I wanted to like this more, but I found the ceviche way too strong. Chile spice, lime, and onion, and lots of it — totally overpowering the fish. The inclusion of sweet potato was pretty tasty, but I felt there had to be more of it to counter all the citrus and spice. Also, they should warn you that this stuff is spicy as f*ck!

I had their Peruvian Mixto ceviche at a food festival in August and I am still thinking about it. it was delicious and refreshing. They’re a new truck, so getting their footing. I hope they get their groove on because damn, I want another order of that ceviche next time I come across their truck, but this time I want it extra spicy!

Came across them at Granada hills grubfest, I ordered one chicken empanada to share with my husband as I always try something from every truck if possible. Well as I was leaving I HADTOGOBACK! I ordered chicken and steak empanadas. Great food great service and they were also one of the only trucks to have a recycling bin which I thought was great. I def will be following this truck now!

Really enjoyed there food they seemed to move towards a Peruvian truck instead which I really enjoy the food was prepared fresh I got the Peruvian ceviche and it tasted exactly like back in Peru definetly providing the countries flavors really love this place they seem to get there groove going definetly Perus finest and the service was awesome got great information from the gentleman and great food thank you Cevigos!

@cevigos It’s a shame when this happens but I can totally picture it. Somebody has some ultra fantastic recipes for Cevice and some family member says to them«You should open a restaurant». Only a restaurant is price prohibitive so a food truck is opened instead. And that can work provided there is some basic knowledge of how to run a restaurant. That unfortunately is not the case here. Don’t get me wrong, the food from here is very good. I tried their signature Cevigos Ceviche and loved it. A great mixture of sea foods with a nice little habanero bite. The problem is the service. First, cevice is a cold dish that can be made ahead, you should never have to wait for it. Nonetheless, my order took over 25 minutes. The man who took the orders was clearly in over his head. He could not multi task to save his life. That unfortunately for them is very high on the list of talents you need to call upon in order to have a successful food truck. I have to make clear that the only reason they even got 3 stars is the quality of the food. Otherwise, way too slow and apparently unorganized. I hope these issue get worked out because the food is good

Slooooooo They came to Redondo Beach today. I was the 4th person in line. The person taking my order didn’t have enough cash to offer everyone change & was having difficulties getting his card reader to work. Ordered the Peruvian Ceviche w/drink for $ 10. Took 35 minutes to get. Yes, you read that correct. 35 minutes. Now, this is ceviche, it should already be curing in the lime/lemon juices before you get out of the vehicle. But, it appears that they were doing their preparation while orders were being taken. My friend was the next in line, he ordered the Mexican Ceviche & fish tacos. It took another 10 minutes after me(45 minutes) to get his order! We both enjoyed our Ceviche, portions were about 8 oz and the white fish was of good quality. He hated his fish tacos though. Both of us felt that the fish didn’t have enough time to «cook» in the acid & we were both hungry an hour after. We won’t be back. They need to learn this food service business quickly, or they won’t have any customers.
