Where do I start. When you see the sign and where it is located you don’t think much of the place other than they just provide you a massage and then you’re on your way out. Well I was definitely wrong. The massages are amazing but what really makes Desuar take it to the next level is the amazing and caring staff who greet you right as you walk in and provide you with a beverage of your choice. The waiting area is relaxing and calming. I can’t stress enough how professional and caring the staff at Desuar are. Starting at the very moment I make an appointment they are always flexible and accommodating. I have gotten a swedish, deep tissue, and lymph drainage massage. I have also gotten a facial there. I met with Dionte, Dina, and Deisy. All three did amazing work and I left my treatments relaxed and happy!

Just left the spa feeling so relaxed. Dina gave me a very calming and releasing massage for an hour. Usually I feel pain after massages but this one was the perfect touch. The massage room was also nice and relaxing. I def will come back.

The location is a bit funky but the service was great. I say ‘funky’ because its on the top of a building and very tiny — not what you think of when you think of a «spa» — but they told us that they’re moving to a bigger location soon. Regardless of the location, my experience here was really good. While walking around I spontaneously decided that getting a massage would be a nice way to relax on a Saturday afternoon. I called and they just happened to have had a cancellation and fit us [my boyfriend and I] in right away. Dionte was my masseuse and gave me a great massage — focused on the areas that needed attention while relaxing at the same time. The service was great and everything felt really comfortable. After leaving I couldn’t stop talking about how great I felt!

Recently I had a massage with Dina at DeSuar Spa. Not your typical massage but the benefits were undeniable. She took out a lot of tension and since her work (I’ve seen her twice) I have been sleeping much better. Whenever I visit LA, a massage or 2 from Dina will be on my must do list!

The DeSuar spa is a hidden gem in DTLA! Above the 12^th floor the spa is a great place to get a massage or facial and get some work done on the open rooftop patio area. I greatly appreciate the flexibility of the staff as they’re always willing to make accommodations for my hectic schedule. The services are outstanding and consistent — especially the renew facial and reflexology massage.

Came here with some friends to have a girls day in DTLA. We booked massages and I had to wait as there were only two rooms available. Not a big deal as I knew from other reviews that the place was small. The front desk person was nice and gave me some wine while I waited.
When it came time to my massage the masseuse was too chatty for my liking. Also, I found it strange that I would feel her pressed to me at certain points during the massage and then she place her hand in between my breasts and starting breathing heavily at another point. Maybe this is her normal technique but I’ve never experienced that before. My friend had the same masseuse right before me and said she didn’t do that to her. At the time we all had a good laugh about it, but upon talking to others I’m really uncomfortable with the whole situation
I’m understand that massages are always different as people have different problem areas but I can’t put my head around her hand placed there.

This place is conveniently located downtown, has a zen like relaxed vibe and is a great value for the quality you get. I like deisy the most, as her hands are very talented and the stretches she performs are like a yoga session without the work. Highly recommended, and I am a regular.

Amazing new spa in town. The owner Daisy is so warm, gracious & welcoming. She makes you feel like part of her family. Her massages are excellent. The spa is cozy and adorable. It’s a must visit! You get plenty for your $! Don’t miss out.

I went to Desuar Spa last week for the first time and I had a really fantastic experience. I got the hydrating facial and added on the face peel and the eye mask. The quality of the products that they used were really fantastic. I could really feel the difference in my skin and people were telling me that I was glowing afterward. My face actually still feels rejuvenated and I think it’s already been about 5 days!
I also got the waterless/​eco friendly fully body exfoliation with the cellulite treatment and a slimming molding message that used a «phytomer couture mash». Since the scrub is waterless, you’re not being slathered with heaps of cream so don’t expect that. I don’t think the cellulite treatment reduced my cellulite or anything, but it still felt really good. I felt so pampered the whole time.
The owner, Deisy, who is a total sweetheart. You can tell that she’s super passionate about her business and she goes above and beyond to make sure that you have a good experience. She even Snapchatted moments of my treatment for me LOL.
Note that right now, they are in a temporary location, but they’ll eventually be transitioning to a facility nearby (I think she said it would be across the street from where they are temporarily set up). You’re going to have to climb a flight of stairs after getting out of the elevator to get there and the bathroom is back downstairs on the first floor or something, which isn’t the most convenient, but your treatments will rock your world just the same. I highly recommend this place!

My experience at Desuar Spa was fantastic. It is tiny, clean, and all the staff I encountered were suuuper friendly. As for my treatment session, I had the deep tissue massage with Deisy Suarez and it was A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G. She did not hold back and I love that. When I go for a massage, I am not there for a relaxing spa nap with some light rubbing. I am there for my sore and stiff muscles to be ground out with painful precision. And that is exactly what I got. I am beyond pleased and I feel bloody fantastic. Thank you Deisy!

Deisy is AMAZING. She’s really sweet and friendly. She gives you all the information you need and tips to help your skin. She takes her time with you. My face already looks better. I also got a back facial which was very relaxing to the point I fell asleep for a bit. Highly recommend. The only problem I had was parking but next time I’ll just über it!

Awesome place to get a massage! My roommate saw a sign out front and told me about this place. I called and they could get me in the same day for an appointment. The massage was amazing and everyone was very welcoming. I highly recommend this spa.

Wow! Imagine if someone built a spa in a tree house — in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles!
Deisy Suarez did just that and I couldn’t be any happier!
Located on 5^th between Main and Broadway — in the Penthouse of the Chester Williams building. Even making your way from the elevator to the private stairwell makes it feel like you’re on an adventure before you even begin!
Then when you arrive… there’s a small waiting area where you’re made to feel at home immediately and then two intimate rooms where you can get anything from a massage to microdermabrasions to waxing (No surprise that I passed on the waxing. But the woman I met in the waiting room swears by them and that’s good enough for me)!
I can rave enough about this place — such a find!
So when you get tired of walking the Historic Core, sifting for literary gold in the Last Book Store, or enjoying everything else that makes DTLA so awesome… be sure to check out this awesome new spa!

Finally an amazing Spa in Downtown Los Angeles! Great location, great place and the services are superve. Within walking distance to all in DTLA. Their menu has something for everyone! If you prefer the facials, like I do, be sure to ask for Deisy Suarez! Btw they always have amazing specials.

Not handicapped accessible. It is two flights of stairs above the 12^th floor; the elevator only goes up to the 12^th floor and a sign outside suite 1209 tells you to keep going upstairs. I went back down to the lobby and asked the doorman how to get up, and then the doorman said that access to that area isn’t even allowed and he then started asking me a bunch of questions of who I was trying to visit and if she was operating a business without permission!!! This all seems rather sketchy

Great & friendly staff! The rooms are so cozy and warm. I got a facial and my face was glowing after and was extremely soft! Loved it!

De Suar Spa is the best spa in DTLA. The owner Deisy is so knowledgable about skin care and what products she selects to use on your skin. I received a facial and she customized my facial and gave me what I needed. I had dry skin due to the weather and not really being on a good diet and she left my skin glowing. The ambiance of her spa is so boho chic and relaxing. Once you try Desuar Spa you will be hooked. Finally a spa in DTLA that serves amazing service to feel and look beautiful.

Omg my skin is glowing, by far the best spa in Los Angeles. LA traffic is a nightmare and I arrived about 20 minutes late for my appointment. They already took another person in and I was expecting to be turned away and reschedule. Instead, Daisy gave me a cold glass of champagne. They have some grand opening specials so I chose to get a quick massage while I waited for my wax appointment. It was absolutely wonderful and relaxing, completely took me to another world. Of course, getting my whoha waxed right after woke me up. Very friendly, professional and affordable. I even got a call in the next couple days thanking me for my visits and followed up to make sure I didn’t have any concerns. ZE BEST!

DeSuar Spa Boutique is the BEST massage and wax place in Los Angeles period. With great customer service and amazing treatments, DeSuar Spa Boutique is a place to go to relax and unwind. I have back pain and when i went the pain went away & stay away. If you are a fan of quality and fantastic results than be sure to go to DeSuar Spa Boutique.

I received a facial treatment yesterday evening from Deisy, and I must say my face has not felt this great in so long. I had an acne breakout and today my face is recovering fast and glowing! Great staff, very courteous, kind, informative and peaceful environment! Thank you Deisy! I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family and encourage them to do the same!

Lovely intimate location, so warm and inviting. The staff was extremely friendly so I immediately felt comfortable. They have a variety of services, but I tried the full body scrub. My skin has never felt so clean and SOFT! I definitely recommend DeSuar Spa to everyone and look forward to coming back!

Small cute private salon with the greatest staff and amazing products and services offered. 100% recommended! Just got the microdermabrasion facial and my face has never felt or looked better!
