Worst burger I ever had, one bite and took it back and left it on counter. Staff eating food while cooking. this place should be shut down.

So much for me trying to eat healthier LOL. So I came here with some friends and tried a Philly cheesesteak and wow it was actually delicious! Came here another time and had a avocado sprout sandwich wow that’s good too! Then I had a special #2 burrito and that was good too! It’s safe to say this place does not specialize in just one food type or item but has a wide range of different must have foods. There is breakfast foods from waffles, omelettes, hash browns and much more and they have burgers, sandwiches, even corn dogs and chicken nuggets! A must try if your ever at the grove or farmers market and reasonably priced for the quality you get. Nice little mom and pop shop where the staff provides you with the feeling of being home and having you parents cook for you. Grade A food Grade A price. A must try for anyone local or visiting Los Angeles also this place is famous for their burgers according to the news locally and nationally so all the positive reviews and my taste buds can’t be wrong on this!

Just okay. In the Farmer’s Market I tend to expect the food to taste a little fresher and better than a standard breakfast restaurant. The prices aren’t too steep and the staff is friendly however if you’re in the mood for something fancier, fresher, or more interesting there are other places within the market to check out.

Great food, great busy atmosphere. They call your names when your food is ready, which is kind of cool. And yes, they do validate parking ticket. I got veggie omelette with freshly squeezed lemonade and my wife got Philly cheesestake. Both were good and yummy !!!

So today I brought my family and two nephews here to eat brunch. Which will be the last time ever. The younger lady with glasses taking orders was very very rude to us. If you come here be prepared.

Breakfast is fine but they will steal your credit card info and sell it! AVOID! Very rude staff and manager.

It’s simple, the menu, which is great since there’s so many other vendors. The lady that served us was very abrupt but you know what, I kinda liked that, it was different, she’s sweet LOL. The food was delicious, she asked if it was good, since we were quiet… obviously we nodded in agreement with food stuffed in our mouths.

If you’re looking for a place to go that has simple American breakfast this is it. Don’t expect anything fancy at all, just very simple American type breakfast; eggs bacon hashbrowns that’s it

Good food, bad experience with ordering and getting the food. After 10 – 15 minute wait seeing everyone get their food that ordered after us, which was mostly the same food, I asked the cashier for help and she was not able to assist. Water at end was not ready and cashier was yelled at in front of everyone that She needs to have that ready. Probably deserved, way to go Manager/owner. Get rid of cashier or get her more help at front.

Watched the staff talk amongst themselves for about twenty five minutes until they started working on my food. There was no line. I ordered an omelet with toast and chili fries. They were talking so much that they burned my toast and didn’t bother to remake it. I saw the staff look at each other after burning the toast and they agreed to serve it anyway. Horrible service, average food, do not recommend, will not be returning. Terrible.

You can find a more reasonably priced breakfast at the Grove than Charlie’s for the amount Of food they give. Ordered my son a waffle it was so hard i could not cut it! I asked for new one and the cooks response was: oh! You want it more medium? No Mam i want it more edible! I ordered eggs over hard they were over easy. We received one syrup for a medium plate size waffle. Needless to say this is our last trip.

This place can get busy and packed, so look forward to waiting 20 – 30 min for a table! I love that I stepped into the coffee shop when I did. Their menu is so huge, with so many different options, which can be a little overwhelming, but their food is so heavenly good! Also, it is reasonably priced for the food that you receive. The waiters are fast and take care of you when they are not busy. The owner is really fun and nice too! There is only street parking, but I don’t think it is that hard to find parking around that area. Even if I have to park in the back of the residential area, walking there is no pain.

This review is on the burger itself. My bad the cheeseburger!!! Wheat bun, charbroiled meat, tomato, pickles, lettuce, cheese, and grilled onions. I gotta say it felt like I was eating a healthy burger. Very tasty and fresh. No guilt added. Idno $ 7 plus for a cheeseburger is kinda steep but this simple cheeseburger steps up to the plate. Large and in charge. Two thumbs up!

Had a late breakfast here with my family. We each order a breakfast combo a(Pancakes, FrenchToast, Waffles). The pancakes were pretty good, large and fluffy. The waffles were average and the French toast was 1 slice of bread cut in half so the I would say if your hungry not to order the French toast. The lady who took our order was extremely unpleasant. My boyfriend thinks I’m crazy when I say this but I pick up on vibes easily. I have sensitive nature to these things. Can’t stay I’ll be back anytime soon. There are a lot of places in the Farmers Market to try before I make my way back here.

Okay. Let me just tell you… Not only is this the best burger I’ve ever had, but the service is remarkable. The outspoken chef Willow is great. She makes it just how you want it while giving a home away from home feel. You can tell she really values manners and respect both given and received. My boyfriend got a blt. I figured it would be good cause how can a blt not be good. I did not expect to say«WOW!» After trying a bite. It was made so right from the crisp bacon to the fresh leaf lettuce to the golden brown bread. My boyfriend and I are huge fans now! We found our food sanctuary in the busy world of la!

I had an asada burrito and was completely satisfied. Not really much to review here cuz it is in farmer’s market so I can’t judge service or ambience or anything. Grub is good tho! Enjoy

It’s basic, simple, and delicious every time. I’ve previously enjoyed the waffles, the BLT, and this time the cheeseburger and fries. I always look forward to eating at Charlie’s when I’m in LA visiting the Farmers Market.

This was mediocrity at its finest. Nothing about my breakfast was spectacular and nothing about it made me remember it later in the day(well, except the receipt in my pocket which was a gentle reminder that I spent too much money on a forgettable breakfast). It’s not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, it’s just aight. My french toast was decent but the fact that it was covered with super tart strawberries and served with a packet of cheap maple syrup didn’t add anything to it. The bacon was spot on, though; so there’s that. There are a lot of choices at the Farmer’s Market and I think I’ll exhaust all my other options before returning here.

Terrible. I’m not even going to get into it. Many other places to eat here. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I’ve had school lunches that are gourmet compared to this place. The only people that should come here is the Health Department.

My friend brought me here to this chill spot in the Farmers Market. To be honest, there are so many places in the market it makes my head spin. We came here for a very chill, cheap and easy breakfast. I don’t think the total of the two of us exceeded $ 15. There was a bar next door with a TV and we were very happy. I strongly suggest coming here for a quick fining experience that is affordable.
