Officially DONE with this place. First off let me start by saying my family and I have come here for YEARS, and we are even known by name. But, I have to say that over the years the customer service here has really gone down. They do a HORRIBLE job of notifying customers about the no card, cash only policy. I recently came here and to my surprise they were only accepting cash, no signs anywhere to inform the customers by the way. I decided to stay and eat with a friend. We ordered the jumbo special, and some hot wings. The potato wedges came first, then the pizza, then 15 minutes later the wings. Not sure why 6 wings took so long, but sadly they did. And of course the wings came with no ranch. Since none of the employees were around, I decided to wait until I saw someone to ask for some ranch. When one of the owners children finally came around she asked if we needed anything, so of course I asked for the ranch. She walked to the counter and yelled«RANCH!!» And then walked away. We did not see anyone come out, or check on us again. I have to say the children of the owners are VERY rude. We finally got fed up of the service, and I got up to pay. I waited for minutes before the owners oldest child came out, ignored me, and called his mom to say someone wanted to pay. I found this to be rude because he could have easily said«Someone will be with you» or something. Instead he just called out for his mom, and walked away. This restaurant is going downhill due to their customer service. My family and I used to come here all the time, but I think it’s about time we stop. I seriously hope this restaurants staff learns some manners.

In response to the owner: Thank you for the long overdue response. As I wish I could say I was lying, this was a honest review of a real experience I had at your establishment. I did receive a shaker of Parmesan from the refrigerator containing cockroaches. I’m not saying they were HUGE but they were alive cockroaches nonetheless. As I stated, my review in 2014 was from an experience two years prior. I’m not sure if you routinely had exterminators come in on a month to month back then however, I’m glad that’s something you implemented. I wish your family business the best of luck but unfortunately I will not be returning to give it a second try.

This pizza is great I love it :) The pizza is greasy but overall it taste really good I love it I’ve been a customer for a while now when they used to be over there on First Street Their prices are very reasonable I compare this pizza to King Cole’s pizza over there and Lorena and I think this pizza is better :) Give it a shot

Only their pepperoni is good. Their Deluxe tastes like frozen pizza from the supermarket that’s been reheated with cheap sausage, bell pepper, and bland taste. $ 3 extra for delivery

My family and I have been ordering pizza from Cerece’s for a long time. We always order the Jumbo Deluxe with anchovies and jalapeños on the side. The pizza is bomb! I personally like that it’s not expensive for a family meal that includes a side salad and a 2 liter soda compared to those pizza franchises that over price their pizza. Trust me Cerece’s is a must try! Best Pizza in ELA.

Decent Pizza, horrible service. Reason I give two stars is the bald headed guy working the cashier is a tool. Hes on his phone and doesnt even realize a customer comes in with his back turned to them. No hello or welcome, not even a thank you after you pay. I said thanks three times and nothing lol. Seems like a family joint and the folks in the back smile and bust their ass so this guy can ruin it for them. Pizza is fairly priced and isn’t bad. The pizza does need work and nonetheless isn’t so bad for pizza in East LA lol. Greasy tho and ingredients seem kinda cheap. I go here biweekly for my pizza fix. First time I even had a hair in my pizza but shit happens. I still come back. But this bald headed tool at the cashier has to go or brighten up a bit. Don’t let this guy kill your business and sway your customers to another place. Just a FYI.

They get a solid 2 stars. After reading the reviews for this place I decided to give it a shot and pick up a pie to take home. I ordered their deluxe pizza which came with most of their toppings. Here is the lowdown: The pizza had a decent flavor to it. It was really enjoyable until we started to notice how greasy the pizza actually was. There was grease coming from the bottom of the pizza, the crust on the end, and seeping up from the cheese. It made us question the quality of the cheese. Greasy cheese is never a good thing. Also, the mushrooms were very rubbery with a texture straight out of a can. The next day when I reheated the pizza in the microwave it was so greasy my pizza shined like a star. It wasn’t the worst pizza I’ve ever had but it definitely will not command a repeat performance. The taste was definitely solid but the grease was a turnoff. Hopefully they will change a few of their ingredients and then they’ll be A-OK.

Sooo good! I live down the street and didn’t know it was there! Build ur own pizza on a seriously delicious crust. I love good pizza crust. It’s the new place for me. The only thing is it took an hour for it to be delivered, So be warned. Still worth the wait

Best pizza in East LA. I use to get pizza from them when they were Yuyu’s. And I’m glad I found them again after so many years. I always order Pepperoni & Mushroom and I am always satisfied! Prices are great too. Ordered a small pizza for only $ 4 and barely finished half by myself.

If you’re from East LA you definetly will be glad to know… formerly known as Yuyu’s Pizza, Cerese’s has kept the original recipe on all items of their menu. Total comfort food for this ELA girl.

Another one for the good ol’ 90022. If you ask me about politics, unfortunately you will get no conversation or interest out of me. But ask me about underrated restaurants and I will make your head spin worse than Monica Lewinsky did to Clinton verbally of course– but you’d have to be a chick, though. lol Cerese’s Pizza was recommended to me by a good friend, and they were formerly known as Yuyu’s Pizza. According to popular buzz, those guys literally had people lined up around the corner for this pizza. One thing that Cerece’s was smart enough to do was to keep the recipe for this DELICIOUS pizza. I highly recommend the Jumbo Deluxe pizza. You know how you go to Little Caesar’s pizza and you get 90% bread, tomato sauce, and SOME toppings that made their way to the pizza by accident? lol Well, this pizza is the polar opposite of that. You get real soft pizza dough bombarded with all these fresh toppings that haven’t been sitting around frozen, sacrificing taste. It’s the real deal, baby. Oh, and if you’re gonna get the«Antipasto,»(salad) get it with the Italian dressing. You think Olive Garden has a good salad? You’re in for a treat here, man. Don’t take my word for it. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — the 90022 just doesn’t get the love it deserves.

Best antipasto salad I’ve ever had. Wedges are flavorful and usually right out of the fryer. Pizza is not for the faint hearted. It’s super greasy but they use really good cheese. Right off the Atlantic stop on the Gold Line.
