Always fresh, always amazing, always a bargain… Go here!!! Always! If you fancy the shrimp it’s well worth making them the jumbo

I got the 3 piece(2 pieces catfish filet and 1 filet of sole) with medium shrimp and fries and collard greens. First of all, I loved the batter. It’s a bit on the salty side, but seasoned well. The catfish was wonderfully juicy and done right! Filet of sole also excellent. The medium shrimp was so delicately delicious. Great ‘pop’ when you bite into the shrimp; a mark of some fresh ingredients! It was better than my wife’s jumbo shrimp, which was a little dry due to the de-vein and the thinner nature of jumbo shrimp. The fries were a bit underdone. We popped them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes to get them crispier and more well done. After that, they were perrrrfect to our liking! We’ll be back, but will most likely stick with the medium shrimp!

I passed by and had to stop cause I was starving and the service was friendly. The food was good. I wish the sides were a little fresher but I get it. I had the red snapper and shrimp which was well breaded and seasoned. The fish was fresh and it came with all the trimmings except cocktail sauce. Plenty of tartar, ketchup and hot sauce but I kind of wish there was cocktail sauce… just me being nit-picky LOL.

Shrimp is good, that’s the only one I’ve tried so far! Batter seems fresh. I usually get the combo but next time I will NOT get the coleslaw. That wasn’t very good lol. Just be safe and get fries

Pretty good food. I ordered the chicken wings and expected wings, but got drumsticks instead. Was disappointed in that. I really wanted wings. Could have passed on the greens.

Went here tonight with my boyfriend and we weren’t pleased at all. We thought we were getting a delicious fish dinner and it was the exact opposite. The fish all looked the same and tasted bland. The macaroni and cheese had a strange yet bland taste similar to el pollo loco and the red beans and rice was plain sad. They were out of potato salad but we’re glad we didn’t try it. We asked for collard greens but we’re given extra macaroni and cheese. The sides that came with the dinner were the size of two teaspoons. The only thing we liked was the store bought hot sauce and tarter sauce. Not happy :-(

i went here last sunday, sitting at my sister’s house and craving fish fry. i live pretty far from any place that sells decent fish fry and fried foods are not regular fare for me but… after sitting on the couch watching the real housewives with my sister off of arlington and adams where fish fry is a-plenty, i started craving it. i used to like rick’s on washington but i saw on Unilocal that they just had a roach infestation! eek. so i looked on Unilocal and found this place. it was eh *shrug*. i got 5 pieces of red snapper and 10 pieces of fried shrimp with a double order of fries to snack on with my sister and our children. the fries were ok. the snapper was not good… tasted like the oil was not fresh, and the fish was overcooked. the shrimp was bomb though. very good. i dunno if i’d go again… i would rather try another place to find better fish. if i was craving fried shrimp and was less than 1 mile away like i was last week, i may go just for that.

The food here is made perfect. Not heavy on seasonings and portion size is pretty nice. I’ve had fish from here over the years and even with ownership changes, this is still one of our family favorites. I’ve yet to be dissatisfied!

Delicious! We had their family pack with the red snapper and sole with sides and some more shrimp which was great. The fish, shrimp and oil all taste fresh. The batter is light but fish was fully coated. I also like their beans and rice, greens and french fry sides. The mac n’ cheese wasn’t that great but was okay

On my second visit, I tried the Sunday jumbo shrimp special and the 8 chicken wings & fries combo. Love the batter on both. The batter is fairly light and well-seasoned. Both dishes were really tasty and fresh, more so than the red snapper from my first visit. They provide tartar sauce and hot sauce for the shrimp. I wish they also gave out shrimp cocktail sauce. I’ll give the fried fish another shot in the future, but the Sunday shrimp special, wings, and fries are definitely worth a drive from the westside! Note that they’re closed on the LAST Sunday of every month.

I ate the chicken, all the fish, shrimp and fries. It’s good, nothing special. Gets the job done. Gave it 3 stars because of the batter on the chicken is fishy due to the same oil they use for the fish.

Where do I start !!! You can buy your fish cooked or un-cooked(to cook at home.) Everything is so fresh. My first time in I got three piece red snapper and wsai along with 8 shrimp. potato salad and fries. I love the batter it is light. You can really get the full flavor of the fish. It was so good my boyfriend and I went again the next day. He ended up getting chicken wings and fries. They were pretty amazing I personally don’t eat chicken wings but I will eat Collins wings! I got all snapper 8shrimp and fries… my favorite place in the LA area to grub on fish!

I wanted to get something not to big of a meal for dinner. I had herd of this place so I decided to try it. I placed my order over the phone for pick up and it was ready in 15 mins as told. I ordered the shrimp and fries and it was delicious. The portion was enough for two persons which was great. I will be coming back soon. The people are very nice. I highly recommend this place
