I was shattered to hear that the location in the Westside Pavilion has closed, after the mall completely refurbished its food court. My guess is they jacked up the rent for the vendor spots, and my beloved Chicken Now just wasn’t willing to shell out the cash. This place made the difficult – but respectable – decision to specialize in only ONE thing: kick-ass chicken tenders. Don’t let that fool you into thinking there’s only one menu item. They’ve managed to find over a dozen ways to serve these heavenly tenders, ranging from Wraps to Salads and Sandwiches.((They also had wings on the menu, although I imagine they were«boneless wings,» so, more like Buffalo Tender chunks. Sadly, I never got a chance to get those)) They have fries that I would sever one of my toes for; cooked to order, like everything else. And like Judge Reinhold said in Fast Times, «I will serve no fries before their time.» These folks have mastered the French Fry… Crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside. Add some of that seasoning salt… Shiiiiiiiiiit. Their secret marination process involves something like a 24-hour citrus based marinade, NOFREEZING, and everything cooked to order. They have texas toast, and the most AMAZING dipping sauce I’ve ever had with chicken(«Grandma’s Secret Sauce»). Rumor has it that they have a spot in Montebello or something, and don’t even THINK that I won’t drive my butt out there just to get some chicken. These folks have mastered their craft, and I will miss my regular visits to their Westside location.

I love this place! The chicken is perfect; it’s moist, and the breading tastes great. I have been several times and all the staff is super nice. The«grandma’s sauce,» a semi-sweet sauce that comes with the chicken is also really good on their fries. If you get a box combo, don’t bother with the rice side.

Don’t let the food court setting fool you. Chicken Now has the best chicken tenders in town. They are moist and flavorful. The freshness of the chicken really comes out. If I remember correctly, for $ 5-$ 6, you can get 10 pieces of chicken nuggets, a drink and fries. It is one of the best deals at the Westside Pavilion food court.

yummy, yummy in my tummy! I ate their chicken strips and really like them because their chicken is really moist and not overly covered in hard breading. Good value for your money. Their secret sauce is soooooo tasty. Definitely will be back!

A pretty good place. It is mall fast food so it’s probably not the best of the best but I liked their original chicken sandwich. I also liked their chicken tenders and its sauce.
