This place is an absolute diamond in disguise. Honestly some of the best sandwiches in downtown LA, and at the price they are asking, it’s probably one of the best places to eat in LA. Not only are the lunch sandwiches amazing, but the breakfast sandwiches are the best I have ever had. I have eaten all over western Europe, Mexico, Canada, and the United States, and this little café in the base of a downtown LA office building has the best breakfast sandwiches iv’e ever tried or heard of.
The staff is also professional and courteous, it is family run, and is overall just a top quality operation. This place is without a doubt 5 stars, and I am a pretty critical person.

Things you must get:
+ Matcha green tea latte
+ Caprese sandwhich (on french baguette)
+ Fresh Italian (on ciabatta)
DO NOT GET:
+ grilled cheese (on sourdough) — This is the plainest, blandest, driest grilled cheese I have ever had in MY LIFE… and for $ 6 I felt robbed. It was just melted provolone between two slabs of bread. I could’ve made it at home – AND A WHOLE LOT BETTER.
Another thing to note is that the wait time for food is realllllllly long. Expect to wait 15+ minutes for food. Dolcini’s is great if you work at TCW, but honestly… no need to go out of your way to try their sandwiches or coffee. This place is just for convenience.

OK, so I know that I come here way too much. Sometimes twice in one day. My boss asks me to get her a latte all the time and I like their lunch items. I guess you could say I’m a good customer. :)
It is a very small place but you can call ahead and avoid the wait. The ladies that work there are super sweet and nice. Somewhat healthy food. Try the ciabatta bread. I also love their coffee and lattes.

Mmmmmm… white chocolate mochas… mmmmmm
The girls behind the counter are there to serve. And with a smile, no less. You don’t see that often enough these days.
They have great sammiches, great coffee and they have this cute little round egg boiler that cooks them in no time. Heh… I’m not into the newfangled appliances. I don’t even own a microwave anymore.
It’s a priority that I get coffee before I walk in the door at work. I’m addicted and it feels so nice!

Great friendly service, awesome sandwiches when I get the turkey on wheat because there is a cranberry sauce or spread that goes with it. Freshly made. The coffee is good and sweet but I prefer coffee with more of a kick. The soup here is also good but everything is for the TCW building so items run out quickly as far as sandwiches and soup. Quick, easy when you’re in a hurry.
