Wonderful, personalized boutique mentality. The ladies at Droga helped us send out Christmas presents to our clients, partners & prospects and the chocolates were quite a hit! Their product is amazing but their service is what puts them above the rest.

I first picked up some of their wonderful chocolate caramels(oooh sea salt!) at Urban Radish, a new upscale market and gift shop in downtown LA(near Church and State). Amazing! So i had to find them closer to home and tried without success to find a retailer. In need of some hostess gifts for some friends in a few weeks, I emailed them, placed a big order and they personally delivered to my house! The nicest people but to heck with that. Their chocolates and other sweets are so good(and all OU-D kosher certified, in case that matters) even if they were trolls instead of nice people with great customer service, I’d buy their drugs, I mean chocolates, again!

Put Your Money on Honey is sinful. The best. Calls my name from the cabinet. These chocolates are to DIE for. I need to give them as gifts before they ruin me. But before that… I just may eat a few more. Out of this world!

I just sent a box of Droga Rebel Rocky Road to my 93-year-old mother as a holiday gift — an online order. Although I can not speak to the chocolate because I have not tried it… yet…the Droga Confections customer service is wonderful! I forgot to include a gift card. I emailed Droga on a Sunday afternoon, and within just a few minutes I received an email response with a smile. Also, I was assured that the candies would be freshly boxed for shipping. I like supporting a business that cares about its customers!

New chocolatier from SF now hitting LA. Tried Michelle Crochet’s signature renditions of chocolates at the LA Chocolate Salon and definitely one of the better treats I’ve had lately. Originally known for her take on Rocky Road with her ‘Rebel Rocky Road’, she makes even better salted caramels called ‘Put Your Money On Honey’ and besides the tacky/cutesy name(depends on how much of a cynic you are), the caramels use zero corn syrup. Where am I? Canada? The UK? Those countries get that but not in the high fructose fantasy land the US seems to be. Guess what? Caramel doesn’t need corn syrup and these confections prove it. For such a new business, it’s nice to see it’s already available in Williams Sonoma and other cool shops. Would definitely get the caramels again. Yes, even with that name. See? I’m a cynic.
