The spicy pork bibimbap(11.95) was plentiful, but despite coming out in a stone pot, the rice was mushy! The meat was flavorful, but wasn’t the best. I want to try Corea’s version to compare. Maybe the other dishes are better?

Love this place, when I need a quick bite to eat for a reasonable price, this is my go to spot. Fast and healthy, for just about $ 8 I can get chicken bulgolgi with rice, soup, kimchi, radish, and a side of black beans! Free parking for 2 hours!

Great lunch spot in a common cafeteria area. Had their cold noodle soup on a hot summer day and it was so rejuvenating and delicious! The pork spare rib was great– very flavorful. It’s a bit hard to hear them call out when your order is ready, so I recommend sitting(or waiting) near the business.

I’ve been frequenting the old restaurant since more than a decade ago and now frequenting this spot in the cafeteria. Although chilbo is known well for their neng myun(cold noodles) they really have other excellent korean dishes to choose from. I think they have the best tasting dishes for korean food and I don’t feel that weird MSG feeling after eating it. I think it’s just well made korean food. Try the $ 6 menu. The bibim bap, and guk bap are my faves!

This review is only covering their bulgogi dish. I’ve been to this hole-in-the-wall at the food court at least 10x. Some times I’ve noticed that they have skimped on the meat and have substituted it with rice cakes but I still like the quality of the bulgogi. The banchan is pretty good and the staff are nice. It really depends on what day you go, some days you may get more meat, others not. Maybe some day I will try a different dish but so far i’m hooked on their bulgogi! :)

Quite excellent! The short rib soup is great, and the people are friendly. Cold naengmyun is refreshing and the spicy naengmyun was pretty good.

This used to be known as THE place for naengmyun. Went here today for a quick dinner and the service awful and food tasting very bad. If you are in the mood for naengmyun, do yourself a favor and go buy those cold noodle packs from a nearby korean grocery store cuz it is that bad. Location is on 6th near aghassi. Go there instead if you can bear the noise.

99.9% sure they just refried the stale dumplings that were on display and gave it to us. There were 2 plates of dumplings on display on a tray right next to the cash register, 1 plate of steamed meat dumplings and 1 plate of fried veggie dumplings. We ordered bibimbap and fried veggie dumplings and took a seat right next to the counter(with the kitchen in view). About 30 seconds later, a guy from the kitchen pops out his head and asks the cashier guy to give him the plate of fried veggie dumplings. Hmmm fishy. Lo and behold, couple minutes later, our dumplings are ready. My husband asked the cashier if they used the same plate of dumplings that were on display and the guy says no. So we ate them but the whole time, I can’t help but still be suspicious and notice that the display fried dumplings have not been replaced yet the steamed dumplings are still on display. Before we left, I went up to the cashier and asked him where that display plate went. He said«it was old so we threw it away.» I asked why they didn’t throw away the steamed dumplings as well then. He said«that one we just keep there.» Um Ok!!! I told him it’s a little weird that right when I order the dish, the display one gets taken back and disappears. and that it left a bad taste in my mouth. Literally. Never going back.

Got excited because you can order both spicy cold noodles and regular cold noodles for $ 10.50! But it wasn’t that tasty. The spicy noodles were too sweet and the water cold noodles didn’t have enough flavor. I should have tried another eatery at City Plaza. Don’t think I would come back. Beware, this Chilbomyunok has nothing to do with the Chilbo on 6th st that had kbbq, cold noodles, kalbi jjim and you name it.

Are you kidding me? This place is complete TRASH. The cold noodles should be called 7-UP Noodles. The broth is not made of beef, it is 7-UP. It tastes like SHIT. They put korean pear and meat as toppings to trick the customer. The price of it is eight dollars. NOTWORTHIT

Large portions, even for the $ 6.25 lunch special. I feel that out of all the eateries in the food court, they have the highest quality food. Though, as is true with all places in K-town, be prepared for limitted english. Unless you are already familiar with korean food, the menu will be a challenge because there are no English descriptions and limitted pictures.
