Center for Spiritual Living Granada Hills

I feel so blessed to have found the Centre. I’ve spent the better part of my adult life (20’s-30’s) searching for a spiritual community that I felt aligned with my beliefs yet also facilitated growth in my faith and address my doubts/​fears. I was raised Christian and didn’t always agree with the dogma. I later took an interest in Buddhism but, I didn’t quit feel the ‘Spirit’ (not to say they don’t have it). Eventually, I moved to San Fernando Valley and explored different Christian churches and Buddhist temples but none ever really ‘felt’ right. About 4 months ago, I believe the Universe finally guided me to the Centre, not when I most needed it but rather when I was ready to receive it. I have since definitely felt the Holy Spirit and overwhelming Love. I have also appreciated the Centre’s use of modern science, psychology, history, theology and philosophy to strengthen my faith and intellectually challenge the sceptic in me. I haven’t felt pressured to give money or join some cult like mentally. Overall, it has been an extremely positive experience and I look forward to raising my daughter in this community.

I’ve been attending the center for a couple of years now. I went back after my first visit because of the warmth and sincere friendliness of the congregation. I kept going back because Rev. Mike is a regular guy who also happens to be inspiring and really smart — and knows his religious science! The classes are fantastic, too.

Easter Sunday and the music was fantastic! Rev. Mike presented an alternative view of the Easter events to a full sanctuary. Loved it!
