Chinatown Dental Center

If I could give negative stars I would. I only went here because I live in the area and HealthNet assigned this dentist to me. Since it’s only 2 blocks away I thought I’d give it a try. I waited over an hour even though I had an appointment. The place is extremely dated. There aren’t private rooms so you’re in the same room as everyone else. Most people aren’t speaking English. In fact, if you call, they answer in another language (not sure if it’s Cantonese or Vietnamese).
I just came for a cleaning and they looked confused — I don’t think they’ve ever seen anyone with good teeth. It was hands down the worst cleaning of my life. He spent about 10 minutes on it — normally that would take at least 45 minutes. My teeth did NOT feel clean. Needless to say I’ll be calling HealthNet and switching to a new dentist. All I can say is I’m glad my insurance covered that visit because it isn’t worth a penny.
