Chou’s Jewelry

Came with my husband late afternoon on Saturday.
We were the only customers around and were greeted friendly.
I was interested in a moderately priced ring and discussed
having to size it. The female sales associate was friendly but
did not seem interested in closing the deal.
When it came to the price, she only offered a $ 20 discount!
That’s how much we had to pay for parking!
Rather than selling the ring, she let us walk away.
There is so much merchandise and so few customers,
Chou’s needs to find a better sales strategy.
We have made larger purchases with other vendors but were
disappointed with Chou’s Jewelry.

This review is for window shopping at Chou’s Jewelry :). I was referred to him by my day coordinator Lilian. My fiancé and I were glancing at his selection of wedding bands on Saturday afternoon. I had contacted him before hand and we exchange texts as I asked him about copying a particular design I wanted. He was always very polite, prompt, and in person he was very patient! He was never pushy and gave his input. I really liked that he seemed down-​to-​earth. While combing through the jewelry district I ran into my fair share of pushy people and it gets really unpleasant. yay for Paul being patient and understanding of my indecisiveness :)!!

An earlier reviewer gave Chou’s 2 stars and stated that it is not located in a «suitable place.» I’m not sure what that means but knowing that they are located in LA’s jewelry district, you should know what to expect. It is downtown and you will need to pay for parking and comb through literally hundreds of jewelers. However, what sets Chou’s apart from the rest is that they aren’t pushy to sell. Paul is a genuinely nice guy, and very knowledgeable about his product.
They can custom make jewelry for you and if you’re pinched for time like I was, you can even rush order it. I had sent Paul some photos of the wedding band I wanted. He was very patient with me and even offered his own helpful suggestions. We picked it up just a couple days later and they nailed it!
As another reviewer stated, Paul really IS the man! Run, don’t walk, to Paul for your next piece of jewelry!

I have to say Paul is definitelty the man. I came here with my husband, auntie, cousin & her fiancé to pick out wedding bands. Paul was really patient and informative with helping us. He wasn’t pushy or annoyed that we were there for 2 hours trying to figure out what we wanted. It really helped that Paul knew his stuff and which type of gold is best suited for the type of jewelery. Everyone of us ended up with a ring and left happy. His prices are fair and didn’t feel outrageous. I will definitely be back for all my jewelery needs

Keep this business in your personal contact! This jewelry store is right in the middle of the jewelry district. They carry a great selection of jewelries from yellow gold bracelets, necklaces, pendants, precious stones and semi-​precious stones to every girl’s bestfriend, diamonds!!! And even better, you can get pieces customize should your heart desire it. Depending on the pieces, I must say that the prices are reasonable and competitive…
I have recommended several friends to this jewelry store and they have been very happy. The customer service is bar none.
