Dystopian Studios is one of the best studios for the best prices in all of Los Angeles. Kevin has created fantastically unique backdrops that work perfectly for alt, fetish, steampunk, cyberpunk and post-​apocalyptic at Studio 1 in the Brewery. He cycles backdrops to keep it fresh but you can always find the vault stuff as a traditional standby. He has a huge collection of props, weaponry, and lighting. Studio II offers more variety with a white cyc wall, wood backdrops, graffiti walls, and industrial spaces. Both studios include makeup rooms. The prices are really reasonable and I use them all the time for both solo shoots as well as group meetup shoots, and it’s awesome for both. Kevin is a photographer and artist so he knows what we are looking for in a studio space and he’s super reliable and easy to work with. Forever my go to studio!

Great studio for all your photo shoot needs, it has props, a makeup room, tons of backgrounds and its very affordable. Only $ 60 for 4 hours is a great deal. I look forward to going back =)

I can’t tell you enough how good of a photo studio deal Dystopian is.
I use this place for a ton of my photographic needs whenever I travel down to LA and I always get amazing results there. Awesome loft area with a cyberpunk fetish theme and a great location near downtown LA. They just opened a new add-​on to the studio as well which I can’t wait to try.
The rates are a better deal than most other LA photo studios and Kevin, who runs the place is an extremely nice guy. Each time I make the trip down I have to go here, I love it and my clients love it.
