I’ve taken Nikki’s class twice – and if you are looking for a way to get your creativity going, receive helpful feedback, or just generate a lot of writing in a few weeks, this is the class for you. You might be working on a screenplay, a blog, a book, a performance piece(or like me, working on nothing at all but wanting to explore the idea of possibly starting work on something), you will not be disappointed in this class. Nikki is smart, funny, and totally sharp: she sees into the heart of what you write and gives you kind, useful feedback. Class size is small and personal, and a great side benefit is that you’ll meet at least a couple of people you connect with. BIGBIGBIG thumbs up for Nikki’s class, whether you are a novice writer or someone who’s already written your masterpiece. Monday nights are the highlight of my week when I have Nikki’s class to look forward to!

I’ve taken a lot of different writing/performing classes at theaters and universities, and this was one of the best classes I’ve ever taken. Nikki is AWESOME. The classes are kept small and intimate, which really works with the structure of the class. There were four other women in my group and we got to know a lot about each other during the course. The prompts and exercises were very helpful, though not necessarily easy. I left the class with a few pieces I want to continue working on and maybe eventually perform and a ton of good prompt ideas. Nikki really helped with sharing your own story and also with tips and and ideas to make sure you’re writing everyday. I definitely recommend this class. You’ll meet great people, learn a lot about yourself, and come out with great pieces and great feedback!
