All I can say, there is a lot of places to eat in Los Angeles, I refuse to give my money to RUDE people! The chicken is good, but what kills it is the service and the ATTITUDE is ridiculous. I ask for napkins, they act like if I am bugging them I ask to use the bathroom I get attitude and to top it off they start talking in their language, REALLY??? Which I assume it was because I asked to wash my hands and didn’t wipe the sticky residue on my clothes how they look like they do… I definely do not need to pay for dirty silverware and MASSIVERUDENESS! This place seemed more like a Chinese restaurant vs a Thai one. Came for dinner and wanted to get their bbq grilled chicken, but it looked like they only had leftovers from lunch that had been sitting there so I didn’t want to order it. I got red Thai curry with rice instead and it was good. Nothing out of ordinary or unusual here. Just your typical hole in the wall. We also got egg rolls. Free parking in small strip mall.

Have passed by this place many times but just cAme in just now. The name outside doesn’t scream Thai food but the title makes curious why that chicken is on fire. Lol. Food didn’t disappoint. Paid $ 9.+ for pad Thai and it was palate approved. I hate pad Thais that are dry and bland. Theirs wasn’t. The chicken the place is named after is also good. Grilled chicken with a bit of flavor. They can work on increasing that flavor. But good juicy chicken. The dining area is very blah but this isn’t a date place it’s just a good Thai spot to grab food and go. I will come back again.

All i have to say is BOMB! Not only is this place extremely affordable, they are quick and the food is delicious. I ordered House Special Charbroiled Chicken Very flavorful. Perfect consistency. Juicy and crispy skin! On a scale from 1 to 10. I would give it 10. Yummy!!!

Best BBQ chicken in the city! I’m also a fan of their pad see yoo with reasonable portion of beef. So good I’ve never been disappointed. The food always tasty. The prices are reasonable. I’m a fan!

Wish I could vote zero stars. Stopped in here on my way home, ordered a half chicken, total came to $ 10. Pulled out my card and the short haired lady behind the counter asked for my ID. I mentioned how strange it was for a $ 10 transaction. Can’t remember the last time I furnished one for food, let alone fast food. She said«just policy» and continued ringing me up in a curt manner and was very short when I inquired about sides. Got a giant plate of flavorless food with one thin napkin and balking about if I wanted hot sauce. Sort of peeved when an Asian woman, around my age(40) bought her meal with a card and wasn’t asked for ID. So I left. Burnt me up so bad I came back and asked her about her bullshit policy and all I get is «I forgot» to ID. Yes, you forgot. You forgot profiling me makes you a horrible person and your business should be closed with you in the front of the house. Good luck Chicken on Fire. Food was amazing. Not from around here so we were taking a shot in the dark. Everything tasted so good we couldn’t stop eating it even though we were full. Price is right.

…thought we’d give this place a try rather than drive to Thai town where you know you will find good Thai food. We ordered the yellow curry and Pad Thai… both with chicken. Yellow curry flavor was pretty good, but watery and lacking in substance IE chicken(which was dry) and other ingredients. Pad Thai had plenty of noodles but lacked flavor, didn’t have the fried egg and what we would consider other requisite ingredients, chicken was the same dry chicken. Wasn’t good enough for us to go back again.

I was really excited to eat here. I mean with the 5 star, 1 star, 5 star, 1 star reviews, I figured I would either have the most amazing Thai food of all times or I would die of food poisoning. My experience was somewhere in between. I got the spicy pork fried rice and really enjoyed it! It had the right amount of kick to it. And there were several large pieces of pork. Generous portion as well. Also thought the veggie egg rolls were top notch. It was pretty empty when we came in at 6 on a Wednesday evening. Small private lot in a tiny strip mall at the corner of Olympic and LA Cienega. Nice and attentive service. Recommend.

Place is great. I love the spicy beef. My girl loves the Kong pao chicken. The vegetarian egg rolls are fantastic. Never had a problem here. I always take out tho. They are always nice to us. Sure I can choose the 2 Thai places close by, But I feel I get a better value for more food here. It’s become my first choice. Parking is better here.

BAD! I FELTSICK immediately after! Why don’t they let you do negative stars. The orange chicken is SO fried the whole thing is a crispy greasy crunch! Even the TINY piece of chicken on the inside is a dry grey crunchy piece. It’s HORRIBLE! I ate two pieces and threw the rest away. 100% WASTE of money. Total bummer!

RUDE. when I read 1 or 2 star reviews, I proceed with a grain of salt; often I find it’s the Unilocaler who’s being unreasonable for the business not accommodating a special request, or they had one minor issue, and all the sudden the whole restaurant is run by Satan and his crew. FÜD: the lunch chicken special was pretty good, half a roasted chicken with 2 sides for around 10 bucks. if you get here around lunch time, be prepared to circle the super-crowded intersection of Olympic and La Cienega for parking as spaces are super limited. I’d recommend ordering ahead and bringing a friend who can run in while you wait; the interior isn’t really anything to miss. SERVICE: terrible. Asian restaurants aren’t really known for hospitality in the first place, but this one is special. first they got our sides wrong — on one, we asked for soup and salad, they gave us fried rice. no biggie, we asked to have it corrected, and after a sidelong glance, they swapped it out. on the other we asked for brown rice and soup, we got white rice. when I asked for brown, they said, «two dollars extra!» ok, no biggie. I had to wait in the car for a spot while my girl ran in to place the to go order, but I eventually found one, so I came in. all the tables were empty save one with ppl waiting for carryout, so we decided to just eat there. we ate quickly and cleaned up after ourselves. seeing no garbage can, I walked to the front with the boxes. she looked at them blankly and said, «you can throw it away outside.» there’s the line. sorry, you don’t treat customers like that. you could probly come here and have no issues, but beware of the staff if you ask for anything out of the ordinary. to me, it’s simply not worth putting up with blatantly rude ppl when Natalie Thai is right down the street.

I’m shocked that this place has as many 4+ star reviews as it does. I’ve never really had subpar Thai food until coming here for lunch. — The pad thai my friend ordered was okay — nothing special. Not too difficult to make greasy noodles taste good. — My chicken special was not great. TBH, El Pollo Loco is better. My biggest pet peeve with chicken is small pieces of feathers still attached to the skin. This had it all over. — The«egg fried rice» was served almost cold and there was not a single piece of egg to be found — very bland. Not everything was a disappointment though. The Thai tea was delicious. Not sure that counts, since it’s doused in cream/sugar.

I had a lunch special, chicken chow men. It was very delicious and I’d recommended this place. I’ll definitely come back again to try other dishes. Service is very nice and quick. If you’re looking for an awesome place for a quick lunch this is the best in town. Awesome job!

FANTASTIC!!! Small mom n pop Thai Restaurant with Great Service and Amazing food. The cook is excellent and prepared the food with authentic flavors and the perfect seasonings. In Thai cuisine, I look for exceptionally strong, unique flavors, fresh ingredients and spices that are uniquely representative of Thai culture, and this is it folks. Highly recommend and a must try if you’re in the area. We will definitely be back.

I come to this place almost every time after I go to therapy in bougie Beverly Hills & this is just what I need to unwind. All the noodle dishes I’ve had here are awesome, and the pad Thai is one of my favorites is in this city. The sauce is rly unique and has a really fresh taste. Pad see ew is a close second. I don’t love fried rice, but when my friend has gotten it here, the basil fried rice has been great too. I will say that the curries are kinda watery for me so I wouldn’t go w/that. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the interior of the restaurant but I find it casual and relaxing. I can see how someone might not though.
