Love the Dollar Tree on Alvarado and Maryland St. Courteous Staff. They even had Vanilla Wafers for the homemade banana pudding I ended up making. A polite and professional staff member helped get to the right aisle. I could not find those wafers at a competitor’s store. Thank you Dollar Tree!

Horrible Service, Sorry to say I myself work with customers but I DONOT ever talk or treat them the way i was treated. ERICK the cashier was so rude, Instead of me wanting to go to that store to shop for some thank you cards since it was on my way to work i rather go anywhere else and pay whatever price but not to see them talk that way to me. When your in a place where you work with customers, your supposed to treat them the way you would like to be treated. erick you don’t even deserve this 1 star i rated, but sadly i have to rate it.

First time ever going into a Dollar Tree and to my surprise it wasn’t bad at all. We parked in the nearby parking lot to the retail store adjacent and you simply walk down the stairs(you will see double door in the back — emergency exit) to the main entrance, shopping carts to entrance and shop away. I can’t compare it an any other Dollar Tree but they had the basic of items from party, to holiday to home good, to schooling etc. We came specially looking for decorations for a co workers birthday since the«other» less then a dollar store was bone dry. We got lucky and found an assortment of goodies to decorate her cubicle plus they have a balloon center and was able to pick up some really adorable birthday balloons you would pay 3 times the price elsewhere. I am going to use my Unilocal app to find my local Dollar Tree store and do a little damage and at a dollar it really is a little damage.

Definitely one of the strangest dollar trees I’ve been to. Walked in and it felt like the stepping into an episode of the twilight zone. This place is small, too small. The aisles are narrow and feel like they are about to swallow you whole. The selection of goods here is very limited and the staff is rude. I hate that the shopping baskets here are caked with dirt. DISGUSTING, never coming here again.

My friends from out of state and even up north are always raving about how awesome their Dollar Trees are! I am so so so jealous! What do I expect from a place that shares a parking lot with ‘the worse Ross on the face of the Earth’ :(

Compared to other dollar trees I’ve been to, this one is very small and the items are all very out dated. I was looking for birthday decorations for my coworker’s office and there wasn’t ANY birthday banners. They were carrying old Mardi Gras decorations that looks like it’s been sitting on the shelves for years. Since I couldn’t find a banner, I decided to decorate my friends office with a bunch of balloons. They have a great selection of balloons ranging from birthday, congratulations, get well, I love you, etc. When I finally narrowed down my selection to 3 birthday balloons and 7 plain balloons, the cashier told me that they don’t have helium and that they haven’t restocked helium for the past 3 months. I left empty handed with no decorations and a headache from browsing through the store. I will say that my interactions with the employees were all positive ones. They seemed to help me to the best of their ability given that their store was a mess and they were understaffed. Dear Dollar Tree– PLEASEGETHELIUM! thank you! Note: Parking can be a bit confusing, but the lot is shared with Ross Dress for Less up top.

Good prices like the 99 cent store, but the parking sucks and they have these carts that don’t allow you to leave the store so just don’t buy a bunch of stuff unless you don’t mind carrying everything to the car by hand. That’s another thing, in order to get to the parking lot, you have to walk all the way around the building and climb stairs. It’s a big pain in the ass. They do have some pretty items that’s competitive with the 99 cent store though.

Very neat and organized in here, clean carpet… with regards to the products… OMGEVERYTHINGYOUCOULDNEED! Many varieties of fries(shoestring, steak cut, original, tator tots.) that 99 Cents store doesn’t seem to have… the lines are a bit slow, but its okay, just take your time, nothing drastic is gonna happen. even though the cashier guy was joking to this coworker«yeah I’d beat up a girl… I’d beat up a girl». ok he kept repeating himself to her and we all got the point! and we get that he’s joking and doesn’t wanna be here, but it allows for entertainment. customers come in here with earphones in their ears. smart idea if you want to tune out the world and stupid conversations, but not smart if you want to get mugged! jk i still love dollar tree nonetheless… its still very convenient.

I was treking to look for an awesome dollar tree. but this place did not make my list. The store is organized but selections for items such as birthday items are not that great. The aisles for items are pretty cramped and the location in Alvarado does not have great parking. it has to be shared with Ross. but I still love dollar tree stores. I was able to buy kitchen cloths. and my son found care bear stickers. a classic.

This place was neatly organized and clean, based on the previous review I was ready to see everything thrown on the floor, 1 cart, and kids running all over the place. But it was a good looking 99 cent store. The only reason i’m not giving this place no more than 3 stars is because of the employees. Ok, seriously your gonna talk to your employees out LOUD while sitting down with security guard about your«homie trynna fight that foo, talking mad shit at the Club… something something Bitch… something something motherF*cker…» while some poor old lady is trying to ask a question about where an item is. THEN, while checking out the cashier has the biggest stink eye face. She was acting like she was doing ME a favor by ringing up my stuff. THEN, i left one of my bags at the register and she yells«EY! YOURBAG!» …guess they don’t teach customer service at Dollar Tree school.

This has to be the dirtiest dollar tree ever. I have never had cashiers that were cursing and throwing things until now. They can’t even count money. Oh my-how I wish I would have never stopped. I wish I could leave negative stars. One star only because I could not give any less!!!
