A super convenient mom and pop store. It’s small but has what you need with a good variety of drinks and snacks! Support your local businesses :)

Great liquor store. I used to go here all the time when I was a kid, they used to have the tamarind candies for a quarter. I still go here because they always have what I need and the cashier(pretty sure he owns the joint) is always nice and remembers you. Also there’s a taco place across the street, so you can just grab a few drinks with your friends and eat the tacos outside!

I used to come here almost daily since I lived down the street when I was younger. I would only come here to buy soda, chips and candies and would get yelled at because I would pay in coins and sometimes pennies. Now that I think back, I don’t understand why the cashier would be upset at me. I still had the money for what I was trying to buy it just wasn’t in the form of dollar bills. Despite getting yelled at for paying in coins, this place still brings back many childhood memories. I looked forward to coming here because whenever I did good on a spelling test or math test my parents would let me pick out a treat. This place is just your typical mini market that mostly locals go to. I still find myself coming here from time to time whenever I’m in the area just for old times sake.

High prices… He charges a dollar for blunts that should be fifty cents… I only go because its the closest store to me.

I like going to Choi’s Market to get some beer to accompany the tacos from across the street(see review for Carnitas Michoacan). It’s super convenient! Makes for a super tasty night! I don’t know if the«Mr. Choi» of Choi’s market is the guy behind the counter, but every time I’ve been there, the guy has always been super friendly! :)
