Since my last review over two years ago, I have to say that I still LOVE Shear Delight. The original stylist I reviewed has left, but now I see Suzy, the owner. She’s wonderful! She really listens to my requests and also makes great suggestions. I usually try to defer to the stylist because they’re the pros and know far more about styling hair than I do. Suzy has never steered me wrong. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Palms/​Culver City area.

I have grown up in this neighborhood and never knew this salon was there. I just thought it was an old lady or «blue» salon. Boy, was I wrong! I have VERY thick, wavy hair and I have been blonde for about 5 yrs. I am always looking for a good deal on cut and color. I have found it here! Under $ 100 for an FAB cut and AWESOME color. Ask for Suzy or Heather!!! They are both very warm, friendly, it is a very relaxing experience. They only use Paul Mitchell products, this is the ONLY blonde i can use! Any other burns my scalp! YAY SHEAR DELIGHT!

I’m not sure what this other person’s problem is, but I am a reasonably young person and I was a client of Shear Delight for 17 years, until I moved. Fernando is a fantastic hair stylist and very, very good at color, and Miss Tu is a great manicurist. Don’t let the elderly clientele put you off, Fernando has clients of all ages, including children, who he is very good with. I always looked forward to my appointments there.
