Cool place. Used to be the old Hollywood Video store. I remember having those lazy days going to the video store and date nights. It was my spot around the corner. When the dollar store came, at first I was hesitant. But hearing good things and having the munchies, I went to pick up a few things. Wow! Huge selection of just about everything you can think of. I roamed through for like an hour filling my basket. The manager/owners were so friendly just smiling and welcoming me like I was invited to their home. Glad to have another spot. I drop by sometimes just for a soda and often find something new. Peter is really cool. I appreciate that he takes time to chat even though he always looks busy. Great store, great people and great vibe.

I really like this place! I randomly walked in this place to pick up a few things & I walked out w/bags! haha I love shopping at dollar stores & I also love supporting ma & pa shops. This store has a wide variety of stuff & the quality doesn’t seem bad. I like how big & clean the store is unlike other 99 cent stores where everything is crammed together all over the place & claustrophobic. The owners/manager are really sweet so I’ll definitely be back as a regular!

I’ve been shopping here since it first opened. Great selection of dollar items and they also have items over a dollar. Love that it has a convenient parking lot. I can get in and out quickly. This place is awesome!

I love bargain stores. They are usually filled with a wide array of stuff both useful and or fun. The trick is that there are two types of «Dollar» stores ones that offer good products at mostly dollar prices and then those that offer crap at prices over a dollar. This store is one of the latter. This being said I still came in on convenience, until that is yesterday when I stepped in to exchange a light bulb my sister purchased the day before, and did not work. The light bulb was $ 1.49, I had the receipt and went in to EXCHANGE it for a bag of chips. We had got another light bulb and didn’t need it after all. The manager stated he would not be able to make the exchange because the light bulb package was opened. I informed him that we would not of known it was too small had we not tried it but that it is not used and we brought the package with us, which was not damaged just opened. I also stated that we were looking to exchange the UN — damaged product instead of asking for the $ 1.49 back. He got nasty with us and said that it was store policy not to make any exchanges and that we should have known the bulb would have been too small before purchasing it. I was amazed, Like I said I love bargain stores and you purchase items with a grain of salt. But I have never been denied an exchange for a small item in any bargain store. The manager went on to vent that if he gave us the exchange he would«Have to take the hit» of the cost of the bulb. I told him he currently has damaged merchandise on the floor which he will most likely damage out like any other retail store and that he had poor business manners in that he was rude and being argumentative for an item which only $ 1.49, the chips are actually less and if he’s worried about taking the hit of that $ 1.49 he could tape the package and sell it for $.75 cents and not take a whole loss. He said«NO» and said that store policy is no exchanges. I then said where is this policy? and how as a customer would I know that if i purchase ANY item in your store and it doesn’t work I could not return it for an exchange? where is that posted? He then said he was going to do me a favor and take the bulb back, in exchange for the bag of chips… He then said the chips came out $.08cents more than the bulb and demanded I give him the 8 cents. This is a crappy store. Just because its a bargain store doesn’t mean you cant do good business and have a good work ethic, I’m not out to get one over on anyone just supporting the neighborhood stores but poor manners and business practices like this just makes this place a rip off. WARNINGTHISSTOREWILLRIPYOUOFF!!! and not allow any exchanges even though its not posted anywhere. I will be reporting this place to the Better Business Bureau cause this neighborhood doesn’t need people who haven’t any business sense and who are purposely taking advantage of the good people of this neighborhood. I know the only reason he did the«exchange» was to get rid of us because he saw that we were not cowering under his angry stance and rudeness(he was a big guy).
