Found this little family owned gem in the Westside Pavilion food court! I got the $ 6 super chicken bowl. Oh my gosh! I’m in heaven! Well… close… Rancho Park, Los Angeles… E A T H E R E

East Wind is the only place I go to eat in this mall. Locally owned, all natural ingredients /no additives, healthy options, completely customizable orders, and the sweetest family who owns the business and is there open-to-close everyday. I recommend their spicy seaweed or spicy eggplant as a side order. A must try!

Not enough teriyaki sauce and some of the chicken were burnt. Decent pricing however, for the chicken teriyaki bowl it still isn’t worth about $ 6.50. On the other hand, customer service is good.

Only place our kids will eat in this food court. Salmon plate is great. not as salty as most places. Most items are made to order. Owners are nice and friendly and always great to support their restaurant.

I still haven’t found a better teriyaki bowl to date and I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. Even the chicken breast bowl is juicy! I don’t know how they do it!

Yesterday, I had some food from East Wind. I had some tofu with cucumber, noodles, and rice. My plate was good with some added teriyaki sauce. The food was tasty and warm.

A Westside Pav staple. I discovered somewhat recently that they expanded/changed their menu to offer Korean bibimbap. I’ve gotten it twice now(chicken bibimbop) and it is delicious! I am always willing to forgive any watered down flavor«for the westside,» but I did not have to in this case. A great spot if you’re in the mood for this dish.

One of the best food court food places I have ever had. Freshly cooked when you order, Korean style Ribs are killer and the price is right. No samples because when you have it once you know to come back. Good eat at the right price.

Great place for your money and value. Get the special comb with the miso soup. Plenty of food and tasty. The people are very kind and the portions are big enough for two. You won’t regret eating at East Wind. the place is located inside the west side pavilion mall. It’s Japanese food.

I’ve been eating here for 6+ years. This place has very tasty, high quality and low priced food. I usually order the combo #9 — chicken, rice, noodles and veggies. The portions are really nice. For the past 6 years I’ve seen the same Korean lady behind the counter. She is a champ. She always remembers me and knows what I want. Thank you for the good food :)

Impressive! I came to this mall for the first time and grabbed lunch at the food court. My expectations were relatively low overall. I saw that East Wind had bibimbop and I made a B line for it. I’ve had some pretty crummy bibimbop in the past and I just hoped it would be passable because I just didn’t want panda express. Was I impressed or what! The food was fresh and really tasty. Also, the lady serving me gave me all the sides that usually come in a restaurant too, like glass noodles, kimchi, potato salad, miso soup, cucumber! It was good overload, and all of it really nicely prepared. I went up to the counter to tell them how much I enjoyed my meal and there was another customer up there doing the same thing! Ha ha!

Never having ever eaten in this Food Court, I was skeptical about really anything here. On closer examination and a bit of getting-over-thyself, it was hard to not be interested in East Wind. OK, the plastic approximations of the dishes in the display does take a moment to look at seriously, but, then, hey why not? For about $ 10, you can have a huge meal that tasted great, had a lot of variety, and didn’t(on the surface) appear to be just a bunch of sugary fast food. I have no idea about all the ingredients, but what we had was really good. There are many combo dishes to be had, and the one I worked my way through rather pleasantly and ravenously, featured a Lo Mein, a small egg roll, rice, miso soup and a couple other things I’m forgetting. Mmm. Very good. And they are ready for you here. Despite the signage declaring 11am as when they open, we got there maybe ten minutes earlier, oblivious to their schedule, but welcomed just the same. They took our order, and soon after, we had brunch. Tasted fresh, and not full of MSG and the like. Who knows what all was in there, but I wasn’t thirsty the rest of the day, and I wasn’t hungry for several hours. SO, it worked on the major places of interest. Definitely a keeper — thanks Unilocal for the confirm to visit.

Price is great, food is even better, and the service is top notch! It’s too bad it’s in a mall food court as I wish I could just drop by instead of heading into the mall parking lot. However, the food makes up for it, and the ladies who are cooking and provide the food are extremely friendly. They somehow remember me after me being only there a couple times. I am huge on fast food type asian food and this place is great. Not overly greasy, brown rice options for cheap, and quality meat. This place is probably the best bang for your buck around this area. Cant find anything close.
