Meh. I was here on a crazy long stop over and needed coffee. I bought a coffee and a bagel. Definitely pricey, but it’s in the airport so I get it. The service was okay — there is absolutely no seating inside though so you’ll have to eat on the go or crouched over a small airport seat. All in all nothing to write home about.

This Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf does not accept gift cards for Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Nuff said. Besides, if their coffee tastes like the other Coffee Bean and Tea Leafs, it would have been burnt anyway. I generally go for their chai latte or one of the fancy/sugary drinks. The iced coffee is also somewhat more palatable than the bitter hot stuff. And this is coming from someone who likes everything from Ethiopian Yirgacheffe to a French Roast black.

REALLY? possibly most ripoff coffee place in LA. I bought a Vanilla Latte, and it costed me nearly $ 8!!! I asked for half of the vanilla power that they normally would put in, the result? it was so sweet that make my teeth ache(that so called half scoop vanilla power costed $ 1.5) I had to toss the latte out, taste horrible. I understand you are trying to sell«fancy coffee drinks» in the International Terminal of the airport, way to welcome the world travelers — this is highway robbery with bad service and lousy drinks. Stay away from this coffee stand.

What can I say. They do coffee right and do it quickly. I especial appreciated that cashier doubled checked if I wanted a coffee mocha or a mocha. I didn’t know the difference and appreciated her explaining the difference in a friendly, non-judgmental attitude.

How is this Coffee Bean still here? The company in general is pretty awful, but this specific franchise really capitalizes on the fact that people have no choice but to get their coffee here. The coffee is so sweet that I question whether it’s espresso in my cup or steamed milk and syrup. I wouldn’t be surprised if the pastries are Hostess pastries jacked up in price. Never have I had a good experience at this Coffee Bean, but I do need my coffee. Would love to see this shop changed to a Starbucks.

Travelers be advised that the concessions for Alaska gates in T6 are not the best at the airport. While that may change as the airport continues its renovation, right now, your selections include a good food express stand, Monet’s, Hudson News, Ruby’s Diner and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Every time I go through LAX, this CBTL is hopping with a line 4 passengers deep. Today for lunch, lines formed everywhere so I threw a mental dart and walked in here. They have a selection of «healthier» choice brown bag sandwiches for breakfast, pastries, yogurt, hummus snack pak and beverages both hot and cold. The staff appear harried, over-worked and underpaid. The review doesn’t reflect the service as much as on corporate. However, $ 9.99 plus tax for a small sandwich is pretty excessive even for airport prices. On the other hand, none of the other concessions including the food truck that services the ramp staff offer any price relief. Until a shining new presence arrives in LAX to set an example, this double star could very well stand for the entire 60+ gate area. My egg white, kale and cheddar on multigrain was okay for a microwave job even with a staggering 1600mg of sodium. Is that the new healthy? Whoa.

Possibly the worst coffee in the world! Stopped here for a pre flight latte with my wife. Ordered 2 small lattes and was charged for 2 large… not such a big deal except that they were undrinkable. «Barista» had no clue what she was doing. Both drinks arrived tasting burnt with no foam. At almost $ 5 a coffee this should be much better. Asked them to make them again… after much grumbling they did and second drinks were just as bad. In the end we went a few doors down to Klatch for a decent drink with much friendlier service!

This is the second time this month I’ve experienced bad iced coffees at the coffee bean, I’m starting to think to avoid this place in general . Overpriced coffees and the pastries are not very good . Staff here was okay, always seems busy overall a okay experience. As for the coffee maybe 1 star I wish there was a Starbucks in my terminal

The only rescue from falling asleep in the horrible painful airport terminal chairs. I decided to go get a vanilla frap treat from these guys. It was very good, perfect icey texture to the drink and good espresso tasting coffee mixed in. A little on the pricey side though, mostly cause its in a airport though.

This Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is in terminal 6 and is the only real coffee place in the terminal. The line usually moves pretty fast and besides the pastries CBTL usually offers they also have a nice grab and go with yogurts and other meal options.

This CBTL was conveniently located near our gate terminal at LAX. Because we woke up around 3:30am to catch the Flyaway, we were super exhausted and in dire need of caffeine. There was a long ass line though! Everyone else was probably thinking the same thing. This place gets 4 stars because they got that line down with the quickness, without sacrificing service and quality!
