I tried the falafel sandwich a few months ago and I was not a fan. Service is slow and the quality of the food is very poor, which is why it’s so cheap.

YOUGUYSSUCK! I’m waiting in line before you close and then you close in my face… Meanwhile I was waiting behind people that got served their food! I expect management to contact me… Be a welcoming business in my neighborhood or go back to Montréal!

Whoa!!! So one of our good parents treated all the faculty and staff for Holiday luncheon and got catering from this Crazy Falafel! And it was crazzzzzzy good! The Soujouk(spicy Lebanese sausage) sandwiches were grilled to perfection! Falafel was super delicious, and the chicken sandwiches were moist, with mouth watering garlic sauce, loaded to deliciousness and back, enough to keep all the evil spirits away for a year! I am so impressed that they were able to make all the food to feed 35 people, and make it on time for lunch hour, and have everything still warm and fresh! Bravo! I have not been to the store, but this is the second time we get catering, and the second time was even better than the first! Do try them out! Crazy indeed! In a good way!

This place only gets 1 star only because 0 isn’t an option. Where should I start about this fine, fine establishment… 1) The falafel was by far and away the worst that I have ever had(soggy, cold, flavorless). It might even be one of the worst meals that I’ve ever ordered, period. It was that bad. 2) The soda clearly had no syrup in it(tasted like club soda, not the Sierra Mist that I ordered). 3) When they forgot the extra tahini that I paid for, the guy had an attitude about it instead of owning his mistake and apologizing. This place is a joke; the food is TERRIBLE, and the people are RUDE. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague; McDonald’s would be a better option.

The prices have increased recently. I saw this place and decided to try it was ok the falafel was kind of bland and was kind of small compared to other places. The fries were not good at all. I didn’t see much of flavor or value for what i got.

I’ve been very fortunate to have their falafel sandwich all over the world, starting from Beirut, to Montréal and now finally in Los Angeles! Hands down the best falafel sandwiches anywhere!!! You also don’t want to miss out on the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, with the rich flavor from their homemade secret sauce!

I really wanted to like this spot, especially since my Israeli gfriend recommended it. Ordered the falafel deluxe($ 1.99). It was skinny and smallish. Balls were good but wish it came with more veggies/toppings(CA Pita’s falafel Friday deal is a much better value). Bf had the chicken panini combo. Sandwich itself was a bit overly toasted and dry. Coke was flat. Fries were soft, greasy, and limp. Cute street corner spot and cool that it’s open late, but IF I ever come back, I’ll be ordering the falafel balls. Only. **make sure your fries are cooked fresh when you order. The guy told my bf that it would take 10 min for the fries to cook(??) And gave us the option to wait. We didn’t have time, so we got leftover fries(that had been sitting for god knows how long). Is that the usual time it takes to cook fries, seems kind of long, doesn’t it???

Omg, just had their Chiken panini sandwich, sooo good. It’s not greasy, but perfectly crunchy. And has an amazing sauce. Definitely recommend it. I’ll be back for more :)

The great thing about this place is that it is open until midnight and they offer a falafel wrap for .99. Ordered the Philly cheesesteak panini which came with fries and a drink along with the falafel deluxe plate. Philly cheesesteak panini was pretty basic, had some interesting spices I’m not quite used to on this dish and the bread was a bit dry. I think this is best served over the grill top instead of being pressed. Wasn’t a fan of this. BF’s falafel deluxe plate came with 6 falafel, half a tomato sliced, ton of pickled turnip and a lot of parsley. For the place being named after the star Falafel, I would say for myself, was also OK. We got them fresh out the fryer but I feel like it was lacking in flavor. I was told by a frequent customer there are different types of falafel out there so maybe I wasn’t impressed by this type. As one person said, this place has potential. I will be back if I’m ever craving falafels late night, during the day I will head to the other side of the valley for some other kind.

This place is very good especially for the price. They opened up across the street from my office and my coworker has been going there every day since they opened. I like it but I try to stay away from carbs and its impossible at a sandwich place. Try the steak sandwich and the loaded falafel wrap. My only advise would be to have the guys wear a hairnet or hats, 90% of they’re sweating and we found a hair once in the wrap. It happens but i think hats will help a lot.

Had the philly cheesesteak today and have to say was one of the best if not the best. Before it was cupids hot dogs and only went there once and never went back. I can say now I can look forward to having lunch at this place again. If your ever in the area dont miss the opportunity to have the best philly cheesesteak in tarzana. Will be going back here again during the weekdays to try the rest of the menu. Its a small place but some of the best foods come from small kitchens. Just hope it stays this way.
