Diamond Beauty Supply

I came into the beauty supply for one thing but end up with several items. This is a cute little store which has jewelry, accessories, hair extensions, hair products, etc.
I was walking around the store and no one asked me if I needed any help. I notice a lady. walking near me and I asked her if they sold a soecific product? She said, yes! it’s behind the counter. (mind you there were two counters and I was standing at one) I stood over at this counter there waiting for a while, and finally another lady came over by that counter to get something and asked if I need any help. I said, yes I wante a hair product. She said the same thing it’s behind counter but on the other side. I said wow, the other lady didn’t tell me it was on the other counter. I just been waiting over here thinking I was going to get some service.. Overall, I like the products and I may give the store another.

I found this place while I was killing time last month, The beauty supply includes a generous assortment of assessories including hats and jewelry. All resonably priced. I came here for the first time and I will be a loyal customer!

so in love with this beauty supply! they have great prices, and the cutest assessories. i always have to buy two or three of the same assessories due to my sister n law or cousin taking them or asking me where did i get this from and why didn’t i get them one. hands down ladys and guys ur go in looking for one thing and end up spending $ 20 dollars. i always do.

I went to this store because I had a last minute appointment that I made for an interview, this store was in route and many people recommended this store but in all reality I give it 3 stars for effort. This location has great accessories which I did stack up on, but as far as hair that I was getting, something in my stomach told me not too, I asked the clerk for help told her I wanted mid length nothing to drastic or over the top, dark brown color to blend with my hair and something I can use more then once, or last me at least 3 months, virgin hair to be exact. This clerk handed me a number 1 which is Black and a #4/​30 which is like a blonde brown talking about this color is nice, The color was nice but I was not looking for mixed texture or looking to layer my hair which she gave me 14 16 and 18 which on me is pretty long on me since im a little on the short instead of average size. and the hair was not virgin it was remy virgin in the pack hair. I eventually pointed to the hair I had in mind and asked for ounces or bundles in it which I was very skeptical on buying it, The clerk did not even want me to touch the hair which was very strange to me, The hair was nice but I noticed shedding as soon as I shook it and touched it. They really tried to get me to buy one of the hairs the showed me which was a little to pricey for something that felt a little to harsh, (almost seemed like a blend texture synthetic and human) but I walked away from it in search of something a little better in short amount of time. Maybe next time.

Not really sure about how legit a few of the reviews left here are, but mine is very true and I too like Samcam have had problem with the hair. Now once you go in it looks like a decent place and the hair looks gorgeous but someone I know went for the «indian hair» they were selling which is priced veryyy highly and it had lice in it. The actual weave hair when she got it home had lice in it. A weave expert examined and said the same thing. It was very disgusting. As for everything else make up and costume jewelry hair dye etc. ill get from there if im in the area and need it but i will never buy any hair from there.

I orginally can into this particular beauty supply because of all the amazing reviews it had, now I feel as if the reveiws are not real or genuine because my experience was not as the reviewers described.
I will never return to this place ever again! I recently moved to Culver city and I was looking for a new go to beauty supply. I saw this one on Unilocal,and the reveiws were amazing, so I thought i’d give ot a shot. The associate that help me out when initially came Ias very nice and seemed to be knowledgeable, I spent about thirty minutes in there picking out the right hair, the first question I was asked was «what length do you want» and what was my price range. I told the associate that I wanted 16 inches.
After looking over the different hair they had to offer. I finally made my decision and said «I wanted a 16» and a 12. I double checked the prices then She rang me up and I was on my way.
I get to my hair dresser, under the impression that i had everything need and i would make it in time for a very important interview for a promotion i’ve been working very hard to recieve; only to find that i have both the wrong color and length of hair. I was so distraught and immedately turned off.
I called let them know how much of an inconvenience this really was! I had to pay my hair dresser for the work she started, and leave to return the hair I was sold.
When I came back into the store I had two of the employees tell me how I could have still went to the interview and ways is could have temporarily done my hair, without any knowledge of what type of industry I work in. Point blank period as an African American women if I walked into the interview with my hair looking any old way I would not be taken seriously.
Because of the major set back I really just wantes my money back, which i didnot of course receieve, which is another reason i wont be returning, of you sell an honest product you should not have a fear of unhappy customers with returns right?
I felt as if the manager that was there at the time really feed off of the attention that this was bringing into the store because she then got «loud» with me. I should have received my money back because the employee who btw left early didn’t care and gave me the wrong products.
If I were you I would go somewhere where they value there customers amd if they mess up they do the right thing not keep your money for something you did not want or pay for.

Many thanks to the 12 year-​old boy who directed me here, ’cause Diamond is awesome. I can’t speak to the hair, wigs, or beauty supplies, but the selection of $ 1 jewelry makes the Compton Swap Meet look like a joke. TONS of earrings (like, a thousand different pairs) in every color you can think of. A lot of them are pretty big for my taste, but for a buck, even if you wear ‘em once, so what? Also bracelets, hair clips, other stuff. I didn’t even realize they were all a dollar and chose really carefully, then was more than pleasantly surprised at the register. Meaning I gotta go back, ’cause there were some lightning bolt earrings I should probably buy.

Great beauty supply for whatever you need. They have a nice size selection of weave, wigs, $ 1 costume jewelry, all kinds of ethnic hair products, and much more! The store is well kept and all the employees are cool and will help you if you need it. Love this place, worth the drive!

This place is great! They have a HUGE selection of accessories, purses, makeup, and everything for your hair needs. The staff is always helpful when I’m there. You also get to spin this little wheel they have in their when you spend over a certain amount… i think its $ 20 or $ 30 dollars, not exactly sure, but you get a free item in the store like earrings or lip gloss… nice little touch, that’s how you attract your customers, who doesn’t like freebies. lol Love this place…

You should be able to find every thing you’ll need in the beauty world at awesome deals! Already with so much discounted jewelry and wigs, they now just opened a very NICE hair professional hair salon next door to the beauty supply store too! I definitely would want to come back here just for a beautifying day with my friends~*

I like this beauty supply. It is large and they have a good selection of items. They also have a large area of cute jewelry/​accessories for only $ 1.00. I say if your looking for it they have it. I don’t really comparison shop but I think they have pretty reasonable prices on hair care products. And I have never left without getting what I came for. The cashiers are usually friendly and helpful. But they do need to turn the music down a little. On more than one occasion when I go to the counter to pay someone was holding up the line to buy hair. If I’m waiting to pay and someone is still selecting hair than let me pay and move on and you can get back to the person who is indecisive about what type of hair to buy.
