The thought behind this restaurant went something like this: «Hey we could put up a restaurant in front of the house. If no one comes, who cares. And if someone stumbles in we can just have Mom whip something up. She’s always home, I’m sure that’ll work out great!» The kid said that the revuelta pupusas were the best. I got one revuelta and a chicharon. The revuelta was pretty good. The chicharon was flavorless. No aguas frescas. The curtido was nothing but pickled cabbage. Nothing to redeem this meal. It was an aggravating lunch for a positively aggravating day.
