I am always ordering here from GrubHub and I highly recommend their service. Takes a little long for delivery but the food is pretty good and you can’t beat the price. Keep it up!!!

They’re fast and reliable, usually the food is very fresh and their veggies are never soggy like a lot of Chinese food places. Also nothing is drowned so far in sauce that you can’t taste the rest of the dish. The Delivery is nice as it’s about 1.5 miles away from my work, and the sushi is always cold and tasty! My whole office orders from them, we love them!

I live extremely close to China Wok, walking distance. I wasn’t in the mode for cooking. I had worked all day and decided to come home and clean my apartment. I had a craving for some chinese food. It’s not the greatest, but it hit the spot. My sushi was decent and my wontons had chunks of crab in it. Not, my first choice but they didn’t not mess up my order. Arrived earlier then estimated eta.

Do not eat here! I got very very sick! Not to mention it was the worst food I’ve ever had. They charged me $ 30 for 10 dumplings and a serving of barbecue duck that was rubbery and extremely dry. I was so upset I wish I could have gotten my money back! Never again :(

I wish I could upload a photo to this review, so you can understand what I’m working with here. Then again, if I did, you would lose your appetite.
After having my roommate come running out of their room because I was nearly choking to death, I can tell you that this is, hands down, the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good bargain sushi and I understand that $ 7 doesn’t buy loads of quality, but DAAAAAAMN. I ordered the Alaskan Roll and the ‘salmon’ has all of the skin and SCALES still on it. This means that the fish is INCREDIBLY fishy (possibly also from it just being really old?) and completely IMPOSSIBLE to chew through, unless you have Gollum-​level incisors. So, so gross. Also ordered Philidelphia roll and it had… wait for it… no cream cheese! Ha! It’s like the ol’ one-​two, right in my sad, sad mouth.
I don’t just wish I could get a refund, I actually feel like I should be compensated with my money back AND food from somewhere else to cleanse my palette. Good Lord. Nasty.

I was ill, and needed to eat and wonton soup sounded appealing. It was late and they delivered. I thought I would have soggy wonton’s but to my surprise it was hot and had a good flavored broth.
The delivery driver asked me to come to the bottom door of my building. Not sure why, I asked him to come to my door. When he came to my door, he visibly saw I was ill and told me to feel better.
I am now interested in trying more of their menu.

I ordered food from there two nights ago for the third time ever. Last time I ordered from there, there were a few items missing but I didn’t complain. This past time I ordered and I forgot one item so I called immediately after ordering and was told they added the item. Almost exactly 2 hours after I ordered, the delivery driver drove up. I told him right off the bat that if everything I ordered wasn’t inside the bag I was going to refuse the order this time, especially after it took 2 hours to get to me. To my dismay, after waiting two hours hungry as hell, items were missing from my order. I refused the food right then and there and told the driver to take it back. I will never order from that place again.

So I ordered late night delivery from this place tonight while studying and have to say overall it «it wasn’t bad» nor «great» unfortunately.

Pros:
— Sweet & Sour Chicken was delicious and would receive a ⁴⁄₅ on seasoning.
— Food came warm and fresh (mind you I live a short distance from the restaurant).
–Green Apple Milk Tea with Boba was pretty decent, I’d give it a 3.5÷5.
— Service was great!
Cons:
— Sushi was awful and was very inadequate compared to other sushi I’ve had for the same price. ¹⁄₅ on crunch roll.
— White rice unfortunately was hardened it seemed. ²⁄₅
— The food is not great for what you’re paying for.

Ordered delivery one night. Food was «meh». I only discovered this after beckoning for the driver to come back as he delivered the wrong items.
Yeesh.

Ordered (Late night menu) chow fun combination with flat noodles. They were good
Ordered Hanu Beef and it was good too. Came with green peppers, bamboo shoots, watercress, carrots, and beef with no fat on it whatsoever.
Also ordered sweet n sour soup, but haven’t tried that yet. We ordered on Thursday at 10:20pm and we got our food by 11. The message on eat24 said it was going to take 60 minutes plus because they were busy. But good thing they got here within the hour.
I hear and see a lot of bad reviews. Maybe they are changing their stuff up maybe I got lucky today? The world will never know and nor will I until I order again haha

Love the hours. Got food delivered at 1am. Delicious, garlicky, low men.

The food was amazing! I still can’t believe it was delivered to my place, at this time of night! I will definitely be ordering from this place more often.

My bf was craving for Chinese soup at midnight and this restaurant is only chinese restaurant that open at the time. I have seen this restaurant on eat24 but never thought that i would order due to review rate. However the food is better than i thought the portion was decent and the taste is ok not bad but not that good and the price is very reasonable but the free thai tea is like water with sugar. Delivery was fast than 30 min overall is ok. Would order again.

Had the orange chicken the other day from here and it tasted good. The white rice was okay as well.
Delivery person arrived just past a hour as they said they would.
My coworker had the won ton soup and she said it was good.
They give you crispy strips on the side, cool little touch plus a fortune cookie.
Decent enough to order from again.

I’m surprised at all these low ratings! My fiancé and I were devastated when Tam’s Garden abruptly closed; we hunted all over but couldn’t find another local place that had affordable, healthy, tasty food that will make it without MSG (he’s allergic; we learned that many places buy vats of pre-​made sauce and he’s had some horrible MSG migraines after eating their «yes, no MSG» food).
So my fiancé tried ordering from China Wok last night, and they were delish! Delivered in 30 minutes, he said they deliver until 2am. We got Kung Pao Chicken and Vegetables with Chicken, and both dishes were very tasty with lots of crunchy vegetables. It’s pricier than Tam’s by a few bucks per dish; but totally worth it to have a new go-​to on too-​tired-​to-​cook nights. Very pleased!

I’m a loyal customer to this place, the food never disappoints!
We always order via Grub-​hub… a few faves are:
–California roll
–Spicy crabmeat tempura roll
–Fried wontons with cream cheese (absolute fave)
–Kung Pao Chicken
–Crispy shrimp with walnuts

The only problem was the delivery guy. He insisted on a cash tip, but clearly I didn’t understand his thick mandarin accent.
I hope he gets fired, and definitely never ordering again just because of him.

I was starving, so I ordered quickly via GrubHub without checking the Unilocal reviews. Needless to say, I was horrified when I scrolled through pictures of flies and various 1-​star horror story reviews while I waited for my order. It turned out to be better than anticipated.
Lots of people complained about the driver, so I went outside without a tip– I felt bad because he was some sweet young kid who was super polite. He didn’t mention a tip or hang around awkwardly. Right on, bro. The food was packaged nicely, and everything was hot. (It came in 40 minutes.) We got the garlic chicken, beef chow fun, and some avocado sushi. (If you’re dumb (or brave?) enough to order sushi from a place called China Wok in the hood, you probably get what you deserve. But the avocado seemed like a safe choice and it was fabulous.)
All the food was bland as fuck, but if you pour soy sauce on it yourself it tastes pretty bomb. The chicken and the beef looked and tasted eerily similar, and there was more garlic in the chow fun than the garlic chicken. (So, so greasy. Everything was greasy.)
Unless I wake up shitting my life out tonight, all in all not a regrettable decision. I probably won’t be coming back based on the price. Portion sizes are pretty small for how ehh the food is. But it wasn’t the shit-​show some reviews make it out to be. Or I just got lucky. Either way, I probably won’t be ordering again.

I don’t ever leave bad reviews but this is just a heads up; even if there are no funky bugs in your food, you will most likely get sick. Both my roommate and I felt sick the day after eating food from here and honestly it’s not really worth it because the food lacks a lot of flavor and it’s very dry. I love chow fun but their noodles barely had any color in them and for some reason the beef smelled like pork intestine… the orange chicken barely had any sauce on it, much less enough to mix w the rice :/
I was really disappointed but they do have great customer service which is the only reason I am not giving it a one star.

It’s fast, it’s cheap, it’s convenient.
I love that they deliver.
Whenever I get home from work and don’t feel like cooking.
