This IS the place.
Committing to an «industrial sized» container when a recipe calls for less than a teaspoon of a pricy spice, that may, or may not be used again and, even if stored in a cool, dark space will deteriorate, is history.
Find an array of smartly packaged herbs, spices, seasonings, finishing salts, sauces, and oils to try before you buy. I took home black truffle salt to gift a friend.

This place just opened in the Farmer’s Market at 3rd and Fairfax. They have a full line of spices, all organic and Kosher. Plus they have different kinds of rice, chai teas, and some spices to mix with rice that are quite tasty. Tonight we met Michael, the proprietor, and we got some biryani mix — we added it to some rice and it was great. Michael is a warm, friendly, knowledgeable man who personally sources his spices. I will go back there — soon.
