Good food but they do not accept the Unilocal offer or at least that is what they told me. Not cool.

Service was good, friendly. Salsa was good. I ordered the fajitas but the shrimp was not cleaned at all I cleaned it myself. And left one so you can see it. Yuk.

Sadly, even though I’m always disappointed after eating here, I keep coming back. I’m a glutton for punishment I guess! I tend to order the same thing every time and it never comes out the same way. I order the vegetarian burrito minus peppers. The first time I ordered they left the bell peppers off but the jalapeños in. The next time I ordered no bell peppers or jalapeños and ended up with no onions. I thought I finally had it right after this most recent visit but instead ended up with no peppers and a boatload of pico de gallo. I cannot stand pico de gallo(and specifically cilantro) so it was an effort to get it down. *note to management: pico de gallo is not the same thing as tomatoes(which the guy taking my order asked if I wanted). As much as I complain I know I will be back again. I think I will stay away from the menu board and just build my burrito next time. I always take our food to go but the restaurant always looks clean enough.

I’m a big fan of chile verde and their Carne Asada Wet Burritos, However this location was a complete disappointment, Starting with the cashier, she was very rude, I didn’t ask for a name but she’s the older looking female. Secondly the food presentation was awful. There is usually pico de gallo or lettuce on the side of the burrito and all I got were a few pieces of lettuce, almost none. Inside the burrito I found a huge chunk of what looked like the bottom piece of an onion, It was just gross. I might be back bc I give places second chances. Looking forward to that!

I’ve gotten food here twice because it’s easy and convenient. It’s not the best Mexican by any means, but it’s quick and it’s cheaper than some of the other places. I also was able to redeem a coupon that came up when I checked in here on my Unilocal app.

Place is great. Good food and friendly service. Not to mention they currently have a buy one entre and get one entre free. You cant beat that.

The place was clean. The girls behind the counter were friendly. But the Carne Asada in my burrito was fatty and I hate chewy fatty carne. I like onions but this was way overloaded with them. This was right in the middle of lunch time(1PM) and I didn’t want to wait in the long line at Pollo Loco so I came here. Only one other person in the place and that should have been a clue. The place(franchise) has potential as the place is clean, cool name, cool logo but carne asada is a gateway item for Mexican food. Note to owner — go buy a carne Asada burrito from Baja fresh, Rubios and king taco and compare.

Don’t expect authentic Mexican food here. The beef is really chewy, however the hard shell chicken tacos are really tasty. Good place to eat if you don’t want all the fast food around the area.

Best tacos ever. This is not a fancy place but their tacos are why we come. Order the 12 to go and take them home and enjoy them if you don’t like Inglewood area

One of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve ever experienced. Sullen counter help, paper towels instead of napkins, and awful, overpriced food. I ordered a wet shrimp burrito. It came with few extras, no cheese guacamole or sour cream. But what was really nauseating was the lake of pale green snot sauce that covered the plate. Slimy and unappetizing, it made what should’ve been a tasty lunch into the test of will. I’ve eaten dozens of wet Burritos with green tomatillo salsa that ranged from acceptable to exceptional. This was just plain gross. Unfortunately, I was famished and out of cash, so I choked it down. Never again. There are plenty of better places in that part of town, and frankly El Pollo Loco would’ve been a much better choice.

I’ve been to this Chile Verde before quite a few times. Their food has pretty much gotten worse every time. I ordered the tacos and was sorely disappointed. Del Taco makes better tacos and they’re only 99 cents. Avoid at all costs.

Came here with my sister. She was hungry and wanted something quick to eat. Noticed that the place was clean. A few customers inside. It was either this or McDonald’s, so we were like, let’s give it a try. She ordered a tamal and enchilada special with rice and beans plus a drink. I ordered their nachos with carne asada. Our orders arrived hot. She had me try her tamal and it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the greatest. The nachos were filled with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, beef and pico de gallo. The beef was flavorful. I was surprised because many places will cook your beef with no flavor and compensate with salsa on top. Food and service was decent. Would I come back? Not really. I’ll just stick to my taco trucks!

I went here in the way to the airport trying to avoid the costly food there so I grabbed 4 steak street tacos… When I got on the plane and opened it up its looked like fat beef jerky mixed w/dog food! Yuck! I ended up just eating the tortilla I was soo starving!

It was our first time eating at a Chile Verde branch. When we walk in there was three tables full of people and we said hey this place might be a gem. The restaurant was clean, the cashier was nice & friendly. The menu looks good for from the what they describe. But then we oder and notice the cook coming in & out the kitchen okey that was wired. After 10min we found out the the three table full of people where the cooks family and the oder where coming out when the family would remind him of what they wanted, we didn’t see any recite on the table or in their hands. The worst happen when Ive seen a family get up while the cashier turn her back and grab a drink out the cooler without paying? After 25min of waiting for our food we decided to take it out it was too much going on, we had the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans$ 11,the worst I’ve ever had the rice & bean where dry most likely microwave, the enchiladas tasteless and drown in green sauce. We also had a steak burrito, the worst my friend complain of the tough meat and dry rice & beans$ 8 – 9.We where very disappointed in food and service here, we hope ownership catches up and steps in!

I have no idea how they have an overall rating of only 2.5 stars. This place is way better than any Mexican fast food and basically the same price. Based on price and the value for the food you get, I give it 4 stars. The food here is always good, and always tastes fresh. The salsas are delicious also.

This place is pretty great. … it’s not the best Mexican food in the world. It’s is super fresh. The shredded nachos chicken are amazeballs. ***You have to request shredded chicken. :) Beats all the rest of the fast Mexican food. I wonder why they recently got a… B… from Health Department?

I actually want to give 4.5 stars. Ive been driving by for about a year and finally stopped to eat. Ate there yesterday for lunch. It was good clean classic Mexican food at a great price. Chips were fresh. I ordered two tacos and the chicken was hot and marinated well. Usually I go to the bigger chain Mexican restaurants(not quite fast food, but a step up from that) and Chile Verde is just as good but at a better price point. I also judge a place by how clean their restroom is and theirs was spotless.

My fiancé and I went here right after finishing my first half marathon and since I was craving mexican food and this place it right next to my house I thought I’d try it out. The 99 cent tacos were good but we both also got burritos and the meat was VERY salty! Since its walking distance, I’m sure I’ll go back but only for the $ 1 tacos.

3 stars because you can pile all the fresh onions, cilantro & salsa you like. I thought $ 1 tacos were great until I looked inside. There’s literally a spoon full of meat inside, I guess you do get what you pay for… All in all I enjoyed & for $ 1 I’d return

I came here for the dollar street tacos and wasn’t shocked they were good since I love Chile Verde’s. The lady who helped me was nice. She complimented me on my bag and helped me sort out the Unilocal check-in deal. I noticed how clean the tables, salsa and drink section were, which is always a good thing. I ordered a chicken and beef street taco along with a fish taco. The street tacos didn’t come with the cilantro and onions, but I was supposed to put it on there. They were excellent without any sauce, just the meat and shell. That’s how you know you have a good taco! The fish taco is great as usual, but at this location they really hooked it up. They put a ton f fish and sauce in there, so much it felt like a burrito! Very pleased!
