Probably the most understanding restaurant I’ve ever ordered from. I placed an order online for pickup before realizing that, 30 minutes later, I would definitely need it delivered. I called and ask about adding an additional charge onto my card to pay for the delivery and the gentleman who picked up simply waved this off. He was more worried about making sure I got my lunch! On receiving my order – the Sope plate with chicken and 1 side of Cilantro rice, 1 side of Mexican rice – I could smell heaven. I tucked in to the best sopes I’ve ever had. I ordered both red and green salsa, along with extra guacamole… and it was perfect! Their green salsa is incredibly delicious and I will be purchasing some exclusively for putting in my morning breakfast tacos. The red salsa is HOT in the best way possible and adds so much flavor, I would love to order a case for myself. The chicken was never overwhelmed by the flavor, but rather enhanced, and it was delightfully moist, not dry the way it so often can be. The price is also fantastic, roughly $ 10 for 2 huge sopes and very large portions of rice, not to mention the chips and salsa included with the plate specials. Several co-workers, on smelling my delicious food, asked me where I had gotten it from and I found myself simply pointing and repeating«Cilantro Lime, Fashion District.» I cannot wait to order from here again, I now expect nothing but perfection.

The Fresca Salad is amazing with the Sweet and savory dressing. The salsa with the chips was also the perfect blend of spices.

The place is very hidden, inside a food court which sign outside is not so appealing. The food is somewhat costly for what you pay for but the food itself is delicious. I will come again.

I Love the food! I’ve had the DTLA fries, the huarache, the sopes, and the haystacks. I never know whether to try something new or her the food that I love most. The portions are huge! I have tried both the regular horchata and the strawberry horchata. They are both great. But next time I will probably get the strawberry horchata because you get to eat the strawberries that are left over. The only thing I wish to be different are the hours, the location and I wish it was open on Sundays. But you can’t have cilantro lime with out its great chef. I will definitely be going back. Hopefully sooner than later. I have recommended it to my friends and family. I recommend that you try the food and keep going back to try new dishes.

I am a Cilantro Lime enthusiast and evangelist! Everything I’ve ever ordered on their menu is delicious and made with love ! Most Tuesdays I step out from the office and get some street tacos for $ 1 each. They come with chips & salsa and are unbelievable! When it’s not Tuesday and I’m in the mood for a salad I grab their Cilantro Lime salad — the dressing is so good :) What’s better than their food though is their customer service ! Tiersa & Leo remembered me and my name after my first visit ! They’re always smiling and the whole team is just great :) I always tell people that you can taste the difference because they make their food with love! Located in a food court but it ain’t food court vibes !

Pretty tasting food for being in a raunchy area! Lol the guy who’s the manager I think was very nice… shy, but very nice and attentive :)

This is my third time here and I keep coming back because the food is great every time. I shared the chile relleno burrito and cilantro lime salad and they were both delicious! Chile relleno is a cheese stuffed pepper and the burrito comes with beans, rice and salsa on the side. The cilantro salad dressing is my fave I stoked up and ordered a side of it for salads at home I highly recommend this tucked in joint in downtown LA.

Been coming here for a few months now — by far my favorite burrito in downtown. Also Leo is the man, you won’t get better service and a better burrito anywhere else. Made with love for burrito and mexican food lovers alike!!! Thank you Cilantro Lime for holding it down!

I am telling you, if you’re ever in the Santee Alley neighborhood, make sure to grab a bite to eat at Cilantro Lime. Ended up going to LA for prom dress shopping for a friend and we ended up getting really hungry. Decided to Unilocal food places in the vicinty, and this place is only 5 minutes away from the shopping area itself. It’s located in a small food court within a building, so we never expected the food to be so amazing. Customer service is everything you want it to be, very accommodating. I ended up getting Carne Asada fries and I also tried a carnitas taco. Everything was so good and filling, not too salty at all. They accidentally gave us a water bottle when we asked for a water cup, but just told us to keep in the end. They really make you feel comfortable and they also make sure you’re enjoying your meal. Wish we had something like this in the valley! Always going to come here when we’re in the area forsure!

I am absolutely obsessed with this place! The food is amazing and their customer service is on point. I have placed numerous orders for delivery and not once has there been a mistake with my order, even when I make special requests for extra salsa or no tomato(big deal to me). On top of that the delivery is fast and the delivery guy or girl is always pleasant. Today I even got a personalized«Extra Salsa» with a smiley face on my box. On a personal note: Their Cilantro Lime Salad is my very favorite. The salad is fresh, the chicken is soooo good and the portion is great. Thank You Cilantro Lime!

What a fantastic little gem. I only wish I had found you earlier. Though tucked into the corner of an unassuming International Food Court, Cilantro Lime immediately stands out as the place to eat at. The service is stellar. I’ve never had food court service anywhere close to as good as this. More importantly, the food is fantastic. The crunchy ranchero breakfast is genius. It’s served on top of nachos. What a treat in the morning. The carne asada fries are amazing as well, as is the strawberry lemonade(there are actual strawberry chunks!). I made a 1 mile trek from the Financial District, and I would do it again. Cilantro Lime is that good.

I LOVE Cilantro Lime. They have such great service, they’re quick even when it’s busy, and their food is AWESOME. My favorites: The Cilantro Lime salad, The Cobb salad(I always get a large size for salads), the tortas, and the wraps/burritos are so good. Their chips and salsa are the best, they’ve always been fresh when I get them. Oh and there’s Taco Tuesday! You get so much food for the price you pay, unlike other restaurants in DTLA that sometimes overprice lettuce and call it salad. I come here almost once a week during my work week. If you haven’t tried it you’re missing out!

Fantastic little gem inside the international food court. Best place to eat in the area. Delicious authentic Mexican with fresh ingredients and delicious salsas. Staff is super friendly as well. Tried the chicken and carnitas — both outstanding. Chicken has a deep smokiness and great flavor, carnitas are tender, rich, with the crispy ends that make carnitas so good. Looking forward to trying more!

Great little«hole in the wall.» It’s part of the food court near the garment district so finding parking is a hassle, but the food is pretty authentic. The guy who was there was either the acting manager or owner and he presented himself really good. He walked around and made sure that everyone’s food was good, so kudos to him. Food. I ordered the enchiladas special plate. It was 3 good sized cheese and chicken enchiladas and came with a side of rice and beans. Very filling. I would definitely come again. Great experience.

Have ordered from here twice and the food isn’t impressing at all. Usually use eat24 to get my food deliveries since I’m short on lunch time. First time I ordered the carne asada fries and the female delivering it dropped me off the wrong order, got enchiladas instead but they corrected it asap after making a phone call. A few days ago I felt like trying it again and this time ordered the crunchy tacos with carnitas. Meal came with green colored rice, beans, and crispy tortilla chips. For a buck more I added a salad. Carne Asada fries were ok, nothing outstanding. The crunchy tacos were ok but at one point I had some bone in one of my bites, I really don’t care but the food wasn’t great, not sure why this place is adored. Side salad was good, if I order something again that will be a salad. Staff answering the phone and delivering are great only wish their food was as well. On to the next food discovery.

Well 2016 is upon us and after careful deliberation, I have decided to give my coveted first review of the year to Cilantro Lime! **Applause, applause** I don’t even know where to start so I’ll do so at the beginning(like duh!) Cilantro Lime is one of several eateries located at a very random food court tucked away in DTLA, but MAKEZEROMISTAKES… this place is the shizznay and then some! I’ll start with service: superb! The girl that took our order was very friendly and tots informative. She explained several options on the menu and gave us the 411 on delivery. It’s a dollar to deliver… Seriously? LA Café charges me close to $ 4 to cross the street and bring me my food. Yea, bye! Food: Oh lordy. I am slow carbing so as much as I wanted to devour a torta or some tacos, I went with the Cilantro Lime salad. This wasn’t just any salad, ladies and gentlemen. Nope. It was HUGE and their chicken was marinated to perfection! It had this tangy taste and the cilantro dressing was awesome! My coworker got a sope that looked like heaven. I give her props for bring me here and even bigger props for paying for meal… hey girl! I am assuming that it was the manager that approached us as we ate and asked us if everything was ok. Good service at a food court? Like damn! We walked here but there are several parking lots and street parking if y’all need it. Bookmark this place because it is worth getting lost to find it. Per usual, let them know Arleene sent you! Not that it matters but I like my name thrown around like it means something. P. S. You can order online or call it in! Do it!

Stopped here for a quite snack after a meal in the same food court after seeing their promotions for $ 0.99 tacos from 11am-2pm. I only got one asada street taco, but after going to a much more well-known place like Casa La Doña yesterday, these tacos definitely win the direct comparison. They have better selection, bigger portions, and better quality. My brother got a barbacoa taco and equally enjoyed his. Throw chips, salsa, and lime on top of this, and you can’t find a better deal for food. I’m excited to be able to come back here and try every taco and more. On top of all of that, some of the friendliest service I’ve ever gotten from a taco stop.
