Eagle is a hidden gem in the valley. The food is fresh and super flavorful and delicious. The grape leaves are the best i have ever had. The staff is wonderful! I would recommend this food to anyone.

Their food is amazing! I believe I have tried everything in their menu and I like everything. Especially their beef kebob with rice, humus, and olivie. Like everything that is well done, it takes time to make so call in advance if you are picking up. Thank you for the awesome food and service.

I’ve eatan here twice. And boy let me tell you, I’ve been more than satisfied with this Establishment. Both the service and food have hit it out of the park ! The staff is nice, friendly and willing to take my order even after closing ! Everyone said hi and when I came home and ate my food. I was more than amazed with the genuine taste and value I’m getting for my money. I can honestly say they have made a loyal customer out of me. And hope everyone at least tries it ! I’m telling you ! You won’t regret it !

It’s a small hole in the wall, but the food is excellent. I had the combo plate with chicken, beef, rice and two sides — humus and tabbouleh. All of it fantastic. Price is fair for the portions. It’s in a small lot near a liquor store and barber shop on Nordhoff St. Definitely worth trying.

Let me start by saying I am Armenian so I know how food needs to be prepared. I ordered from them 2 orders of beef shawarma. I get home and all it is is Beef Bbq cut up into slices. That is not a shawarma. That is Armenian beef Bbq and very dry at that. I called to let her know and all she said was that’s how they make their shawarma. Apparently according to them the difference between beef Bbq and shawarma is that one is cut up into pieces and the other one is served whole. Their sides were poor as well. If you want good Armenian/Mediterranean food this is not the place for you.

The mother and daughter team that runs this restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. They are patient when you ask questions. I ordered the combination plate which comes with your choice of 2 meat items. I chose the beef lula kabob and the chicken shish kebob. I found the meats to be a bit bland but did not leave a scrap on the plate. Plates are served with rice, a roasted pepper and a roasted tomato, and a choice of two salads. I had the mushroom salad and the vinigret salad. Both were tasty. My Mom had a piroshky which she found rather tough and difficult to bite into. She did thoroughly enjoy the borscht soup that she had.

Omg guys! This place is a gem, amazing kabob! Where have you been all my life? This place is so addicting, I been here 4 times In two day . Looking for an amazing Russian/Armenian dish look no further my friends . Please don’t get me started talking about the immaculate customer service ! These ladies sure care about their customers and make you feel at home . My husband is Russian and he said this restaurant makes him feel like he is in his grandmas kitchen . That’s how authentic the food is and the customer service is so good you feel right at home . Last time the lady gave me a gift for my husband. It was like some big delicious dumplings. My husband was so happy it made his day ! Thank you and I’m so crazy about Eagle Russian Armenian Cuisine and from my reviews you guys know I’m super picky ! I highly recommend this place !

I’ve been here twice and both times have been amazing! Come hungry, because they serve Armenian style portions, meaning you are going to receive a lot of food! LoL The mother and daughter duo that work there are incredibly nice. They really do make you feel like you’re eating at your friends/family’s house. That being said, the customer service here is excellent! They have a ton of salad and side items and they are all great. I’m pretty sure we tried all their options the first time I came here with my sister. The ladies were so nice, they gave us kind of like a meze sampler, so we could try a little bit of everything. The kebab is perfectly cooked every time. If you’re in the mood for some good old fashioned xorovats, this is the place to go! You will not be disappointed.

If Unilocal allowed half stars, I would give them a 3.5, but I’ll be nice and round it up. My family and I went here after hearing raving about it on Nextdoor. Overall we had a very pleasant experience, but this is not a place I’d be raving about. The staff is very friendly. Just a mother and daughter and a man who does the grilling in back. They have a nice patio in the back, but due to the heat we chose to eat inside. As far as ambiance, there is none. Casual is an understatement. They did play ethnic music though, which was nice. They did not have any unsweetened iced tea which was disappointing, but the waitress brought us an entire pitcher of water with lemons, which was really nice. I drink a lot of water, so I always appreciate when they bring a pitcher to the table. The portions are HUGE and the prices are very reasonable, especially when using the $ 15 off Unilocal coupon. They have a lot of already made«salads» and dips and such in a display case. You get to choose 2 of them with an entrée in addition to grilled veggies(a large tomato and pepper) and a choice of potato(mashed or «fries» which were really more like roasted potato wedges). I dont like grilled tomatos or peppers so I asked if i could have three salads choices instead, and they were fine with that. I got a greek salad, which was good but had way too many raw onions and tomatoes for my taste. I also had a salad with spinach, onions, sour cream, and pomegranate seeds. It sounded odd initially but everyone agreed it was the best of the bunch. I also ordered this little fried pastry with beef inside as a salad optiom but when they brought it to me it was so burned that it was basically inedible. They really should have never served that to me… should have remade it and brought it out later. They also brought a basket of pita bread to the table… had i know this, i would have ordered some hummus as one of my salads. My parents ordered the mushroom salad which they REALLY loved. All the salad portions were huge. Also in the display case they had huge squares of lasagna for $ 3! I plan to go back and order one for takeout at some point. As far as the entrée itself, we all ordered the filet skewer medium rare. While the meat was seasoned nicely, it was not cooked medium rare at all. My meat was a medium well… only the slightest little bit of pink. My parents had a couple chunks of meat that were on the medium side but none of us got medium rare meat. I get the feeling the man grilling in the back wasnt paying attention at all to our request or has no sense of how to cook medium rare meat. This is really something they need to work on. The mashed potatoes that came with my meal were heavenly, and again, a very large portion. My father got the«fries» which were in the form of large potato wedges and he enjoyed them. We all went home with a lot of leftovers and ordered two napoleans togo. We were excited because the mother makes the napoleans herself. Unfortunately, the napoleans were not traditional napoleans and had very little filling. It basically just felt like i ate a stack of filo dough. Overall, the majority of the food we had was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The portions were huge and the prices were extremely reasonable. However, the ambiance really lacks and they need to work on cooking the meat according to how it is requested. We probably won’t dine in often for dinner at this place, as we like to eat out at places a bit less casual, but I can see us getting takeout from there or dining in for lunch. It is definitely nice to see a family owned restaurant in the area as opposed to the sex shop that used to be in the strip mall. I would recommend this restaurant for lunch or a very casual dinner.

I’ve been wanting to come to this place. The minute we walked in we were greeted with great welcomes and since it is not our typical food. We had a great helper. I’ve tried Armenian food before and I love it. So this place pulled at me because I’m a fanatic about their hummus. So we did the order and sat down while we conversate and the lady brings our drinks over and she’s so nice and she finds the time to talk to us and share some insights about the mural painted on their wall. If you must know it’s a mural her aunt painted of her and the brother. I’m pretty sure you won’t miss it. Anytime you want a seat down home cook meal I would definitely have this on my list. Everything is cooked fresh and right on the spot. Thanks to my bestie and husband for the treat.

They have one of the best service I have ever experienced. I felt welcomed and didn’t feel like just a number. They didn’t start making the food until my order was placed so it was fresh and they gave me a complimentary side as I waited. The food is also phenomenal. This new spot has just been added to my regulars.
