I don’t write reviews very often, nor do I feel inclined to. But after trying Renew Juicery today, I feel great! I got a deal on Gilt City that included a Cryo treatment and juices, and I am beyond impressed. I have tried juices from all over LA… and this is not only great tasting, but I think the combinations are so much smarter and more thought out for their effect on the body. I feel not only great from the juices, but my chronic neck and back pain seem to be somewhat better, and anyone dealing with pain knows that is amazing! Bravo Brooke and Morgan… I will be back!

new & refreshing! this new juice bar is pretty cool! i love the bright white interior and when you walk in you already feel refreshed.
i think the coolest part is the cryosauna. i havent tried it (yet) but just the idea of one at a juice bar!!!
i sampled a few juices that really expose cellery. that was the only thing i tasted in most of them.
they were still yummy though, and i’d consider doing a cleanse here.
i really came for the almond mylk though. it was a tad bit grainy but flavorful. i got the unsweetened vanilla, that tasted a LOT like vanilla. next time i’ll try the honey or lavendar. the bottles are super cute though.
the service was spot on as well. she was more than happy to let us sample various juices, explained what most of them are good for and told us all about the cryosauna.
support local businesses! i think y’all will dig this place. :)

Just tried cryo for the first time and loved it! Great juice and great employees too. Highly recommended!

Cool spot, ladies working were all really cool. Definitely a cool experience to try the cryotherapy but not sure I will head back for the price tag for 2 minutes. More of a novelty to try one time, in my opinion.

Really delicious, fresh juices. Best one? RADIANT SKIN (Apples, Blueberries, Pearl Powder, Chia Seeds, Lemon, Ginger, Cayenne) — delicious and super refreshing after a workout. You have to try it. I’m addicted!

I called on 02/​11/​2016 to make a cryotherapy appointment for 7am Friday morning. I was so happy that they were able to accommodate me so early because I had to be at work at 8am.
I got there a little before 7am and even went to fill up my tank since they opened at 7. I waited until it was 7 and no one was there so I walked into the cycling studio next door and they allowed me to go inside since they share a space. I sat in mild darkness while I waited for the employee to arrive.
At about 7:04 someone came in through the front door and she looked a little annoyed that I was already inside. I said I hope it’s okay they let me in, I have an appointment for 7am cryo. In an annoyed kind of tone she says, «yeah well, we don’t open till 7.» I bit my tongue, I wanted to say well its past 7am but refrained from commenting.
She goes over to the cryotherapy machine to turn it on and asked, «have you done this before?» I replied «yes.» She then turns her back, walks away and starts texting. She didn’t even tell me what to put on or whether to put the shoes on or not, I just figured it out. I changed into the robe that was provided and waited until the cryotherapy machine was ready.
The girl asked me if I had signed a waiver which I never did because it was my first time at Cold & Thirsty. She never even gave me a waiver which makes me wonder if they even have them available. From a business stand point forgetting to provide a waiver is kind of a big deal, what if something would’ve gone wrong?
The only thing I really liked about the experience is the fact that she did stay with me until my 3 minutes were up. We made small talk and she did offer to give me a 20% off since it was my first time but I was already using a voucher.
My overall experience was just okay and cryotherapy is not a cheap habit to pick up at an okay place. The young lady helping me was nice but definitely lacked the professionalism to handle a place like this.

Cool place! My knee and back were bothering me from running. My back was uncomfortable enough for a few days that I was about to see a chiropractor, but luckily for me I was reading about cryotherapy recently. I’m glad I went in for the cryotherapy.
My knee and back instantly felt 100% better. They felt so great that 30 minutes after going in for cryotherapy I ran 3 miles — this place is awesome and the people are great!

I had the most unbelievable experience this morning at Cold & Thirsty where I received my first ever cryotherapy session. I am a runner and had a marathon Sunday and have another this Sunday and know I needed to do something to reset my body back to normal in time for my next run. After 2 minutes and 20 seconds I came out ALIVE and SO AWAKE. I HIGHLY recommend this for any athletes out there as I can’t get over how great I feel and I am sure I will be back next week and turn into a cryo addict.

I am so happy there is cryo near me! I loved it and needed a session desperately. And, don’t even get me started on the juice bar! I hope I can do the upcoming cleanse too. I will definitely be back.

The juices are yum and so are the blondie bars! They also carry Venice Beach Salads which I’m a big fan of. Haven’t tried the cryo sauna but I’m happy to have a place in the neighborhood with healthy tasty vittles.

Awesome place ~ new in town and the Cryotherapy machine is extraordinary!
They have a fantastic deal for a month of Cryotherapy ~ it’s only been day 2 for me and I already feel the difference ~ allergies vastly improved & asthma is already feeling like a thing of the past. Brooke & Jack are super friendly and you feel healthy just walking through the door. Parking nearby is easy and they’re open 7 days a week.
I don’t Unilocal often — but this place really stands out ;)

Omg why is this so good.
The short story: best juices and almond milk I’ve ever had, period. Not cheap, but worth every penny.
I’ve bought the Lavender Almond Mylk before at Artisanal LA. It was so fragrant and delicious that I started following Brooke on Instagram. When I found out they opened a storefront, I had to check it out.
Parking is street, but I had no problem getting a meter in front. It’s easy to miss, so look for B&B Hardware; Cold & Thirsty’s to the right.
Inside, there’s a bar setup that makes you feel welcome to sit down and chat (as opposed to the in & out nature of say, Juice Crafters). Along the wall, they sell soy candles and almond butter and tees («Oh Kale Yes,» etc.) and rose facial products. I wanted to buy everything. In the back is their cyro unit, along with cute yellow rubber boots and robes to wear.
I got to meet Katie and she was super nice. She let me try the Heart Happy beet juice and the Radiant Skin greens juice with cayenne and ginger. I ended up getting the GLOW (pineapple, cucumber, apple, spinach, and kale) and the MATCHA Mylk (raw almonds, matcha, raw honey, coconut manna, vanilla bean, and ancient mineral salt). I was so excited to finally try the Matcha, since Brooke was sold out of it at Artisanal LA. Both drinks were AWESOME! They are my new addiction. I’m also loving these beautiful glass bottles you get your drink in. I’ve never cared about juice that much, especially since it has no fiber compared to a smoothie, but Cold & Thirsty is converting me into a huge juice fan. Sliiiightly problematic because these 2 drinks cost me $ 18 total — so glad it wasn’t a waste!
So wake up, stretch it out, and head over to Cold & Thirsty for a relaxed and stress-​free start to your day :)

Cold & Thirsty is Amazing!!! The Renew 100% Organic Cold pressed juice as well as the Mylk is the best in LA! The cryosauna is a must try as well! This one stop wellness shop is now definitely a part of my weekly routine!

Great local spot! I am so happy more places like this are popping up in the Mar Vista area. They are open early so its a perfect place to stop in after an AM workout and on the way to work. The woman serving me, (Katie I think?) was super friendly and generous. It wasn’t busy so I didn’t hesitate to take her up on some samples. I tried the Alkalizing Greens, the Glow, the Lavender Almond Milk, the Cacao Mint Almond Milk, and the seasonal Watermelon Chia Seed. I know… probably too many samples. But it will certainly bring my business back.
I went with a bottle of the Glow and the Cacao Mint Almond Milk. Their almond milks are incredible! I cannot wait to try more. And the juice was perfectly refreshing and not two sweet. You can tell everything is made with the utmost care and healthy foods.
They also have this thing called the cryosauna. some sort of freezing machine that is supposed to be really good for you. I plan on doing some research on this and possibly trying it out. Just want to learn more about it first!
Go to this place! You will leave happy and healthy.

This is your one stop shop to cheers your healthy lifestyle!!! They’ve got a range of well sourced local organic goods. My favorite is the Renew Juicery’s ‘Inflammation Flush’ it’s like a party on your palette! Woo
Also you gotta try Nelsons living gourmet ‘wild rice burrito’ it’s raw vegan and gluten free. Nice and spicy too .
One word CRYOSAUNA… Gotta check it out! Takes 3 minutes and leaves you felling on top of the world. So many health benefits…
A few being… Boosts collagen, anti-​inflammatory (for work out gurus especially), gives you a boost of energy, detoxifies and oxygenates the blood (whaaaat???), and cuts recovery time in half!!! Too good!

Just tried my first cryotherapy session ever and I can only describe it as feeling like someone shot my blood vessels full of liquid caffeine.

I can also attest to the cold pressed juices as being the best quality I’ve ever had – and I live in Venice, so I’ve had a lot!
I love the décor and the place is super inviting and it just made me wanna pull up a bar stool and sit and let time slow down.
Their staff is friendly and super knowledgeable. Go in, get frozen, have a detoxifying organic juice, then learn from the wealth of health knowledge these people possess.

This place is fantastic. The cryosauna is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done… pun intended. But really you feel amazing afterwards. Totally worth doing and I will be going back. Plus Renew Juice is already a favorite so this place wins all around. I highly recommend for all of you healthy people out there.

As a first time Cryo-​er, I have to say Cold & Thirsty provided a wonderful experience. I was very nervous going into the cryo sauna for the first time, but one time was all it took — I’m hooked and can’t wait for my next visit! I felt invigorated after my 2.5 minutes in sub-​zero temperatures, and as promised, continued to feel better and better as the days go on.
