D J Burger is a hit and miss. I’ve only been here during breakfast, other than that, I haven’t had the chance to try their lunch items and unfortunately with a job change back into OC, I probably won’t be able to. The times I’ve gotten breakfast here involved a warm smile. The lady who I believe owns the little restaurant received you with a warm smile and has a very sweet personality. Therefore, customer service is great! The food? This is the hit and miss. The first time I tried this place, I got the sausage breakfast burrito. I did not enjoy the sausage in this burrito. The burrito is a large portion and too much for me to handle as a breakfast meal. I usually ask them to cut in half so I can have the other half the next day for breakfast when I get the bacon breakfast burrito. This is probably the only item that i would continue getting. I’ve had the breakfast sandwich but thought it weird that they would include tomato and lettuce with egg, cheese, and whatever meat you get. It wasn’t all that great. Lastly, I got an omelette with mushroom, bell pepper, and onion. I did not want the hash brown or toast so they still charged me the full price but gave me an orange… I didn’t want the orange but whatever. The omelette was decent until I started tasting the left over char on their grills… On the bottom of my omelette you can see the black char coming off the omelette onto the to go tray… Unfortunately, I am giving this place 3 stars because it is the only breakfast spot around the area and if you can get passed the char, odd additions to their recipes, its actually not too bad… I think. LOL Maybe its more of my hunger speaking every morning. Customer service is great though… I mean, that has a huge impact on your experience right? :)

The customer service was awesome! The staff was extremely accommodating and sweet. They made sure to get the order correct and asked questions to ensure I would like what I ordered. The cashier’s energy was so uplifting and definitely puts a smile on your face. I tried the Super Veggie Juice and it was amazing! Way better than Jamba! I can tell that the ingredients were fresh and not frozen. My partner tried their Veggie Smoothie and added peaches to it. It was equally amazing! I have not tried their food but I am sure their quality service and taste extends to their food menu as well. I will definitely be returning to this location!

Low prices, good food and great service. The owners and workers are always warm and welcoming. I’ve yet to have a bad experience here in the 5 years i’ve been going to this place. :)

Exceptional service! And I got a free coffee with my purchase. It is a bit hidden though. Remember: It’s in the food court.

Average burger joint. Gets no love in this food court THO. Ordered the double cheese burger. Fairly standard. Definitely not amazing. Meal comes with fries and a drink as usual. Tell me why every place always tries to mimic the in n out burger with thousand island dressing. Lmao. Anyways I’ll probably be back to try their breakfast food. Been to damn near every place in this food court.

Great breakfast burritos. I get mine with crispy hash browns. Made to order and always hot n fresh, around $ 5.00 and come hungry they are a meal. Ask for the homemade salsa it is very good. I always get the fresh brewed ice tea it never disappoints.

Pretty good breakfast burrito. Approximately $ 5. Large portion and made to order. Didn’t take to long to make. No complaints with me.

Located in a food court in Commerce DJ’s doesn’t offer much in the way atmosphere. What they do offer though is a large variety of burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and breakfast food. I come to DJ’s when I need to grab a quick breakfast or lunch that I know will satisfy me without breaking the bank. Today I had the BLT combo($ 6.59). Everything tasted fresh and my order was ready in about 5 minutes. My only gripe about this place is that they charge a fee if you use a credit card for an order of less than $ 5.00. Since all of their breakfast food is phenomenally priced at under $ 4.00(except for the omelettes) having breakfast there means having to pay the fee if you are like me and don’t carry cash. That said, the food is great, reasonably priced, and service is quick so I’ll definitely be back, by myself and with co-workers. Note that the food court closes at 3:00 so don’t bother trying to go there for dinner.

One of the reviewers must be confused… this joint is in the middle of a block full of industrial businesses. Anyway, we got there at 11am so almost no one in the joint… that usually scares me! Bottom line: food was great, service was fantastic for a counter style burger joint. Young lady behind the counter suggested the«Rock Star» burger because it is hand made, spiced, and cooked to order… and boy was it yummy! ½ pound of choice beef and nice crispy non-greasy fries to go with the combo. Combo was around $ 8 including tax. worth every penny IMHO. Next time here I’m going to try some of the sammiches and update as I eat :) Enjoy…

this little hole-in-the-wall burger place is in a some-what strange location. it’s located in a food court with all independently owned businesses, which is great, but you are left guessing on whether or not that restaurant is worth eating at or whether or not you’ll get food poisoning from their salad. it was a risk i took(mostly because i was hungry and already there) so i let the man take me order. i thought that he might be hard of hearing because when he repeated the order back to me; he was yelling. but while i was waiting for my food and the staff was all communicating with each other, they were all yelling. it wasn’t a noisy environment and i doubt they all were heard of hearing(including the young woman [20 years old{?}] that was –what looked to be– the prep cook.) without dwelling too much on the Yelling Staff(which I have already done) i got served in a reasonable amount of time. and the Food was great. Next time I am in that location I will try another roulette spin of flavors waiting waiting for me at: THEFOODCOURTOFTHEUNKNOWN! =Bum-Bum-BUUUUM!”

Another spot really close to work that i’ve been frequenting recently especially because they are open for breakfast. Love their grilled cheese with ham. Basic, go to breakfast/lunch item but really, really good. Must be the ham they use. They have a good grilled chicken salad and the grilled chicken sandwich/burger was good too. I’ve also tried the breakfast burrito but it was too much for me.

I’ve worked in the office park adjacent to this place for over 8 years. Originally it was a Carl’s Jr, but converted over to this independent about 5 years ago. First, the food. They have, hands down, the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever tried. My preferred configuration is ham /spicy. Their spicy salsa is of the green variety, and that pushes my buttons big time. Now, it is HUGE, so if you get one at say 9, you won’t be hungry again until 4:30−5. This can be useful if you anticipate a busy day with no chance for a lunch break, or if you maybe want to hit the gym at lunch. They also have some damn tasty burgers. I like avocado and bacon. Very fresh, nice mildly smoky flavor to the meat, and pretty quickly delivered all things considered. Second, the service. The Chinese fella that runs the place is always very friendly. I love hearing him speak Spanish with his accent. I’ve never had an issue with the quality or content of my order. Overall, it’s a consistently good experience. With the quality fall off of some of it’s neighbors of late, DJ’s is one of the best options around for lunch in this area. Give it a try!
