Came here while waiting for a flight outbound out of LAX. Like the name of the café, it’s in the«Courtyard» of an office building, so don’t expect to see it, or any sign of it, from the street. In fact, it seems like it mostly serves the office building, so that’s sort of the atmosphere to expect(in contrast to a restaurant atmosphere). I counted six tables inside and if it were warmer out, there were tables in the courtyard. The people who worked there gave it a family atmosphere, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were! Everyone is friendly and helpful. It looks very very clean. Expect to be well attended to. We had breakfast burritos and the like, and coffee. All was fresh and delicious. In the background, a juicer was whirring out delicious looking vegetable smoothies. I would definitely stop by again to kill time waiting for a flight. BTW, we parked next to the LAX In-n-Out burger and the Courtyard Café was only about a 3 minute walk from there.

This place has super respectable food and at great prices. I’ve had their chicken salad sandwich and it’s affordable and delicious. We also just tried the tortas and burritos and they were delish! You can’t go wrong with ordering for this hidden little secret of a spot!

I Unilocaled the area for breakfast and came across this place. It’s a delightful little café in an office building. The staff was really friendly and their choices were sufficient for a café. My highlight was the fresh pressed juice that was surprisingly colorful. Carrot orange juice that was just as tasty as it looked. *side note: they do have a B rating…

Definitely do not come here if youre looking for a healthy start to your day! Other than their freshly squeezed juices, which weren’t all that special, but their prices are affordable for the amount of juice you get. A 16 oz was less than $ 4. The breakfast quesadilla I ordered was amazing and I would definitely come back again just to get this for breakfast! It was MASSIVE and I only paid 5.99!

Looks like a family run business near some office buildings and a parking structure very near LAX. I wanted some breakfast and the reviews looked pretty good so I went in for a try. Very laid back atmosphere with a decent menu of items for breakfast and lunch(omelets, hot & cold sandwiches, and salads)… I also noticed that this place serves a lot of fresh juices … They have a nice sized juicer… so that’s cool if you want some fresh juice. I ordered a breakfast burrito that had inside it hash browns, egg whites, sausage and cheese. The burrito came nicely wrapped and came with a side of salsa verde and ketchup. Overall, the burrito wrapped perfectly and had tasted just as expected… No real thrills with the burrito but it did the job. Everything looks clean and organized here but the restaurant did get a grade B for some reason… You should keep that in mind. Overall — decent place for quick bite but I probably will not be back… 4 stars …

Hidden gem! Tucked away in the rear courtyard of the Drollinger building in between the building and parking garage. Had some time before my flight out of LAX and looking for something hearty that would hold me over during a day over travel. Mexican burrito hit the spot! Friendly family owned business with quality breakfast and lunch options. I’ll be back next time I fly out of LAX.

Landed in LA for a small vacation. Unilocaled a place for breakfast and this place popped up. Credit card machine didn’t work and I had to go around to get cash from the ATM. No problem I enjoy a walk any time. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and my wife ordered the veggie burger. Enchiladas were disappointing felt like it was frozen stuff just microwaved. Did not feel fresh. Veggie burger was better but lacked flavor. Service was great no complaints. A decent place to have a quick bite but nothing special.

Came here after dropping the roomie off at the airport. We sat in traffic for well over an hour and I hadn’t had breakfast. Found this place on Unilocal, looked decent enough and came in to try. Food here is really really good for $ 5 dollars. I actually ordered two entrees, both the chicken pesto sandwich and the chillaquies. Oh jesus, the food here is ridiculoulsy good at such a low price.

This is a great spot. It has a mom pop vibe to it which I love. They are always super hospitable and they take their time with the food, so it is always delicious. My favorite is the Mexican breakfast burrito and the ceviche when they have it. I’m so glad Unilocal led me to this spot because I never would have found it.

I’m addicted to their Mexican Breakfast Burrito(chorizo, cheese, egg and potatos!) So yummy! The chile aquiles are really good too. Shoot they even do a great PB&J! This is my go-to breakfast spot if I have a few minutes before work to grab a bite to eat. Or even if I’m just heading out on a flight and want a great grab-n-go meal for the plane. Get their Vampire juice too! It’s such a great juice to start the day off with. The staff is amazing and super friendly! Always with a smile and they take their time with all customers!

A great hole-in-the-wall lunch spot near LAX! Situated in, wait for it, a courtyard near the Westchester Village(Just look for a Ralph’s and park there), this place is definitely not somewhere you could just happen upon. It is easy to miss and seems to be secluded among the trees of the courtyard. However you don’t want to miss this place! I got drawn in by the low prices and the daily specials. They have different specials everyday. I went on a Friday and they had a tuna sandwich + soup or tostadas de ceviche. Funny thing is that I thought I was ordering the tuna sandwich at the register, but the employee must have heard otherwise. He asked if I wanted normal or a large(normal was $ 5.50 and large was $ 7.50), so I ordered the large. Five minutes later, I was handed the ceviche. I wasn’t about to go and complain, so I thought I might as well enjoy it. The large apparently comes with 3 tortillas while the normal only has 2. It also came with avocados and chili sauce. The ceviche was great, and tasted really refreshing on the hot summer day. I got up to get water, but the employee was really nice and told me he’d get it for me. I was pretty satiated by the end of the meal. I took my time eating and came out within 30 minutes. For the price and the nice secluded ambiance, I would have given this place 4.5 stars, but I was slightly annoyed that they got my order wrong. However, I would say if you are ever around LAX and want to grab a bite to eat, you should definitely hit up the courtyard café!

Thanks to the Unilocalers who reviewed this place, without them, I would have never thought to come here, nor have found this place myself. The place is situated literally in a Courtyard(across from a two level parking lot). I truly believe this is a Mom and Pop establishment and I am more than happy to support this place. They serve fresh squeezed juices, have a small menu, and have some snacks just in case you’re not in the mood for a meal. It kind of reminds me of a Café that would be located in NYC. I ordered the American breakfast burrito which had hash browns, cheese, eggs, and I chose Turkey bacon. The Turkey bacon was crisped just right without being burnt and it went from one end of the burrito to the other end. I’ve had plenty of burritos were the bacon or whatever protein is stuffed to one end and once it’s done, that’s it, you’re stuck with just eggs, cheese, and tortilla. This place did it right. They also provided a nicely mild verde(green) salsa. I loved pouring just enough each time I bit into the burrito. I also orderd a Vampiro. This juice consists of beets, carrots, celery, pine apples, and oranges. I know the fruits became room temperature due to the juicing process and the beets were a bit stronger than the rest of the fruits/veggies, but I like beets, so that wasn’t much of an issue for me. If I’m in the area again and picking up people from LAX, I will be more than happy to take them here and make their stomachs happy. I’m actually day dreaming about coming here again. Staff was friendly and very accomidating. I felt like I was at a friend’s place for breakfast, more than a restaurant. I will gladly be back.

VAMPIREJUICE + ginger!!! :D Since I fly into LAX quite frequently, I try to get their vampire juice(beet, carrot, celery, pineapple, and orange juice) and I always ask them to add in ginger! So good and tasty!!! :) Their service can be a bit slow, so I highly recommend calling in to place your order and then picking it up! There are a few tables and chairs if you wish to dine inside. I just recently discovered this small hidden café! If it’s your first time here, it may be a bit difficult to find since the entrance isn’t on Sepulveda, but from the inner courtyard of the building. Park by the Ralphs and walk in the alley(btwn the parking structure on your right & taller bldg on your left) and you’ll see a small courtyard on the left side where the café is. Their business hours are short and they’re not open every day, so be sure to check their hours before going!

Came in on a Friday morning for breakfast. Tuesday/Friday is chillaquilles day. ‘Twas my lucky day. So amazing. The spicy red sauce. The cheese/bean/lettuce goodness on top of homemade tortilla chips. Ultimate nom. Also tried a fresh juice blend. Out the door with breakfast for two for less than $ 20. Filled us up until dinner. Great little spot hidden away in the courtyard.

Try their breakfast burritos. They are huge and tasty. A little under-seasoned but I guess its better than over-seasoned right? Family run and friendly and their hot sauces are one of a kind.
