I needed some quick cash and used my laptop as collateral for a loan. Been to other Pawnshops and this was the cleanest and nicest. Paid off the loan in two weeks, got my laptop back in perfect condition. Easy, friendly and honest. Thank you Dave Tipp!

WORST pawn shop in LA. Went to David Tipp for a pawn after a delay in my paycheck. I brought in my brand new, still in box– including all accessories– BEATS solo headphones retail ($ 200) and was offered $ 15. I was then told they only offer 30% on used items (even though my item was still brand new in box)… I promptly left and was given $ 80 at another pawn shop. A majority of the patrons here are older and pawing silver & gold. Don’t be like one of them and get ripped off.

Have tried pawning items here. Have had on multiple instances been asked to retrieve parts from my home only to return to be told that they won’t accept it anyways. On one particular occasion I brought my watch in to pawn and they asked me for the links I said ok and went home to grab them. (About a 15 Minute walk.) I return and they said they can’t accept the watch because the battery isn’t working. This was frustrating because the lady at the counter had checked the watch before I had left to grab the parts. They couldn’t have told me then they didn’t need anything I had to waste half an hour just to have it rejected? This along with high rates on loans and lowballing has led me to say I will not shop, pawn, or sell here ever in the future.

This place i went here bought a scanner and they said they tested it out but when i took it home it wasn’t capatible they sold me some very old obsolete technology i guess who ever work there bought it thinking it was still in working and it still resell able, i would not do business with them again
good thing i was able to get a refund
and if you were to buy thing there, they have a no refund only store credit
