The menu is pretty simple, standard burgers and fries priced very well and an all day breakfast. $ 7 total for a combo who can beat that price in the downtown Los Angeles area for a good combo? Overall the burgers are really good, not the best but definitely better then most.

The food here is just great! It has a down home feel to it and you can get breakfast all day if you want! Their burgers are great and there’s eggs are never burned! I definitely recommend this place to anyone busing the downtown area!

Very frustrating when the price charged is different than the price on the menu.

The crazy workers at this place were rude and bizarre. It was near closing time and they kicked me out before I was done eating. Since I resisted, they threaten me and squirted ketchup all over my clothes and face. If I could give negative 5 stars to this place for their unruly behavior I would in a heartbeat.

Let me start by saying the food and portions are great. They are one of few places to eat that has a «working» rest room. The only complaint I have is that it is always dirty and I always need to clean my own table. If not for this I would give it 5 stars. I will be back though. Food is great.

My friend ordered #2 Double Burger, I ordered #3 Veggie Burger. We had the option to switch from regular fries to garlic fries. We expected nice special fried fries in garlic sauce or so but instead it was regular fries with small fine chopped garlic dumped on top. My burger was so dry, it sucked the liquid out of every single living cell of my body. The hot sauce and Tabasco were disgusting. When I removed the top of the bottle it was covered in a big crusty film. Even the sauce was already partitioned in different layers this is how long the sauces stood there untouched.

Burger was decent but the fries sucked. Came in 15 minutes right before closing at 11pm and was told by the waitress that the order had to be to go since they were closing already. Also she gave me the wrong drink I initially ordered.

They come through with the munchies! Convenient for downtown. Everything closes early there.

I stopped by a few days ago after reading some Unilocal reviews. I lucked out finding a parking spot right in front but be sure to have quarters or a credit card handy, it is $ 6.00 for an hour! The first thing you notice is the smeared, grungy windows and while there is nothing to point at specifically dirty, the whole place needs a good cleaning. It is a half hearted attempt at 50’s décor with a few pictures on the walls and a jukebox. The girl at the register took my order right away and told me about ten minutes The burger looked great but it was kind of bland and under cooked. I guess if you do not specify, it will be pink in the middle. The bun did not seem fresh. Fries were good, onion rings meh, frozen and hard. I can’t see a reason I would come back with so many great burger options in a few blocks radius. Hopefully I will have better luck before dental surgery later this week puts my best burger hunt on hold!

Great fresh turkey burgers and fries. I dont eat beef so this my in and out alternative. The burgers are good with great flavour. I love the fries as well. Nice quick downtown gem to stop for a quick lunch. Eat in or to go!

The fries aren’t great. Burgers are good though. Generally my last resort, still. Tonight I came through at 9:40, was the last customer and they closed up around me. Upon getting home I found that they messed up my order. Can’t get it fixed because they closed. Also, the hours are wrong for today. Listed as opened till 11 but they closed at 10.

UPDATE: 1:53PM7÷11÷15: So after alerting the worker last night at 2AM, she was not only unapologetic, but she actually had the audacity to give me attitude when«instructing» me to speak to the owner of the joint. However, she was unable to give his contact information and stated an approximate time of when he «might» be in today. Her name is Minuela and the name of the owner is Armen. Following her instructions and a call just now seems unfruitful because once again the owner is not available. It’s fine to not address this, but I hope you guys don’t mind me handing over the screw and the cup to the department of health since it seems you guys rather deal with them then actually speaking to me. ORIGINALPOST: If I could give zero stars I would! My boyfriend bought a single cheeseburger and a double cheeseburger and a side of fries with a coke tonight around 8:40 and we didn’t finish the soda but we did for everything else. However, when I went to dump out the coke out just now before going to bed, guess what I found at the bottom!!! A SCREW!!! Wtf?! How did this happen?! This is beyond disgusting and this place needs to shut down ASAP! The health board needs to close this joint and it’s too late to talk to anybody in the store!!!

Omg wtf I just found a screw, literally a metal screw in my fountain drink! The burger was fine but having a screw in my drink is dangerous and unsanitary.

The past year this place has gone to the dumps. The past 10+ times that I have been here the F up my order. Order a double get a single. No tomatoes get tomatoes. It’s crazy because they read the order back to you and you still end up with the wrong thing. Disappointing because they were good but they majorly slipped. This is my last time dealing with this BS.

First off… don’t walk into the bathroom… shit was so dirty the piece of shīt sitting on the rim of the toilet look like a decoration because the rest of the bathroom was just as bad. I couldn’t eat my burger because it reminded me of the prank I walked into in the bathroom!!! I got punked too hard! They thought I was some pushover nerd and they done put a piece of cramp in the bathroom for me to look at and stare at !! All I had to do was pee !! Why they gotta make me stare at a human turd right before I have to eat ??? Dtown burger fix your game because next time there is NO next time with me !!!

Simple little burger joint. Go here instead of Johnny Rockets, if you are into that sort of thing or want a pretty damn decent burger and fries for WELL under $ 10 bucks. They are open late, the food is consistent, the service is friendly… and those prices! If you are expecting Umami-level«craft burger» or the best burger you ever ate, be prepared to be disappointed. It’s a pretty standard diner burger: greasy, no frills. The menu is small. They also have hot dogs and breakfast and a few other random sandwiches. It’s a great option for a quick and simple bite with a fun, 50s theme dining room.

The burger quest continues with this spot on 6th. It has a pretty cool diner vibe with a jukebox and subway tiles. The prices are super cheap considering the area and they serve breakfast all day. The burger was piping hot and the fries were great. All the flavors were there and overall it was a quality burger. The atmosphere was ok. Worth a revisit.

Lunch time is a crazy time anywhere in the DTLA which is why I take my lunch almost at 2 pm and I usually call in to place my orders so I can just go in, pay, and leave. This was no exception, I called and ordered a BBQ pork sandwich combo and when I went to pick it up, lo and behold, the order hadn’t even been placed. At first I wasn’t too upset because the place was busy and there are only two people working. But then I was really pissed when they gave me the wrong order and then I had to wait an ADDITIONAL40MINUTESFORANORDER I PLACEDABOUTANHOURBEFORE. WTF! Did they go kill the hog to make the damn sandwich? What’s the point of calling it in? Then the girl tries to remember your order by memory and she fucks up a lot and ends up giving you attitude like you are the one that messed her up! Girl, bye! They need to get more employees if they are THAT busy all the time and they need to develop a better system to get the correct order to the correct person. Today was a waste of time. If I worked in one of those places with strict clock in times, my ass would have gotten written up for waiting on an ok pork sandwich. Never again.
