Yeah, the guys ain’t cutting it on the Miracle Mile — the meat that is — and the attitude compared to the girls sucks. Only two thin slices of salami on the $ 11ITALIANSUB and the other 2 slices of mystery meat were so fatty I couldn’t eat. The third meat advertised wasn’t even in there. The bread they had before was much better and the presentation was sloppy and looked rushed, which makes no sense, because there were no other customers there! Now I know why. Which Wich up the street has wayyyyyy more bang for your buck. $$$$

:/**dogtown is still running deano’s but now out of deano’s truck** They just came to lucky and there are no more fried tomatoes,…there is a totally new menu. I got a french dip sandwich… it was good… but it’s not deano’s. The bread is different, there isn’t a single consistent sub on the menu, and the cheerful lady is gone. It’s so different it shouldn’t be called deano’s.

**Beware the Deano’s Deli operating out of the Dogtown truck*** If the smiley young lady is not there running things, it’s a real shit show. I got halfway back to my office and the wrapping started to come off my Philly cheesesteak and i notice they put onions on it even though i specifically ordered no onions. Then of course there was the real kicker — the meat was RAW. When i took the sandwich back, the guy wanted to argue that it was a ‘new kind of meat’ — the kind that stays pink and sticky after you cook it? So yeah, he wanted to argue without even looking at the offending raw meat or try to correct the situation. When i finally get back to the office i find out the exact same thing happened to a co-worker who had to return a raw meat sandwich they had smothered in mayo(ew!). Avoid if she isn’t there at all costs!

Awesome place if you prefer simple tasty ingredients and sandwiches. These guys are super nice and are very accommodating. Their homemade chips are delicious too!

Every time I see this truck I gotta have it. The people are so nice and friendly and he sandwich is perfect. I mainly get the turkey sandwich which has minimal ingredients but really all you need. Everything is tasty and fresh including their sides.

Not impressed at all. All of the strong reviews here must be from people who would also think subway is good. I ended up choosing this truck during lunch considering it was the slightly healthier alternative to the other available truck at this time. I got the turkey sandwich and after one bite I knew the disappointment I was headed towards. The bread was as stale as it gets. The sandwich was loaded with more shredded lettuce than anything else. The turkey was very mehh and the provolone didn’t do anything or me. I felt like I was just biting into a rough piece of bread with just lettuce inside. Extra star just because the people who work here are friendly and nice.

One of my favorite food trucks, especially when it comes to sandwiches. I get the hot pastrami. Italian is pretty good too

Went down to grab lunch with my friend and we stopped at this lovely truck. I got the turkey sandwich and after my first bite I thought the bread on this sandwich is perfect. I was told they fly the bread in. They had about 6 or 8 sandwiches available to choose from. the staff was very nice and I will be looking to return soon.

This place has been coming to my work weekly and never tried it. I wanted something more on the healthy side instead of the other two Grease Trucks open for business. I went for the turkey and gotta say, its super solid. The turkey is fresh and not from a package. This is a true Gourmet Deli sandwich. The only thing is I do wish they offered a whole wheat roll option for those trying to lay off the white flour. Get it and be happy.

I love this truck. One of the few places I feel like I can get a good sandwich in LA. The Pastrami is amazing although some days it tastes better than others. The chicken cutlet is fantastic and I’m still trying to motivate myself to try more of the sandwiches. Also, the girl that works the orders does a great job. She remembers my buddy and I when we go to order and does a great job of making you feel welcome.

Deano’s Deli really is as good as it gets. The level of service Erin provides is amazing. How she remembers everyones name is beyond me. I always get the turkey sandwich, so so good. I even ordered a whole once(I usually get just a half) and I ate it all no problem. Well, it was a problem because I was so embarrassed I ate the whole thing. I also get their homemade chips. Warm and crispy. Perfect.

Was a job site today and saw this truck right in front of the building I was working in, thus after visiting the on site commissary I decided that the hot pastrami sandwich that Deano’s listed would hit the spot. So as I was waiting for my order I checked into Twitter, tagging myself and writing that I was expecting some«pastrami goodness». In my mind I imagined a delicious flavor explosion hitting my lips, the overflowing with pastrami too much for the poor bread for contain. After all I just spent $ 10.50 on a sandwich alone that’s sole ingredients were pastrami, swiss, mustard and pickles. Whaty friends who ordered from the commissary grilled me about my sandwich but I couldn’t tell them anything that excited me about the sandwich. t would have been more satisfied with a sub from Subway, which would not have only been cheaper but with my quantity as well. After finishing the sandwich all I could think of was wasting $ 10.50 on something that I could have made on my own for $ 3.00 or bought at Subway for half the price but twice the meat & flavor. I saw pass on this place for sure. What I got for my $ 10.50 was an uninspired sandwich that lacked flavor and very little meat for what I expected to get.

This was one of the greatest sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. I was not that optimistic about the vegan options here, but I was so wrong — The vegan sandwich was so delicious — spicy peppers, fried tomatoes — everything was SO flavorful and SO fresh. They even let me customize, adding some broccoli rabe to the sandwich to get some extra greens. I was so floored — I will be stalking this truck in the future.

As far as your straight forward deli sandwich goes Deano’s is pretty tough to beat. Their food truck pulled up in front of my work and they saved my lunch hour in the nick of time. Was having a difficult time deciding between the turkey and the roast beef so I ordered half of each. The roast beef was warm and delicious. The real super star of this sandwich was the fried tomato! Oh my! Whatever sandwich you order ad the fried tomato and garlic mayo. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Turkey was nice and light with some excellent tasting provolone cheese. Quick, simple, tasty, and affordable. I recommend this place highly.

Came here during FYF. The line was quite long and they did a good job of keeping it moving. Ordering process was easy and the girl at the front was friendly. I ordered the philly cheesesteak. It took a while for the sandwich to come out, and when it did I was so hungry I basically swallowed the sandwich in one bite. The sandwich was ok. The meat and veggies inside were good, but I didn’t really see any cheese in there. The ratio of bread to filling was all wrong as well. The hoagie was very large compared to the amount of filling in the sandwich. Not sure if I’d stop by again.

I really like the people at this truck but I just ate a bread, lettuce and tomato sandwich with maybe one bite of prosciutto. The sandwich was called the«PLT» as in a BLT but with prosciutto. Very disappointed. I can say the Italian sandwiches good but they skimp on the meat here. Chip fries are divine. And the bread is good and scooped for you low carvers out there. But they need to put more meat on the sandwiches.

One of the best hoagie/sandwich food trucks around — they usually stop by the Warner Bros. lot and that’s where I’ve had them. I typically get their Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and the best part is their bread — very fresh and delicious. If only they came more often!

$ 12 for a foot long roast beef sandwich and 2 bottles of water. I dont know how I feel about that. The sandwich was decent, have had much better sandwiches. It’s kind of on par with Subway, but slightly better. The order took a long time to make, but that’s mainly because there were only two guys working in the truck, and the one taking orders doubled up to wrap the sandwiches. Nothing much to say really, but if they are where you’re at, and you want something easy to eat while standing, give them a shot. :)

I was sooo excited to hear that Deano’s Deli is back at my work again today. This time around I wanted to try something new. Just like before, the lady taking my order was super sweet. I really don’t know how someone can have such a bubbly attitude at all times when working on a hot food truck! Anyhoo — I went for the chicken cutlet sandwich this time around. It wasn’t as good as the turkey sandwich I had here last time, but it was decent. I happily ate it while watching an episode of Parks and Rec at work. Oh and this time I also got their home-made chips which were the perfect companion to their sandwich!
