I stumbled into this store looking for my favorite ginseng tea. Hsu’s Root to Health Ginseng tea is ridiculously expensive on amazon because it includes shipping. Here I got a 60 pack for $ 19.99, paid with credit card and they didn’t even charge me any fees or tax. Lin!

Closed today. Friday. How odd. No signage indicating why.

I love this place. It is the perfect store for herbs and it’s close to my house. I love their teas, and everything they have in there. The ballerina tea is awesome and all the other medicinal herbs are the best.

if you frequent wing hop fung a lot for dried scallops, dried mushrooms, and ginseng(don’t play it off like you don’t), then chanh thai is another alternative for you to shop at. they are definitely a lot smaller and mayhaps a little pricier, but they are a mom and pop shop and really welcomes your business with a friendly attitude and good service. they have the typical asian snackies and also drawers and drawers full of dried herbs and various creepy crawlies all in the name of good olé eastern medicine. if you’ve experienced anything close to a childhood like mine, then you’ve drank some crazy ass medicinal shit too. why go to kaiser when you can fix your constipation with some dried roaches and tree roots. just sayin’…last time i was there, they had a two for one deal on their ginseng. my fobby side got pretty excited.
