Great place. It’s really inexpensive and they do a good job! Everyone listens, it’s a nice change from other Thai places in the area!

I been several times and every time we are extremely satisfied. My husband left he’s wedding band inside and the owner ran out in the rain to give it back. Just another reason we keep coming back :) Nice experienced and very masseuses. This place is a must.

I will be back! Even though the happy ending was 35 bucks for the hour. I’ve had people walk all over me but never paid for it! If she touch my hair one moe-gen… lol she didn’t mess it up!

Just got Pam’d. Best massage experience I’ve ever had. She found where it was needed and delivered pressure you would expect from The Terminator. Had tension in there from years ago and she plowed right through it. If you’re into hard Thai massage with back walking and the whole 9, request Pam. Tip well my friends.

I hurt my back a bit overdoing it during a recent move. Being new to the area I thought I’d try my luck on Unilocal to find a suitable massage provider. After reading various reviews on several places I took a leap of faith and selected Eagle Rock Thai Spa. I’m glad that I did as this place is fantastic! Diane worked on me for an hour and I left feeling much better than I had before walking in. I appreciate the esthetic of this place, very laid back and comfortable. The staff is very nice and the cost of services is a tremendous value. If you wanna relax or repair your body I highly recommend Eagle Rock Thai Spa!

To summarize the experience, take the line from the famous Tone Loc song ‘Wild Thing,’ «I need forty dollars to make you holla.» That could be what my masseuse would say before giving a massage. I’m just kidding. This is only partially true because I’m not hollering during the massage but they do cost $ 40($ 55 since I personally feel led to tip $ 15). However, the massage is a professional one and there’s no funny stuff going on around here plus you’re asked to pay AFTER the massage vs before the massage so it’s not like you’re having to solicit service. So what she actually says after the massage is «Forty dollars please.» Anyway, the small shopping plaza that it’s located in is a bit limited with the parking. Depending on the time of day you have your appointment, you may need to park in the neighborhood and take a short walk. I only had to do that once since I usually schedule my sessions on a weekday evening. The masseuse I request all the time is named LAURA. Before she starts she asks where I’m experiencing tightness or pain. Oddly enough, I think that’s all good and well for the masseuse to ask that at the beginning but I feel that in order to get an effective massage I let them know the spot/trigger point to work on as soon as they get to the area. Once I let Laura know that she’s working an area that’s giving me relief she’ll spend more time in the area and adjoining areas to find all the knots in the muscles to work out. Also as she’s starting out the massage she tells me to let her know if it’s too painful and will adjust the pressure she applies. She’ll also ask during the massage how you’re doing if you sound like you’re not comfortable. Honestly, I don’t want to be handled with kid gloves, so no pain, no gain. I work out and do pull ups with a weight belt that has the equivalent of my body weight attached to it at times so the muscles in my back can get really tight and knotted. I just tell her to go hard and she definitely goes HARD with her heels, elbows and all. Just a suggestion, if you want a really firm massage and aren’t shy about some initial pain, allow the masseuse to walk on you and use their heel to work out any knots you have. Don’t worry, they have bars attached to the ceiling so they can manage how much weight they apply. I think the next time I go there I’m going to have to bring one of those mouth guards for people who grind their teeth at night because the massage is so intense I end up gritting my teeth as I’m getting worked on. So far my only solace has been thinking about that scene in ‘Platoon’ when they get ambushed at night and as one of the guys is screaming from a non lethal wound, Tom Berenger’s character grabs him and puts his hand over his mouth to stop the screams and growls at him, «Shut up! Shut up! Take the pain. TAKETHEPAIN!» As for one reviewer who had the person working on him«require» a $ 10 tip, I personally have not run into that. Still, I tip $ 15 because the way I see it, $ 55 to take away significant discomfort of a stiff neck or stiff back that’s constantly bothering me each waking hour is totally worth it.

Came in with my buddy to get a nice massage to finish off the weekend. Horrible experience. Let me list my reasoning. 1) When I was asked if I had any problems, I let my therapist(Tami I believe is her name) know that my shoulders and upper back area is very tight. I asked for a Thai /Swedish massage. She then asked if its ok to walk on my back. I said that it was fine. For 30+ minutes she was standing on my legs and occasionally on my back. Note I said standing. She hardly moved! 2) only 5 minutes into the massage(standing on my legs), the front desk phone rang so she left. She didn’t come back for about 10 minutes. I know this because after I realized it was taking her awhile, I got on my phone and checked my missed calls, texts, and Facebook. I had time to Facebook! 3) when she did apply oil to actually massage my back, I asked her if she can focus on my shoulder. She said ok. She went and massaged my legs and lower back! The one reason I went to get a massage and she didn’t even focus on it! 4) in reference to #2, I thought that since she was gone for 10 minutes, that it would then be 10 minutes longer. No! I finished the same time as my buddy did, and we started at the same time. How do I get short changed 10 minutes in a 60 minute massage? 5) in the end, when it came down to pay, the lady said its $ 40 plus $ 10 tip. PLUS $ 10 tip!?! Not suggested or recommended? But PLUS! I said no thank you! I’m paying $ 40 and that’s it. She seemed bothered by it and upset. I said, thank you have a good night. Avoid this place! Rude and not worth your money.

Best massage ever. The combo Swedish/Thai is wonderful. I went in with stiff shoulders and a headache and left pain free and relaxed. The massage therapist was wonderful. The combination of stretching and kneading was perfect. Lovely clean and comfortable place. Very reasonable. Since I came before 2 pm it was only $ 35 for the hour. I will definitely be back.

This is truly a hidden gem! They know the correct amount of pressure and where the hidden tension spots are. I do not go anywhere else for my massages. They are extremely affordable to boot. I go as often as I can.

I came here for a massage. The first 20 minutes were amazing — I felt great. But just as they start to massage my upper back(the part I needed most) some other guy comes in. I hear them talking and he asked if he can come in now and they ask if he can wait 30 minutes. He says yes but then they say never mind he can come in now, and they come get me and tell me I need to leave! What?! So they just kicked me out. Sketchy and not cool at all.

This place is cool. I have nothing bad to say about it. I’ve never been ripped off, or left alone for too long. Never was offered a happy ending. Everything was chill. Ask for Pam

This is the BEST massage I have received in a long time. But, keep in mind, they are not shy about working on your muscles. «No pain, no gain». Another Thai massage place in Pasadena is also fabulous, but this place is way more thorough. The women I met there are very nice, considerate, and my masseuse, Rachael, really worked on the main requested areas, plus, muscles I didn’t even know I had like: ones on the sides of my arms and the sides of my rib cage, etc. Well, I mean, no one has worked those muscles like that, that I know of. Rachael is very peaceful, is nice to chat with, and I even felt like she was very sisterly, does that make sense? Anyhow. I feel good.

So two years later and my husband and I still go here for massages. I still laugh with the foot on the back massages but it feels so good I don’t care! There are specials if you go in before noon. Great price and a great break in the day.

I’ve had some amazing massages here, and you can’t beat the price, but I have to knock off a couple of stars for cleanliness(or lack thereof). I’d hate to see what this place looks like under a black light. Germaphobes, enter at your own risk!

Been here twice. First one was great. Forgot her name. She was young and very devotional. I can feel she likes the job and she puts her energy in every stroke. I should’ve memorized her name. Second time, I just made a reservation without choosing the masseuse. Then the middle aged woman gave me massage. She was at the counter when I came for the first time. She was horrible. Very sloppy and careless… She got on my back with her bare feet and I could felt her dry feet scratching my back… Unbelievable. I guess she decided to massage because no one was available? I can tell she doesn’t do this regularly. Worst massage experience…

Combo massage: 7⁄10 Good but I’ve had better. Prices: Reasonable 45/hr Parking: Easy if you park inside the Eagle Rock Center structure. Service: 6⁄10 Only because when I laid down on the table, I had to lay my head on moist cloth which I thought was gross, and when I asked the massage lady to change it for me, she tried to reason that this is okay and let’s proceed. So I was like, uh, no there’s no way I’m docking my face here, who else has been here and I simply won’t be able to relax not knowing the history of this moist rag contaminating my face. It just didn’t feel right. So that’s that, it could’ve been better.
