When I first arrived in LA, I didn’t have a car so I had to walk. Unfortunately dominos was the only place within walking distance that was affordable and could last me a few days so I didn’t have to keep going out. The food here was pretty bad to be honest. I was never a huge fan of dominos but this was a step down from their usual. The crust was incredibly rubbery and hard to chew. I started getting pains in my mouth trying to crush the crust in my mouth. The pizza itself was okay but soggy. I asked for cheddar on half of it and, although it’s not their fault, it tasted horrendous. Reheating it was just as bad. The owner is friendly enough but one look inside and it seems like things aren’t going well.

Alejandro the delivery guy often delivers to our house. Always super friendly and on-time. Tonight, some guys outside my house tried to tell him that the pizza was for them. He thought it seemed shady and called my number to make sure. I had my phone off, but none of their phones rang so he was able to call their bluff. I thought it was pretty funny that the kids tried to swipe my pizza, but really appreciate that Alejandro takes his job seriously and was looking out for us. The Dominos Sunday tradition lives on!

In regards to the pizza that was just delivered to me, I am quite pleased. Delivery was quick and simple, and the pizza had surprisingly more tomato sauce than usual. It was good. I wanted pizza at 12:30a.m., and dominoes delivered.

Still the worst pizza ever. Sauce and ingredients start 3 inches from the edge and even then, hardly any cheese. Last time I ordered(mistake) I asked for hot peppers to sprinkle on top and the guy says«oh we don’t do that anymore». WTF? A pizza place with no pepperincini? Get what you pay for here.

Dominos has always been my go to when I want a solidly mediocre pizza. Not great, not horrible, just solidly mediocre. My craving for solidly mediocre coincides with my laziness. Yesterday I was just too busy playing video games on the couch with my wife to do anything productive. The convenience of Dominos has always been its best selling point for me. That being said, I have not lived in Los Angeles long, and all the other places I have lived gave me very limited pizza choices. Generally when I order from Dominos I lower my expectations to the lowest standards I can. If it is hot/warm, looks like a pizza, and arrives in less than an hour, then I am fairly satisfied. If I can order online, track it, and have it come right to my front door, then I am good for another star. Yesterday I went through the online ordering process. Not rocket science mind you, but it took a good 10 minutes to complete. Hit the check out button expecting to be rewarded with a «Your order is on the way». Too much to ask for… I was greeted with an error message. As I mentioned before… convenience is what Dominos is selling me. The error message was not convenient. I ordered the old fashioned way… Remember when I wrote that convenience is what sells Dominos… I live in an apartment complex. It can be difficult to find the right entrance. I gave EXPLICIT instructions. I received a call from the driver enroute telling me to meet him in the parking lot. I make no apology about not wanting to leave the couch yesterday. Indeed my need to rid the galaxy of The Empire was the driving«force» behind ordering Dominos. Meeting the driver in the parking lot irked me a bit. Irked further when he followed me into the elevator to go deliver a different order to someone else in my building. The food was mediocre as expected. I think my love affair with mediocre pizza and convenience has ended. I probably won’t order from this store again. There are just too many choices for good food.

I ordered my pizza and received within an hour. My food came in good condition and was hot so I was satisfied with that. My only issue was the driver. When I placed my order, I wrote in how to get into my building(where guest parking was & gate code) My place is literally 2 blocks away from this Domino’s location so I would assume they deliver here all the time but I put it anyway. The driver called twice asking how to get into my building and sounded irritated. This bothered me because it’s not hard at all and he sounded like he just wanted me to come downstairs. No sir, the point of delivery is for you to DELIVER it. But other than the driver, the food was okay. I’ll probably only order CarryOut from this location if I ever order again.

I thought ordering from Domino’s would give me a standard, quality product, but this was awful. I ordered 16 wings for carry out. Disgusting. Each wing was 95% fat. I will never order from here again, and recommend you do the same!

If I could put 0 stars I would. This has been the worst delivery experience ever. I received a call from the deliveryman saying he had arrived. My friend and I walked out in our pajamas and waited at the apartment entrance. He asked us where we were I told him exactly where I was. Near certain stores. On so and so street. We even walked onto the sidewalk and waited there. He told us he was at the coffee beans and had the guts to tell us to walk there. He also told us if we didn’t arrive soon enough, he’d leave. We paid for delivery. And we expected delivery. All in all it took over an hour(25 min waiting outside) to get our pizza. The dominoes wasn’t even that far. I don’t know how inept you have to be frick up getting to an address. We specifically stated«apartment complex» and he went to the coffee bean further down the street and expected US to walk to HIM. Overall the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Place must be poorly managed timing of the driver to make a delivery only 2 miles away is averaging about 30 to 45 minutes. not managing their staff correctly according to workload.

Haven’t been to dominos in a long time!!! This place sucks! All Dominos sucks! I got hypertension just looking at the pizza! Over salted processed crap… Passing as food… And it’s not cheap either… How do these places stay alive with so many other options out there??? Crap food!

How can you mess up pizza? By not placing cheese on 3 of the 8 sliced on a medium pizza. Other than that it tastes like a Domino’s Pizza and for the price who is complaining? The delivery guy was really nice and they delivered to the park.

Growing up, my family would eat at Domino’s Pizza all the time. The pizza at this location is mediocre. I would rather have pizza from Costco. The pizzas here seem stale.

For a company thats been around this long, Id expect so much better. I believe I am witnessing the first tumble in what surly will be an enormous and catastrophic domino effect. HELLYEAHPUNINTENDED! 1st of all this particular Domino’s does not accept the coupon codes that THEY send to your home and then try to use on line. So if you want that 2 lg pizza 2 topping deal, sorry buddy your outta luck. Then there’s the taste. Hands down my foot tastes better after an all day hike up and down the back trail of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Its just awful(the pizza and my foot). I don’t get it. You guys were pretty good when I worked there back in the 80’s(don’t laugh I needed the money for prom!). Back then it was simply pizza, coke and diet coke. The most exotic thing was pineapple & jalapeños. Its too damn busy now. Subs, wings, desserts puhleez! Finally…and this is just my opinion. WTF is up with the bait and switch pricing? Somehow my my $ 22.95 order became $ 33+ at the end of the online transaction. Now its«delivery charges» and who knows what else. I know tax doesn’t take it up that much either. Oh well I’m done with Big D. It aint the same place I enjoyed years(decades) ago. Over all the second star is earned for their online order option. That’s pretty sweet with all its interactive bells & whistles plus it was very accurate. Order at your own risk. If this review steers you away form Domino’s, remember that there are plenty of mom & pop places to order from around this hood. Good luck.

I had to let myself cool down before writing this review. I am upset that I am a paying customer and this happened again. This review is going to be forwarded to their Corporate Office. This Dominos is run by complete incompetent staff. The incompetence stretches from the person who answers the phone, to each and every member of the staff to the manager. I will give you a step by step of how yesterday(10−31−11) went down. It was 4:50 and I suggested that I was in the mood for a pizza. A friend and I were just getting ready to sit down to watch a movie and thought it would be a good idea. The chance of tricker treaters knocking on the door was high so I figured why make food. At 4:55 I called Dominos Store #8224 to place an order. I asked if they were still offering the 1-Large 3-topping carry-out special, they said yes. I ordered 1-Large Pizza with double pepperoni & mushroom, light sauce, well done. I asked the employee to repeat the order on the phone because of past problems with getting my order right and they repeated exactly what I had just ordered. I was quoted a time of 10 – 15 minutes. I left the house at 5:05 figuring with traffic I would arrive around 5:10. I arrived at 5:10 and provided the cashier with my name only to find out the pizza was not only not done, it had not even been made yet. I sat down and waited and watched the incompetence start to roll. I watched 3 people walk-in while I was waiting and watched the staff provide them with something they did not order. The staff had to be corrected all 3 times. At 5:20 I was told my order was ready. I opened the box to verify my pizza was correct before leaving and observed it to not even be close to well done. I asked if they could cook my pizza more like I asked and the pizza was taken away and I assumed placed back into the oven. At 5:35 I was once again given my pizza. I once again looked at it and it was still not well done. I was fed-up at this point and left to go home because people were waiting to eat. I arrived at home, opened the box and took one bite, only to find the pizza had NOSAUCE on it. Who orders a Pizza with NOSAUCE? Isn’t that the same as ordering cheese toast? At 5:45 I called Dominos to advise them of what had happened. I spoke with a male, who listened to my complaint and then stated ‘So you got a complaint or what?’ I advised yes I do. I was passed off to another employee who listened to my complaint and passed me off to another employee, this happened 4 times till I reached a female who claimed to be the manger. Each and every time I repeated what I had just said to the person prior. I advised the manager that I ordered a pizza well done that was 1. Not even started cooking when I arrived &2. Provided with no sauce. The manager advised me that the person who took my order put in the comments NOSAUCE even though I had them repeat it and they said LIGHTSAUCE. The manager asked if I wanted another Pizza, I said yes. The manager said she was putting the Pizza in now and that it would be ready upon my arrival. I verified again that the pizza should be cooked well done and the manager repeated that fact. I arrived at 6:05 and provided my name to the cashier who asked what I ordered. I said I was the guy who had just called, the guy who was provided a pizza without sauce on it. He looked stumped, he told someone else, who told someone else, who told a female who was the manager who still needed confirmation from me as to what I had ordered. I advised again what I had just repeated now for the 3rd time. I was advised by the manager that my pizza was on the almost done. The pizza came out, I opened the box and it was once again not well done. I asked the manager what the problem was with a simple order of 1 pizza well done. She took the pizza back and I waited again. I had to ask 2 employees after a period of 15 minutes where my pizza was. The manager came back with my pizza that was once again not done only to advise me that it was placed in a bottom oven that was not working. I picked up the pizza and left. I arrived back to watch the movie with the pizza at 6:35 and I was only going less than 1 mile away. I refuse to be a paying customer and to deal with such a level of poor workmanship. I will never use this establishment again. This staff needs not only to be retrained on every aspect of making a pizza but customer service. 11−04−11 I HAVECONTACTEDTHEDOMINOS ‘WECARE’ ANDNOTHINGHASBEENDONE.
