I recently saw Dr. Zaghi because I felt like I wanted to do some minor cosmetic enhancements. I am 68 years old and although I have taken good care of my skin and do not have many wrinkles I was beginning to have some areas of facial sagging for example, marionette lines around the mouth and «jowls». Also my lips are extremely small. I was hoping to improve the lower portion of my face by minimizing the jowl area and adding some volume to my lips. He suggested cosmetic fillers. He was very careful to explain the products he was using and what he hoped to accomplish with these injections
Photos were taken prior to the procedure. After an application of topical numbing medication, I felt no discomfort during the treatment. When the injections were completed, I had only very minor bruising, easily covered with makeup, and I am sure that was due to the fact that I am on a daily regimen of aspirin, which I did not discontinue prior to treatment.
After one week Dr. Zaghi called me to follow up and after two weeks, I returned for more photos and was very pleased with the results. The response was a more refreshed and rested appearance, no more «jowls», subtle enough so that no one was asking what I had done, yet I was very aware of the improvement. My spouse was impressed with the results and the ultimate compliment was lunch with a friend, when we paid for our food, she was given a senior discount and I was not!
Dr. Zaghi is a very caring individual, and when the need arises I would definitely return for additional treatments and would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends.
