Dooney & Bourke Century City Store

Awful. RUDE. CONDESCENDING! I received a purse as a gift from my aunt. Since it wasn’t my style, I brought it to the store to exchange. Rather than provide service and assist me with the exchange which I would expect of a high end retail store, they said without a receipt they couldn’t even exchange it. The bag had all its tags & still they stated they couldn’t look it up to see if it was actually purchased. Then implying that either me or my Aunt may have stolen it?! They give me a phone number & tell me to call it, not even doing it themselves, and state that I can send it for trade in for half the value and that I have to pay for shipping as well as a $ 7.50 fee for trading it in. What a load of crap! If this is the type of service a luxury brand thinks they can get away with then I’d say in this economy, good bye Dooney & Bourke. I won’t ever buy your products and I will be sure to let everyone else know how poorly you treat your customers.

Well, I am sad to see it go. This was great little store with great service. South Coast Plaza is the only retail location in California left. At least the parking is free.

They offer high quality, high end products. They offer great customer service which is becoming rarer in the city of angels.
I was pleasantly surprised when I went in to find they were having a special sale that day where I purchased a leather satchel for my sister that was orginally $ 425 and the price that day on this special sale was $ 180. I do know how to find good deals but this was particularly good. If you normally wouldn’t stop i to browse or shop because of the prices, you might be surprised as I was.

I love DB! Even though the sample sale started getting crowded, the sales associates were still helpful to everyone that was in their tiny store. And with all those people, I got what I wanted :)
