I have come here 6 times in the last 6 months. I generally cook my own food but enjoy eating out on occassion. Whether this place has been busy or free the service has remained mediocre. Quality of Guacamole was poor my last visit. Quality of meats seemed stagnant to me. REGARDLESSEVERYTIME I ORDERTHEPERSONHASPROBLEMSWITHPROPORTIONSANDWRAPPINGOFSAIDBURRITOS. I am embarressed to call these young people out but it has to be done! When they want to push out older food they overstuff your burrito. I will say this is my LASTTIME eating at this Chipotle. This location has potential but they need to run a tight ship or else ill go to King Taco or the taqueria down the street.

I’m giving this place one star based on the fact that the store is busy and they closed half of the seating area to «mop» 25 mins before they close. I’m with a party of 5 and there is little to no seating available. Totally unprofessional. If you are open, you are open. And with a packed store, don’t ask your customers to not sit in an area because you want to mop. Mop when you are closed… Update after I originally posted this message: The area they closed to mop, was never mopped during our 20 mins there. Before leaving, I went to use the restroom and the women’s restroom was closed because it was being cleaned… Once again, why are you doing closing duties while you are still open with a customer packed store? I obviously know staff wants to get out of there as soon as they can, I get it… But don’t inconvenience your customers to save yourself 10 or 15 mins. Bad customer service.

Average service have had some really bad experiences but also some really good experiences. The worst experience was a hair, along with freezing cold burrito that I had ordered once. The staff sometimes can’t even wrap a burrito. You often have to repeat your order to them several times also. Other than that they are not mean, and generally will get it done at a reasonable pace.

WORSTCHIPOTLEEVER! TAJARUDESTMANAGEREVER!!! I had ordered a salad and they didn’t give me any salad dressing. I called in and told them I’m missing a salad dressing. The worker(TAJA) said its because they weren’t ready with the dressing. So am I suppose to eat my salad without the dressing? They didn’t give me a heads up or anything and said I should’ve known and automatically waited for them to finish prepping the dressing. She said my order was done so I would assume everything is in the bag. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager. Honestly Worst customer service. She didn’t even apologize! Definitely will not be coming back!

Like I’ve said before, I’m not gonna comment on the food here unless you deviate so horribly from the mean that I have to say something about it. That didn’t happen here, so no need to talk about that. Instead, I would like to actually give credit to this Chipotle for NOT being skimpy on their servings of meat. It’s a far better cry over some of the other Chipotles I’ve been to, so thank you for that. Of course, since this is the only Chipotle in all of DTLA, either get here early or wait in a super long line. You’ve been warned!

I love chipotle mainly because all their ingredients are fresh and organic. I love getting their salad because I am obsessed with their dressing. I love their salted with a hint of lime tortilla chips with guacamole. I think it’s a quick and affordable lunch but you are also getting good quality food at the same time. I also love their tofu and brown rice with cilantro so good !

Back to four stars! Food was excellent the last few times and service was great. Portions were back to their usual size. Tip: If you’re stopping by this Chipotle location on your lunch hour, you MUST order ahead! Otherwise, enjoy the 20 – 30 minute line!

I came in today for lunch, long line as usual but I wasn’t complaining because the line usually moves pretty quickly. With such fast service, someone is bound to miss something right? So after waiting in line for about 15 minutes, it’s finally my turn. Everything is moving pretty quickly and the staff is trying hard to get through as many orders as possible. I get my order with guacamole and I pay the extra for guacamole and I didn’t have chance to check my bowl because they are rushing me to pay ASAP. I come back to the office to eat my bowl. NOGUACAMOLEINMYBOWL. WHATTHEHECK, CHIPOTLE! SMH…

I would like to express my ultimate disappointment in the way that the Chipotle in downtown Los Angeles has operated. They have demonstrated very little effort in ensuring orders are taken right. Complaining to managers at the store has yielded nothing more than meaningless apologies and remakes of the orders — time after time. My office has ordered here for at least 10 times. 6+ times the staff members got the order wrong. Even though the receipts CLEARLY have everything typed up correctly, time after time, the staff members have proven incapable in following instructions. Specifically, this afternoon, a couple of the items that my office ordered were missing any protein completely, one of the bowls had nothing but lettuce and tomato on a bed of rice. If any of the staff members cared to even think about the order at all, they would’ve at least tried to confirm with the customer whether that was really what he or she wanted. This level of service and lack of attention is just unacceptable.

— Limited seating during lunchtimes This location is about a 20 minute walk from my office, which is a bit far, but hey, it’s Chipotle. It is typical to most other locations, but this particular one seems to have extremely long lines during the lunch time hours. Due to its somewhat central downtown location, give yourself an extra 15 – 20 minutes if you plan to come here for lunch. The line moves fast, but once you get through that, you will have to spend some time finding a seat. The two times I’ve been here, I’ve had to share a seat with someone else. Food is good, service is fast.

This Chipotle is kinda like the jungle, especially during lunch time Even if you placed an online order you can expect to wait at least 10mn to pick it up because no one will notice that you are standing in the take out line. When they do notice you they are so grumpy and in a rush, the only thing you’re looking for isn’t your food but to run out of the restaurant as soon as possible. The food is okay, like any Chipotle restaurant However, for one of the bowl in my order, I had requested ½ chicken-½ steak but ended up with ½ steak. Well, I guess I won’t eat chicken… Parking is also horrible but it’s downtown. So I’m not surprised.

Always very fresh, delicious and a great place to grab lunch during work! I get the same thing every time and am never disappointed. Very filling and pretty healthy too.

I love chipotle. Like I could literally eat it everyday, but this chipotle Inparticular looses points with me. 1. The parking is non existent. 2. I have gone there and they have ran out of things and had no intention on replacing it.(Not cooking anymore sofritas). 3. But it’s still chipotle so when they get it right it’s perfect!

I had to use all my jaw strength to pull apart the wrap with my teeth. I don’t remember any Chipotles burrito being this much of an exercise of physical strength. Also, the chipotlista did a horrible job in wrapping the burrito tightly that eating it was somewhat of an acrobatic challenge. And why are all the ingredients(aside from the veggie stuff) cold? Ugh worst chipotles experience thusfar. Sadly, it’s the one I frequent the most due to its proximity to work. :(

The food is really good had an great time eating my burrito… if I didn’t i would of been upset that i payed so much for it hahaha. An anyways the girls at the counter were nice and in a good mood so that always good. And i loved the fact that i could see the kitchen staff working. My husband and i love to watch them actually cook food not use pre prepared food. Great place will come again

Not the same attention to detail when off– peak lunch hours. If you’re going to go, do it during the weekday. All the meats were dry and the guac was substandard each time I’ve gone after 5pm or the weekend.

If you want something healthy yet fulfilling, you gotta try their salad bowl! Hands down the best fast food salad there is! I order mine with lettuce, black beans, sofritas, and veggies. Wait did you say guacamole is extra?! Pssssh scoop some in baby! Wait, that’s it? Cmon please dig a little deeper! Ugh ok fine. I’ll pay now. In the end I don’t even need that extra guac. And even without adding the rice, I am completely stuffed at the end of my meal! It’s so fresh and tasty that I don’t even use the dressing. Yep! For real for real.

You know, I’ve been hearing about Chipotle for YEARS, and have not had the opportunity to try it until yesterday. Lots of people rave about it; the fresh ingredients, the speed of service, the ability to buy beer at lunch time and the large portions. It was extremely hyped up, and many of my friends claim it’s like the Subway of Mexican food. What is my opinion? A big«MEH». Considering I waited almost a full ten minutes to get served and paid nearly eight dollars for something I could get at least a few dollars cheaper at a taqueria, I was expecting a mouth-orgasm to occur. Watching the burrito artist make my burrito was the foreplay, but just like me in bed… it fell short of expectations. I got a chicken burrito with pinto beans, rice, lettuce and cheese. Everything tasted fresh, and it was folded properly, but that’s about where it ends in terms of positives. The whole burrito tasted fine, to be honest, but nothing about it screamed«delicious». Sure, it was filling and it was palatable, but it didn’t feel like the messiah came down and made it himself, like many people hyped it up to be. It’s honestly on par with other«fast-casual» places like Moe’s or Qdoba. I’ll give Chipotle another try and get something different, in case what I got wasn’t the best combination. I may splurge and pay the ridiculous two dollars extra for the guacamole, and maybe get the steak instead of chicken. However, with both of those extras, my burrito will come out to over ten dollars! Maybe I’ll just find a local Mexican food place instead.

I love me some Chipotle and boy was I excited to discover a DTLA location. This location definitely draws in large crowd and the line can get pretty long. Don’t fret as the line does move fairly fast. The service here lately has been really crappy. My food comes out really sloppy and dripping from the edges when I place my order to go. I once had a bag rip open on me here because they didn’t seal my burrito bowl properly. I’ve also had a couple moments where I’d ask for more veggies because they’d hardly add any to my bowl. Since when was it bad to have more grilled veggies added to your meal man?! As much as I love Chipotle, the service here definitely needs to improve!

Good eats I’ve yet to experience the horrible situations that people seem to have said happened to them at this location but I will keep my eyes open. This review is for the food, which is always consistent across the country with its recipe and quality. The location is extremely busy both inside and outside on the busy intersection, making it not a very hospitable site on the get go. I normally get my food to go to enjoy somewhere else so that I don’t have to hear the hustle and bustle of the city streets. Being from Denver and growing up with Chipotle down the block since high school, I know the taste very well. They recently added a few more items to make people happy such as brown rice and quesadillas. The food quality never seems to let me down.
