Was looking for a great place to get an acai bowl, since there is no jamba juice nearby. luckily i came across EarthBar and they dont disappoint! will definitely be going back to try some of their smoothies next!

My husband got us acai bowls from here for lunch on Friday to eat during our drive to Las Vegas. I believe he said they were $ 9.75 each and the bowls are huge(he got us the large size)! The acai itself isn’t terribly sweet, and is topped with a vanilla granola, strawberries, bananas and a bit of honey. Pretty simple and quite tasty. The acai itself looked thick, but was quite runny on the actual spoon. Still, texture seemed to be spot-on. I don’t tend to each too much of the granola in acai bowls, but usually I am still quite full for a bunch of hours after eating them. With this one, I was still hungry within 20 – 30 minutes of eating it. I might have just been extra hungry this day, but I still thought it was interesting.

Need a detox or a juice boost? Go green and add protein if you like. These guys have been around since early 70’s and know how to make smoothies.

Ive been here 2 – 3 times now, and I still have mixed feelings. The smoothies are alright, tend to be thick and powdery, and pricey for my budget(smoothies are a little under $ 10). The acai bowl is more worth the money since it is huge and you can probably eat it for 2 meals. I also appreciate that the smoothies and acai bowl are not that sweet; ingredients are mostly fruits or health products that are low in processed sugar. I want to like this place more than I do, but for me, the honest rating is a 3 star.

Convenient location full of healthy snacks. Tried their Acai bowl and it came in a really big cup. They ask if you want agave before punching in the order. I’d personally skip it. The portion size is big for a small at $ 7.75. Fresh fruits and crunchy granola are always appreciated. The flavor of the actual acai mix was ok. It could’ve been more tart but that might’ve been my fault for adding agave. Their young staff are all great. I got a little enthusiastic and my spoon snapped in half mid-scoop. One of the guys saw and handed me a new one right away. Very nice.

I was super jazzed for the place, but left pretty disappointed. I was looking for a juice spot in downtown and found this one on Unilocal only a few blocks from where I was parked. It looked great on Unilocal and also when I first walked in. They have lots of grab & go snacks and juices and smoothies that are pre-made if you are on the go. There was no line so I was able to quickly order a Chocolate Supreme smoothie. I asked about the«Earth Fusion Protein» cause I am always a little wary of powders in my drinks, they said it was vegan, so I went for it. My whole drink tasted like powder. It was chalky and overpowered all of the other ingredients. I was extremely disappointed. It was very filling and I only paid $ 5.45 cause of their afternoon weekday happy hour. But I only drank about half of it. Bummer.

Here’s to one of my favorite, more expensive habits that I refuse to give up. With a menu of fresh juices, basic and power smoothies, shots and healthy snacks such as an Acai bowl, you’re bound to find something that makes your heart and stomach happy. After trying several items from the menu, I think I have finally narrowed it down to a few routine favorites. Acai Bowl «Blended Acai & banana layered on bottom and on top with vanilla almond granola & topped with fresh cut strawberries and bananas» …need I say anymore? I have tried a lot of Acai bowls, but what I loved was how fresh the strawberries and bananas were; the fruits weren’t brown or soggy, but tasted ripe and sweet. Lastly, that drizzle of agave is the perfect cherry on top. The small size is very filling and delicious, definitely a must try for anyone who likes Acai bowls. Green Detox Basic Smoothie «Banana, pineapple, raw kale, & hemp milk». If you’re looking for a sweet, flavorful smoothie then this is not for you. This high in fiber smoothie seems to be one of the more healthier drinks on the menu. Radiant Skin Power Smoothie «Papaya, Acai, flax oil, Tocotrienols, Lecithin, E3Live, green detox powder, stevia, & almond milk». No, I don’t know what several of the ingredients are inside of this smoothie or if they’re doing anything at all for me, but I surprisingly like the taste! I will continue to order this from time to time to see if I notice a difference in my skin. Gimme Greens Fresh Juice «Kale, apple, lemon, & cucumber». If you have tried any fresh ‘green juice’, this is nothing short of your typical green juice. Juices are nicely lined up in the cold case, so you can easily see what type of juices are sold and their specific ingredients. As I previously stated, nothing here is «cheap». Please remember that you’re paying for quality, organic, fresh ingredients. The line/wait time is ridiculous during lunch time, so if possible, I recommend calling ahead your order. I will definitely be back soon!

I perpetuate a cycle of thinking that smoothies will stop or cure whatever kind of hypochondria or psychosomatic crazy I have. This Earthbar is hands down my favorite smoothie place ever. Although they oddly sell a lot of meat wraps in the fridge, the smoothies are non-dairy and vegan. Cashew milk, almond milk, a meat and nuts kind of place I guess. I find myself coming here at least once a week because from 2 to 4pm, their $ 8 to $ 9 smoothies are $ 5 to $ 6. Their Acai Pure and Muscle Up are my favorites. Both are rich and thick. Acai Pure is textured with lots of acai and blueberries in almond milk. Muscle Up tastes like a thick peanut butter smoothie but made of almond butter and some type of mystery thickness. While the Earthbar at Equinox has a great patio, this place has a killer staff that knows how to make a vegan smoothie not taste anywhere near like ice, no no.

Smoothie had a unique flavor and was very reasonably priced. In the gaslamp district it was close and centrally located. I was able to get vegan options as well as my wheat grass shop. Great place to try if your looking for healthy yet off the beaten path.

When you’re just not into the expensive or fattening food options near Pershing Square, here’s a good option of «clean» eating that doesn’t entail having to huff it to Whole Foods a few blocks away. I got the small Acai bowl. Uh, there’s nothing«small» about it. I actually made two meals out of it! Half of bowl filled me up for the rest of the day, which is really shocking because I usually need a late afternoon snack of some sort. Yes, a more expensive version of Jamba Juice, but the quality and quantity, at least regarding their acai bowls, is worth it! I definitely will be a returning customer!

Earthbar has a nice variety of cold pressed organic juices. I tried three of their green juices; I appreciated the variety of low sugar options, although I wouldn’t say these were the most delicious green juices I have had. Their shots on the other hand is where it’s. They utilize oregano oil in some of their shots which is great for allergies and colds(which I am currently experiencing). I would return for the shots and maybe the green juices.

Shots, shots, shots! No, not those shots. Cold & sinus shots… Cold & Sinus Shot I was advised by the cashier to not sip it, and if you’re reading this, you should follow that advice. DONOTSIP. It burns like a mother. Let’s just say I came in with a stuffy nose, and after taking this shot, my nose cleared up pretty quickly. It obviously didn’t heal my cold, but it did make me feel a little better. Hey, a few dollars for some relief? Wellness Shot I didn’t try the Wellness Shot but my girlfriend did, and she had the same reaction. If you look at my pictures, they don’t look too different. Both go down with a burn. Have a chaser ready.

Earthbar is like a more expensive and healthier Jamba Juice. Their drinks are pretty expensive, but I feel like it’s worth the price since it’s supposed to be good for me. They have a good variety of smoothies and juices, some better tasting than others. I would recommend the Matcha Green T-Power. I’m a fan of their acai bowl though! I got a small and it was extremely filling. It was also quite delicious. I suggest opting for the agave drizzle on top; definitely adds a nice sweet touch to it.

So glad my friend introduced me to this place! It’s really hard to find a healthy snack when you’re working all day long. Couple that with the fact that downtown LA has so many dining distractions that eating right can be almost impossible. Earthbar can fix all of that. You can have your cake and eat it too! It’s earthy, it’s lite and it won’t break your wallet. We ordered a large bowl but split it. It came with banana, strawberries, hemp milk and agave. I could have had that small portion for lunch because it is really hearty and healthy at the same time. They also carry a lot of supplements that are made from plants and are supposed to be really good for you. I’ll have to try them later. Glad I learned about Earthbar because it makes dieting and eating healthy simple.

LOVE this place! The shelves are always stocked with yummy juices and pre-made meals. I personally am obsessed with the acai bowl. The staff is always friendly and helpful when I am unsure of what to add into my bowl. Also, their coffee is delicious!

Filling and goes down easy. Sometimes you get a smoothie and then you get a stomach ache. This smoothie was smooth and refreshing on a hot 99 degree day.

I was DYING for a healthy smoothie one morning(yes, I was hungover) and turned to Unilocal to find one that was open near work. Earth Bar was the winner. I circled the streets for parking(literally) 5 times and ended up risking it and parking in a 5 minute loading zone. Yes, it was that serious. They have a variety of smoothies. Some labeled«power» and others«basic»… hmm I’m not basic(hehe) so I ordered the power that the cashier recommended. MAN loved it. + Flax Master — comes with acai, banana, protein, almond butter, maca, L-glutamine, cinnamon, flax oil, B-12, and coconut water. PACKED with goodness and so damn tastyyyyyyyyyy. Expensive? YES. but ok to splurge on the good stuffs every now and then! P. S. I didn’t get a ticket, hooray.

No different than the Equinox one on Flower. I found this one to be a little less friendly, though, maybe because it’s quieter from not being next to a gym. Even the selection of food is the same, with similar freshness. The matcha smoothie is so good!

I love Earthbar! I go there all the time since they have locations in most Equinox gyms. The green detox is delicious and so is the slim down. They also have great pressed juices and offer cleanses. I have to say, this location isn’t as good as the others. It is really close to work which is a huge plus but the staff here is rude and the service is extremely slow. My dad and I went there this morning to get breakfast smoothies and it took them about 10 minutes to take our order even though there was only one other client there. One lady was on the phone and barely noticed that we were there, and the other lady was busy making an acai bowl for someone else(which by the way, took her like 15 minutes to one bowl).

So I never understood the high price tag on smoothies and other drinks at juicebars, until recently. It’s all about the high quality ingredients and the freshness of the preparation. I can never start juicing because frankly, it takes way too much prep, work, and cleaning. And not to mention you have to stock your fridge with a wide variety of ingredients. Ain’t nobody got time for that! So thank gawd Earthbar is right by my apartment. They do all the dirty work, and I just pay $ 7 for a delicious liquid meal on the go. Being healthy really doesn’t get any easier than this. I was recovering from the flu this past week, and my boyfriend got me the Amazon Immunity(Pineapple, Acerola, Lemon, Ginger, immune boost, and Hemp milk) and it was so good. Their smoothies are so tasty, filling, and full of healthy shit. I need to come back weekly for their wellness shots!
