Dillon’s

This is one of the worse bars in Hollywood, its trashy and dirty I don’t like the atitude of the bartender’s and the owner, and found out that they hardly ever clean some of their beer pipes. Don’t go their their a bunch of trashy bastards.

Had a negative experience there from a service standpoint. Bar is beautiful — two bars inside, and place is big. Beer as expected, but didn’t sample the Guinness which is always telltale sign of how serious they are about their draught.
Anyway, my girl and I get our beers at 5pm on a Sunday night. Dodgers are playing STL on ESPN. They have 4 giant projection screens with sports on, but no Dodgers game (isn’t this LA). What they had on instead was poker on MSG Network, NHL Network (not in season), & ESPNews.
I asked manager, or kid in skinny jeans who looked like he was in charge, if he could put the game on. He first said they don’t get the games because TimeWarner cable charges. I told him it was free on ESPN. He seemed irritated, but said he would check.
20 minutes later I asked bartender if she could put ESPN on for me and she seemed bothered, but did ask if I wanted another beer. I said no, I’ll go watch the game a block away at 33 taps.
Just as my girl was finishing, 25 minutes later, I saw the kid manager walk to another room. ESPN came on — Dodgers are on and then he came out. It took him 2 seconds.
Because he discarded my request as nothing, I am discarding his place and will not return. Too much competition to be that way to guests. It’s too bad because it looks like a place I’d visit often. Dodgers ended up winning 4 – 3 and 33 taps got my $ 135 for the night.

großes irish pun am hollywood blvd. ecke vine sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. überall läuft füer amerika typisch sport auf großen flatscreens. das essen ist sehr lecker, bei einer sehr großen getränke– und speiseauswahl. das personal ist super nett und sehr bemüht.
kleiner tipp: die arbeitskleidung und die damen, die in ihr stecken sind einen besuch alle mal wert.
