Rose is fantastic. She tells you the way things are, she’s humble and very respectful along with the rest of her staff. Her business is very small but don’t let the size push you away. they have great service and pay great attention to detail, they do a great job at polishing your boots with actual shoe polish and not leather luster and will also leave a great shine on your Sam brown.
Her tailoring skills are out of this world. She leaves extra material through the areas she tailors which allows for you to come back and open up your uniform for those extra pounds vs having to buy a brand new uniform. (Goodies nor galls does that for you).
Her prices are also very competitive in comparison to the businesses mentioned above.
So if you’re a recruit and don’t want to drive down to Whittier or galls in LB, come to rose. She will set you all up.

These ladies do an amazing job! Always go out of their way to make sure they fulfill your needs.
Not to mention their prices beat everybody else’s in the area. I recommend them to all my classmates in the academy.
However, I wish they would give me a set time when my gear would be finished so that way I can plan my day accordingly instead of having to wait for the notice that my gear is ready at any random time.

Based on the positive reviews, I took my new boots to East LA Uniform to get them shined. I hate to say it, but the shine was sub par. I’ve spent 8+ years in the Army and I can tell you for certain that my boots were not spit shined. Instead, they were coated with a shiny finish and just on the toe cap. They didn’t even bother coating the entire boot! Perhaps they were busy that week (although I gave them a week to do it) but I won’t be taking my boots there again.
