Made an appointment online for a polish change, which was a very easy process. The truck is right in front of the 7^th & Fig complex from 11 – 2 on Mondays. The space is really cute and clean, and the ladies working were super sweet. It was a quick appointment, but I’ll definitely come back soon! The polish change was $ 6, very reasonable, and my nails look great!

A cute mobile nail salon? I love the concept. They just started in downtown LA today, and they are clearly new but eager to get their manicured feet in the door! I got a pedi done in about a half hour after lunch; for $ 20, they did a good but basic job and have a well-​curated collection of on-​trend American and Japanese polishes. Obviously, some joys of the salon don’t translate well in a mobile environment. There’s no bubbly warm foot bath (but they do have a towel steamer) or lotions or glass of champagne. $ 20 for a pedicure is a bit too high for downtown when you can walk a few minutes away and get the whole luxurious treatment for $ 4 more. But kudos to them for creating a novel experience and capitalizing upon the mobile business craze.
