I received horrible service today in the drive-thru, the drive thru teller was very short with me over the speaker sighing as i requested additional items, which cause me to forget to order a drink with my order. While at the window she attempted to take my card out of my hand while i was speaking to her regarding my drink order. At that point i figured that it wasnt a good idea to eat at a place who treats their customers like that to their faces, so i drove off never to return again. She needs more training and if she’s not having a good day she should not work drive thru.

I notice at this del taco some of the employees do not have on appropriate head gear or gloves even. I just feel uncomfortable with my food being made because anything could happen. My burrito was wrapped wrong but that’s okay because having my $ 1 strawberry lemonade made it worthwhile. I have to take off stars for no headgear and gloves on some employees but del taco has some really good deals

I was starving and I didn’t feel like eating McDonalds so I went to this Del Taco, which I’ve had troubles at before but I thought 3rd times the charm! Wrong. This time was the worst. They took 3 minutes to even say hello at the box(I was blocked in or I would’ve left). Then the guy garbled at me to wait, then yelled at me the whole time. He didn’t get my order right. The other girl that was there came up and asked me for money for an order that wasn’t mine and then got mad at me when I said it wasn’t mine. The guy practically threw my burrito at me and when I asked for my coke, he said I didn’t order one. I asked them to get me a small coke and they said it would be $ 2.19. Definitely not the price of a small coke. Then… When I got home I looked at my receipt and they actually did charge me for the coke!!! To add insult to injury, the chicken in my burrito was under cooked and I can’t eat it.

Just finished a double del with bacon, cheese, grilled onions and guacamole, deliciousssss. The fries were fresh and crispy and the drink was refreshing. My stomach is satisfied and my mind is at ease. Happy Sunday!

I didnt expect to actually really enjoy going to del taco but I do. On the weekend eveings/late night the drive through line is crazy but its the weekend, who cares? The staff is always so accommodating and so damn friendly lol I mean come on. I work in the service industry and I’m not even that nice. Lol not all the time. Food is accurate and prompt. Everyone is professional. The store is clean. I’m a fan. I love their Turkey tacos and soft chicken tacos. Macho fries are good. I could eat here all the time. Their beans are bomb

I promise this is the worst Del Taco I’ve ever been too. They always take forever. Been standing here for 10 minutes and still haven’t ordered.

Turkey tacos with no pico de gallo with the cheese next to the meat! So perfect I could eat them everyday and they only charge me 89cents per taco! They are supper nice at this establishment and they normally get my order right! Thank you guys for making my late night taco fix a wonderful experience!

So if you’re over 30, you can’t really just hang out at Del Taco. But the food is actually really good & the people are very nice. They also have healthy options. The Fresca Bowls are delicious. The problem. OMG Do not come here unless you have 20+ min to spare. They are slow as heck! Maybe it’s b/c I tend to come here as a last option, I’m always here late. After 9 pm usually. So I don’t know if the problem is that they are understaffed at night, or what. If that’s it then management aught to be ashamed.

In the past couple of years that I have visited this del Taco location only maybe perhaps once did I go inside to purchase my food. Other times I have used the drive through at various times of the day and night to get my fix of Del Taco as per the service sometimes it’s a hit and miss because you can either find yourself a long line or short line of people trying to get food. This place is popular drive thru wise! As with any Del Taco I recommend the chili cheese fries and the shrimp tacos when they are available you will not regret getting them and will be hooked forever as I was… and let’s not forget Taco Tuesdays on both Tuesdays and Thursdays from what I think is 11 a.m. To 3 p.m.

Super slow drive through. Ordering inside can be slow too. But the food is so good. I’m torn…

my quest to truly know the LA burrito scene lead me at last to del taco, or as I like to call it, «of the taco» obviously going into it i had little hope for the franchise so quickly snubbed by locals i had interviewed. however, this establishment was clean friendly and my food took less than 8 minutes from order to bite. i also sampled the 59 cent taco. Now I have a deeper understanding of why that taco is 59 cents. Enjoy it while it lasts! If science is right humanities years of making cheap meat may soon be behind us meaning this ground beef may soon be grount seitan meat substitute, but i’m getting ahead of myself. Re. the burrito, i can’t honestly say I have had worse burritos, though I have had more disapointing ones. It was not rice or bean heavy, which I find is the easiest way to spoil a fine burrito. However, it didn’t have much of anything that knocked me back with standard burrito deliciousness. I tried the chicken chipotle ranch burrito, which some say has bacon, however based on evidence before me this seems to be more fancy than fact. homogeneity was not the burritos strong suit, so a couple of bites blazed through with a tastey ranch tang or a spicy chipotle flavor, however most of it seemed to be a white rice mash with vague chicken flavor and the strong taste of cheap chedder. I’m not one who believes chicken is very flavorful, and so no grudge is held there, but cheap cbedder is most of the reason i tend to avoid cheese completely. furthermore, this burrito commited a grave comida mexicana sin, the burrito had old iceberg lettuce. That particular flavor will always remind me of elementary school cafeteria food, which is not something one wants to ever remember. overall though the burrito was better than the reviews i have heard before, and the establishment was doing exactly what it needed to, so the three stars I believe are well deserved.

My 2nd visit this month and this location has the slowest drive-thru ever. The prep of food and other items seems to be fine but the speed of processing and movement from customer to customer needs to pick up!

Nothing special, but decent service, and food as so so. It had no line at 12:30 as apposed to everyone else being packed in the drive thru in the area.

Worst thing about this place is I get hit up for money every single time I go there using the drive through. It’s OK. Last time I went there was a really rude and dismissive woman working the drive through, but most of the time, the staff is very pleasant.

I hate to give this place 3-stars but I have to. Let’s go with the good parts first. The staff was very friendly and nice. The inside was clean, no mess on the tables or floors. Everyone smiled however I waited 25 minutes to get my order. It wasn’t taco Tuesday or anything and my order was fairly small but the amount of time I waited was a little annoying. I was offered a free drink for my wait, which is always nice BUT… I hate to say this but I doubt I will be visiting this Del Taco anytime soon.

Glacial slow service. Staff is so busy talking to each other about their plans after work they forgot there are customers waiting. Love Del Taco food… just not this location. I can see people flying through McDonalds across the street. Sigh.

This is by far the worst Del Taco I have ever been to. I have been here so many times and giving them so many changes. I really close by and sometimes I just end up going here because it’s right there. However, because how horrible their service is and food, I have stopped going here for a year now. I went recently and still the same. The drive thru is horrendous. Expect a long wait and also expect to have a lot missing in your order. I think people have caught on because I don’t see super long lines anymore. LOL I drive by a lot and shop at the Superior and Rite Aide. Yup plenty of parking but I almost never eat inside. It’s always so messy and the tables seem dirty. The bathrooms are down right disgusting. Trust me, I’m okay with bathrooms because I understand the traffic and it is a public bathroom. But trust me, it’s horrendous. Hold it and go home. LOL The best Del Taco in the area is the one on Robertson and Venice. Food is fast, Staff is SUPER friendly. Fries are always hot and fresh. And they love to give extra sauce without the attitude. They ask if everything is okay vs this Del Taco that just gives you the … UGH what else do you want attitude. If not, you are better off going to McDonald’s across the street or bad food Taco Bell down the street. It’s still better than this Del Taco. It’s too bad because I am a Del Taco fan but a hater of this establishment. I’m surprised Corporate hasn’t gotten on them for the quality of their food.

I’ve only been to this Del Taco once before, when it first opened years back, I usually go to Taco Bell. I just got off work and was on my way home, I didn’t want to cook myself something so I decided on fast food. I was going to go to Jack in the Box but the drive-thru was long and I didn’t want to wait. I saw Del Taco and thought to myself«hey, I’ll try it.» I ordered the Bacon Ranch Chicken soft taco and the 2 for $ 5 Spicy Grilled Chicken Burritos, I also ordered a strawberry lemonade but I didn’t get it nor was I charged for it, so eh. I am getting a bit thirsty though. The order taker at the drive-thru was rude, in my opinion. I ordered and said«okay, pull up to the first window and I’ll give you the total there.» While many places do that I would like to know how much it is. A while passes and I haven’t moved, the car is front of me is still there and the order taker comes back on the speaker«What can I get you?» I told her I had ordered already and she asked what I had ordered. I repeated my order to her; burritos, taco and lemonade. She cut me off before I got to the lemonade, maybe that should have been my warning that I wasn’t going to get anything to drink. I get to the window and she once again asks me what I ordered and asks if I ordered a fish taco and stuff. I told her ‘no’ and what I had ordered, once again. She tells me the total I pay and I wait a bit for my drink but she doesn’t give me one. I was going to tell her but she wandered off somewhere. I looked at my receipt and noticed she didn’t charge me so I drive off with my food. I get home and take my food out, the taco wrapper for some reason has a «fish» sticker on it so I had to inspect it — it was chicken. I work in fast food, I’ve worked drive-thru and it isn’t that hard to do — unless it’s super busy, which it wasn’t. I shouldn’t have had to constantly repeat my order, get cut off while speaking and miss an item that I ordered — though I didn’t get charged so it’s not too big of a deal. I might go back, I might not. The food is good, for fast food standards, but the service could be much better. Honestly, I might just go back to get the strawberry lemonade… though I’m currently thirsty so that could be clouding my judgement.

Don’t hate– you KNOW it’s better than Taco Bell at least!!! Growing up in Pasadena, there were more Del Taco locations anyway, plus my mom(wisely) seemed to question the quality/flavor/safety of Taco Bell. And I must admit, even after drunken college nights and all the ridiculously cheap deals Taco Smell usually offers, I still crave my Del fix. This location isn’t very good, but it serves the purpose– hence, only 3 stars. I LOVE the Del Classic Chicken Burrito. Simple, yet satisfying. You get nice chunks of grilled chicken, lettuce, some diced tomatoes, cheese, and a dash of their cream sauce. Top with some Del Scorcho sauce and you have a creamy, spicy treat, with real chicken. The Chicken Soft Tacos are just as good really, and if you go on Taco Thursdays, you can get 3 Chicken Soft Tacos for only $ 2.09. Oh yeah. Other items I like: the Fish Tacos are fresh and yummy, and come with a little wedge of lime. They also just brought back Crispy Shrimp(in tacos and burritos) for a limited time, so so try them! Last but not least, my family, especially my brother, is a fan of their basic Chili Cheese Fries. I introduced the bf to them and he was instantly addicted too. Crinkle cut fries, meaty chili(no beans), and topped with freshly grated cheddar. Yum. Join the Raving Fan E-Club and they will regularly hook you up with coupons for free stuff– like a free Ice Cream Shake on your birthday every year, yay! *Photos to come, when I haven’t wolfed down my food already.
