I came across this place and it’s parent store a few years ago and I am so glad I did. They are the trend setters in men’s footwear. Their selection is great and the staff is very helpful. Four stars only since they can be a bit pricey… but you get what you pay for.

Great selection great service. The wife was here before me, and told me to make the trip. She found a pair of wicked Paul smiths but was encouraged not to buy for fear of fit.
When I came in I mentioned the wife & he remembered her and the exact shoe. That is service! Rare indeed.
(Ps: the smiths were on sale, and are now on my feet)

Too many generic nike/​adidas shoes got me down. An offspring of Douglas Fir, the four week old store is a sorely needed men’s accessory in LA.
Shaped like a shoe box, the store retains much of the original wood flooring centered by a beautiful, long wooden bench. Inside is an international collection of casual shoes: Commes des Garçon, Pirelli, Paul Smith’s, Yohji Yamamoto, YMC, and limited ed Vans. They also have a première selection of bags, socks, watches, and hats.
Douglas Fir is going to make all of LA look down; down at our footsies.
