Has a wide selection but holy cow on prices. Waaaaaay overpriced. Buy snacks and keep them with you. Save yourself a fortune.

Had the worst service EVER at this place. My 2 year old was picking out a candy as he walked away a box of shot glasses fell and almost hit my child. As I was completing my transaction almost 3 minutes later the manager Majestica rudely approached me and demands I pay for the item that could’ve injured my child. Her approach was just as negative as the negligence of leaving a box of shot glasses on a ledge of a candy shelf. She went on to insult my child and humiliate me in a store full of paying customer including myself. When I asked for her managers card she gave me push back and more attitude.(She actually told me to get a pen and write it down… Huh??) she eventually wrote the number down. As I was leaving the store with my back turned she hollered out«Watch your kid…» Who behaves like that??? All I could say is I will NEVER shop there again and I have put a formal complaint into corporate as her behavior was totally unprofessional and unacceptable.

This is really a great airport store. I had the opportunity to meander around while waiting for my airplane. There is enough stock to keep me busy for surprisingly 20 minutes. There was a nice selection of inexpensive earings, phone chargers, postcards, books and magazines. An inexpensive selection of goodies to take home to the family.

Service was horrible, the lady wouldn’t even respond to us talking. She was none responsive when we were trying to talk to her. Never going back to her again.

***This is a decent airport convenience store to pick up a snack, drink, medicine, toothbrush, earphones, magazine, and so on; this store has about the same amount of variety as other airport convenience stores though I prefer the cleaner look and more organized layout of Hudson News*** This Crews of California is located past security so it is only available to air travelers. Parking at LAX is expensive.

I know these places aren’t designed to offer everything, but NO cinnamon gum is a CRIME! I also don’t like this question, «Do you want a receipt?» I hate that — I might not want one, but why do they ask — if I say no are you planning on adding something to it — just don’t like the question — almost makes me feel odd for charging! This is one hell of a small little place, but everything was clean and in it’s place — so I guess they know a bit about 5S :) I will most likely find myself going back, but not for gum — as they do have a lot of stuff shoved neatly into a small little spot in this terminal.

Crews of California saved my day when I was very delirious and nauseous from our early morning flight from JFK to LAX(also because I sat next to someone that was repulsive). They had pepto bismol tablets, overpriced of course, but they calmed down my stomach in preparation for our next long flight to Tokyo.

Typical expensive air port candy/magazine store. The staff was very friendly and I paid for my people magazine and got out of line in time to make my flight.

As with any airport place, it’s pricey… but got my neckpillow and a drink.

$ 8 The Economist magazine? Check. $ 3 bag of M&Ms? Check. $ 21 box of See’s candy? Check. Typical airport concessions and pricing. Typical airport concession employee attitudes. Nothing different from anywhere else.

Crowded, long lines. Always trying to maneuver around everyone and their carry-on bags to grab a magazine or book. The bottled water costs more than the vending machine at the beginning of the concourse. But this is an airport gift shop/news stand. So I suppose it’s as good as most. There’s a smaller one at the very end of the concourse as well.

Our gate was right next to this stand but they were still open at around 11pm so we definitely appreciated them being there. Definitely not a lot of food selection but they have plenty of snacks. Prices are a bit high but thats to be expected of establishments at the airport. They have books and newspapers as well. Service was extremely fast.

Need some overpriced airport goodies? Crews of California in Terminal 1 probably has what you need. Staff is friendly, and they have a lot of stuff to buy. Mouthwash, a stick of gum, magazines, etc. Not a huge place, but they’ve got a lot of stuff in there.

So I normally don’t like these airport newsstands because they’re overpriced and don’t carry cold drinks. Well, this place carries cold bottled water, which I would basically never buy, but they aren’t overpriced, at least in terms of newspapers. I bought an L.A. Times for only four cents over the cover price. That’s pretty good.

Good place to browse in between flights or by a quick magazine or book for your trip. They also have some okay last minute gifts to take back home. I got the wine spectator ehich with my hang over I did not really feel like reading.

It’s a newsstand at the airport. ‘Nuff said. I killed time browsing the magazines and got a copy of the Economist.
