Denny’s

On 5÷31÷2016. The service was really bad there was one waitress working even though I saw at least four other wait staff in the place. The Manager or the the male host was rude when I pointed this one to him so we just left. My money spent just as well at Giamela’s over in Los Feliz.

We ate here this am and the service (by Marisol) was exceptional even though it was very crowded due to Mexican Mother’s Day. Food was typically Denny’s…good. Wife’s quesadilla was very good and my «slam» breakfast was very acceptable. Will eat here again when in the area.

Each time I come to this Denny’s I feel energized. It’s a trendy venue. The servers are all high-​energy. The food is consistently ok. On weekends, the wait for breakfast or brunch is long. Parking is almost always full. I like the items in their value menu~

Always slow, always when I go eat there at night it s people are slow and forgot what u order, always place to sit and park, fine bathrooms, food not so good sometimes seems old and not so fresh. But it works 24 hours so we got no choice, also food seems kinda too oily

well this dennys has been around since i was a kid and probably longer.
They finally got rid of the carpet and cheesy 50s diner décor. They are definitely not a place that gets packed during the day for lunch or dinner, but is popular in the mornings and late nights. You know breakfast grub in the am as well as breakfast grub at 2am! Its open 24 hrs so the possibilities are endless.
the food isn’t very glamorous and borders on being bland with a hint of flavor at times. However, its ok. You cant go wrong with the classic breakfast and the prices are always ALWAYS decent.
My favorite over the years have been the club sandwich, side salad with ranch, and pretty much their breakfast skillets.
the service has always been friendly and i give props to dennys for always updating their menu

Came here on a Thursday when I was doing a long commute between Ventura and Orange County. I really needed a break from driving so I stopped here.
The menu isn’t any different from other Denny’s and I enjoy their food. It’s good quality for the price you pay. I was seated quickly and my server came by to ask for my drink menu. She gave me a few minutes to pick my order, and then came by. I had a few customizations and everything came out perfectly. Then she brought me my shake in a to-​go cup so I could have it on the way home. I was able to check out quickly at the front as soon as I walked up.
This location is nice, may have been recently redone. It’s one of the cleaner Denny’s I have been to in a while. I’ll come back if I need to stop on the way home when making a trip to my satellite office again.

Living pretty close I come by often but never on peak hours. Service can be slow depending on which waitress you get. Food is pretty good compared to other Denny’s. There have been days I walk out just because it’s way too slow and others I have received my food within 10 minutes of me entering.
If you get there at peak hours good luck but if not you should be good to go.

Although the reviews are not soo great I come here almost every single sunday. I use a coupon that I get for shopping at the local Vons, soo I cannot beat breakfast for 2 for $ 15 :).
Service can be slow but only because there are alot of people. Overall it is not as bad as people say it is. I would definately recommend it :)

Our drinks were dropped off and we were ignored. Surrounded the whole time by dirty tables. It was not busy enough for our food to take 30 minutes. 1 coffee refill the whole 90 mins we were there. Side salad came out after the well done steak. The steak wasn’t cooked all the way threw and the potatoes were cold. I do not ever bitch publicly like this but when we left we waited another 5 to 7 mins to pay. I spoke with the manager about my concerns and she could care less.
I am not one of those customers that thinks they know how a restaurant should be run because I eat out so much… I am indeed a restaurant manager!!! I know when servers lack customer service skills and when a manager has no control over the team. Sorry but this particular experience gets no credit from me. If the manager would have acted like she cared maybe it would have ended differently.

I love coming here especially since i get coupons in my emails. The food usually comes out delicious. One time i had an issue with a waiter. Me and my fiancé had went with 3 other friends. She was not really attentive I kept looking at her just so i can get a refill on my drink and coffee. Took awhile to take our order as well and was not really polite. So we did not leave her a tip and we left before our friends did and she tells them that we didnt leave her a tip. You were never there nor attentive why should i give you a tip. If you hate your job so much just quit. Anyways other waiters are usully nice and attentive when i come with different people so for that i rate 4 stars. The pancake puppies are delish and my fave is the chicken loaded skillet.

Went on a Sunday night for late dinner, the wait to be seated was 20 mims, and when we got seated the manager told us it might be a while. Now the resturant was busy but nothing crazy for 3 servers and a manager. When we finally saw our waitress and for drinks it had been 56 mins!!! Understandably we were upset at the rediculas wait time, but are waitress apologized and brought out the salads 5 mins later… just as we were debating leaving as it had been over an hour now and still no food.
When the food arrived it was delicious and we almost forgot how bad the wait was.
So Monday night we tried again, same dam resulsts… we had to seat ourself and after 10 mins nobody addressed us we left
Can’t give business to that shitty of service.
Hope their regional manager reads all these horrible comments about this specific Dennys and does his job!
Otherwise dennys is loosing lifelong customers!

Super slow service here. I see ¾ waitress and man the service is slow. My burger egg (over easy) cooked while I was waiting for my side lettuce and tomato. It’s like wow that took forever. Food was good but just waiting for what we needed took forever. Even the birthday ice cream took forever. Guess they had to churn that cream.

Nice restaurant which has been in this same spot for years. Great for breakfast. Pancakes are decent.

There are some decent things on the menu but beware of a few things:
the service at this location is really slow
don’t get the mac and cheese side. Saddest mac and cheese I’ve ever had. It came on a plate, which somehow made it even sadder.
Semicold pasta with some alfredo sauce lazily drizzled. ew.
the nachos come with the kind of meat that comes on chilly dogs at weinersnitzel
maybe just stick to pancakes and skillet meals

Painfully slow service. Granted it’s late, but the restaurant wasn’t very busy and there were several servers working.
We had to wait about 25 minutes before someone showed up to take our order. Another 15 before our drinks arrived. Another good 25 before the food finally came.
Then when it came time to pay, it took them another 25 minutes for them to send someone to the register.
Needless to say, much of my time was wasted…

I just came in here to have brunch with my two kids and my bf.
I’m super disappointed.
We ordered some food from the menu and it has pictures too and when we got it, it didn’t even look exactly what’s in the picture.
The food is expensive.
The quality is bad.
The plating is plain and it didn’t even look presentable.
The test was ok.
Our server was nice but she’s too busy to give us water.
We asked two waters and she gave us one.
Sigh.
I usually come here before but everything change, the menu change, the servers and the food too.
I posted the picture and says it all.
I will not bring my family here again.
By the way when I was paying they asked for the tip.
Well don’t worry I put some tips on the table ok even though We didn’t have good experience.

Been here a few times in the last few weeks to spend time with my grandma and I think they do a decent job, Yea the food can be okay, but what do you expect when your meal depending how hungry you are starts at $ 2?
Servers have been okay so far, can they be faster? just maybe. If you want better service find a smaller restaurant.
Parking is plenty but with Pollo Loco on the same property you might find yourself parking farther away from the front door.

Was going to eat here, but left. If the bathroom is any indication of what the kitchen is like then be prepare to get sick.
Upon arrival no one was at the front waited for 5 mins before walking into the seating area and was told by a young waiter «be with you in a minute Boss» as a matter of fact I was called Boss several time, sure I’m
Older then the kid but I find being called Boss disrespectful. How about welcome be right with you Sir.
Anyway after going into the men’s room to wash my hands and seeing how dirty it was I wasn’t about to risk my health. So we left without ever being seated or helped. well so much for trying a new place
