I take Trumpet Lessons with Prof. Josiel Perez. He is a fantastic teacher. I really enjoy: the way he teaches, great tips for practicing and improving my sound at home, has a very fun class. He is also extremely flexible with re-​scheduling lessons (sometimes i have to work late). Time flies in his lessons, I always leave wanting more time with him.

Josiel Perez Hernandez is the trumpet instructor for both of our boys — ages 14 and 11. They love him! Even when they don’t want to go to lessons, they come out upbeat and always say, «he is so cool!» Their skills are improving and we are very pleased!

I love taking my banjo lessons here with Sue. She was the only teacher in LA who offered lessons on all the kitchy instruments that seem so hard to find credible teachers for. The studios a real no frills spot that pretty much gets down to teaching so don’t go there if you want to see and be seen but all the teachers there were cool and the lessons were very affordable. The bonus is that you start by taking discounted group lessons to make sure you want to continue with instrument.

took some guitar classes here with M last winter and we had a great experience. learned some basics and a couple songs. we took a beginner class so we didn’t really get ahead too much. our instructor danny was awesome and was even willing to help me pick out a better guitar. they’re a small studio with lots of experience. they don’t have a stuffy attitude and are genuinely willing to help you get better. definitely recommend them to anyone looking for somewhere to get lessons.
